> 3 dayMuy buen porte para leer y transportar. Resistente aguanta agua y golpes, lo ocupo para leer mangas y de noche y no cansa la vista con el modo luz cálida. El unico problema es que aveces cuando lo enciendes no se inicia y debes reiniciarlo, pero es fácil solucionarlo apretando el botón de encendido y volumen.

> 3 dayI upgraded to this from the original Paperwhite. While I loved my Paperwhite, it had no backlight and was showing sings of wear and tear. After a lot of research, I chose Kobo due to the native overdrive configuration. To be able to check out library books directly to my device was amazing. I love this thing! Its quick, snappy, I CAN READ AT NIGHT, and the ability to click buttons to turn the page is something I didnt realize I needed. I also love the placement of the power button on the back. I never accidentally lock it while reading. The Kobo store is more pricey than the kindle store (makes sense because kindle works out deals with their authors) but they have sales and your points build up quickly. I believe that it also accepts epubs natively if you need to sideload books bought on other platforms.

> 3 dayI really like the size. My hands get arthritic some days and this reader is the perfect size to hold. Larger than a cell phone, smaller than a hard cover book. VERY light weight with out a cover. Its the cover that makes it feel just a tad heavy. I can choose font, font size, brightness, and button management and a couple of other features Im not sure how to use but overall a great product.

> 3 dayThis is the first eReader that Ive had in many years. I love the kobo libra 2 eReader! I love how easy it is to use and I feel that it has good battery life. I love the buttons on it which is why I picked this over a kindle paperwhite. The kindle oasis has buttons but was a little too pricey for me. So far, I havent run into any problems using the kobo libra 2.

> 3 dayKindle is similar but this one is a better price for same quality if not better. Love the white color it’s literally exactly what I wanted. Easy to hold and the app to buy books is super simple. Stop comparing and buy!!!!

> 3 dayAfter couple kindles and trying to deal with missing features or annoyances I decided to give this reader a try. Its much better, reads more formats, and seems easier to use than couple kindles I had in the past. If you want to read stuff that is not in kindle/amazon store this reader is a much better option. Together with calibre its easy to organize books by series, something I couldnt easily do with Kindle (unless you buy books from the store).

> 3 dayI waited until Black Friday to buy my Kobo, because I thought the original was a bit steep. Now I think of something happened to mine, Id immediately buy it again. Full price. It is THAT good. I dont even think I need to worry because its very sturdy, and I purchased a case to keep it in my bag. The Kobo is amazing, the text is pristine and crisp, and its so comfortable to hold. The buttons are very convenient, too, especially knowing that other brands who offer them, do it for a lot more money. I think the Kobo is currently the best option when it comes to ereaders, so its worth every penny. Edit: its been over a month and Im still in love! I was swayed by the 7 screen and the fact that its waterproof. I have pretty small hands (Im 411), so I was worried itd be too big and uncomfortable to carry everywhere, but its really not! It somehow looks bigger in pictures, but its about the size of a paperback, only a little wider. It is pretty lightweight and I can read while holding it with one hand. You can switch up the button commands very easily, I do it a lot when going from holding with one hand to the other. As I said, I have freakishly small hands and Ive had no issues so far, I think the size and weight are perfect! The only thing is that the cover does add some weight. I dont know how well they fare with bumps and being dropped (mine feels very sturdy but I worry about damaging the screen), but I keep mine in its case when Im not using it because of the weight, and luckily I havent dropped it over since I got it! Its been a joy to have it. I really think you should go ahead and take the plunge!

> 3 dayI needed a replacement since my Kobo Aura 2 died after taking an unexpected bath in condensation water. Yeah, I stupidly left it in a spot where room humidity became water and steadily dripped on it until I found it in a puddle. So, for a week, I tried going back to regular paperback books. Once you go ebook reader, you really cant go back. You miss all the extra features that you get accustomed to using. And the Libra 2 is a step up. As it is a little bigger, that means the print is a little bigger. That is so much easier on my old eyes. The edge that has the two physical buttons on it makes it easier to hold and even operate one-handed (I often snack while reading). It does also have two features that I doubt I will ever use. One is Overdrive. My library dropped that service in favor of a similar one long ago. So this software just takes up space for nothing. The other is the ability to play audiobooks if you have compatible headphones or speakers. I do own a few audiobooks, but it is just handier for me to play them on my home computer, where they reside. If I could make two suggestions to Kobo for the future: 1) Make library borrowing software optional. One should be able to visit the Kobo website and install it if needed. Software for similar services should also be available. 2) Create a text-to-speech feature. Give the user the option of selecting the gender, age, and accent of the voice, to make it more appropriate to the type of book being read. Since I tend to fall asleep while listening to stuff, a timer for it to auto stop would be nice. I am told that this reader is waterproof, so I hope to avoid a repeat of what cost me my Aura.

> 3 dayI have the first version of this eReader, which I love. But this new one is even better. First and foremost - - the backlight. Version one had inconsistent lighting. The left hand side of the screen was a little lighter than the rest of the screen. It wasnt a deal breaker, but it was annoying. Well thats gone now. The screen is perfectly and uniformly lit. Second, it seems like the text is even crisper than before. Maybe its the better consistency of the lighting, but this text just seems more clear. Third, they moved the power button. That makes more of a difference than I thought it would. The version one power button is a lousy button on the side that never quite felt right. And if you have a case on your reader, it made the power button almost inaccessible. With the power button on the back of the reader, its now easily reached, even with a case. Finally, the USB-C port. Nice touch. All in all, definitely a worthwhile purchase.
