I prefer to use natural oils on my skin rather than lotions or creams, but I had a hard time finding one that was heavy enough but absorbed well in the winter. I tried coconut oil for a long time but still found that it was a bit greasy after apply (even after I whipped it in my Kitchenaid). Enter this oil! Its that perfect consistency of creamy feeling but it sinks in quickly. Grapeseed or Sweet Almond oil I find are not rich enough for winter and they have a drier touch which is nice when its warmer out. So the Avocado is perfect when I want something richer, but still not feel like Im sticky or oily like I do with coconut oil. Highly recommend!

I use the avocado oil on my hair and face about once a month., I leave it on about 30 minutes and then shower and shampoo as regular,. It seems to leave my face softer and may be helping the very thin lines on my face (Im over 60). I think it is beneficial to my hair which is color treated and thinning. When this bottle is done, I plan to get another.

Good stuff for hair, but I prefer NOW almond oil since almond oil smells nicer and less rancid. Avocado oil, if fresh, is good for hair. Avocado oil gets rancid fast. We had to throw away 1/3 of the bottle, due to rancidity, even though its used daily on hair. NOT RECOMMEND if you wear latex gloves. I highly recommend for curly hair. I also use it on my skin and it hydrates without leaving my skin feeling greasy

Beauty secret must have. I add this to my moisturizing lotion after washing my face. Helps with moisture and evening skin tone. I also use this on my lips for moisture. No lip balm or Vaseline needed. Of course I use this in my masks and oil treatments. Lastly, I use this for sealing after I put leave in conditioner in my hair or daughter’s hair. This stuff has a multipurpose use and you will be amazed with the beauty usage.

For cosmetic use only. It has been bleached and the natural scent removed. It is a thicker oil perfect for hair and body. I use it in my whipped body butters and sometimes alone. Texture is nice on the skin and it isnt gritty. I highly recommend avocado oil for cosmetic purposes. I also recommend it for foods but this isnt a food grade oil as its been specifically processed for cosmetic use.

While I wish it were ORGANIC, this is a medium-weight oil that does the trick on dry skin. No real smell, and easy to apply. Wish the bottle was darker to protect the oil from light. Works great as a carrier oil for other scents (essential oils). The avocado has so many valuable traits, so this oil helps you get the healthy benefits easily.

For years I struggled with eczema which means my skin was extremely dry, cracking and itching. I have been healed from the eczema but I still have dry skin. I use the aveeno lotion which works well with my skin. Then I started using this avocado oil in combination with the Now Vegeyable glycerin and, Im telling you it has done wonders for my dry skin. My skin is softer and it does a great deal in keeping my skin moisturized. I really dont need to use lotion when I use this oil with a little glycerine. The only drawback with this oil is that, its heavy and the scent is not appealing.

This is my first time using Now Avocado Oil, and I am very impressed with the results. It feels great on my skin. It goes on smooth and is non-greasy. I use it by itself as a body oil, and I also blend my essential oils with it to make aromatherapy skin care products. I will purchase this product again. The price is affordable and perfect for my budget.
