NOW Solutions, Avocado Oil, 100% Pure Moisturizing Oil, Nutrient Rich and Hydrating, 16-Ounce

I am on my second bottle; the first bottle lasted about 2 months (and that is putting it on 2x per day). I have tried a bunch of oils at this point--- trying to find an all natural, hexane free oil and/or lotion for my skin to (hopefully) prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. I have tried sesame oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, and an oil from Weleda. For the price, you cannot beat the Avocado oil--- and so far so good--- at 8 months pregnant no stretch marks (which I am prone to; as I do have some stretch marks on my thighs from weight gains/loss over the years). I put it on in the morning after a shower, while my skin is still damp, and it soaks in relatively quickly for an oil. When you put it on dry skin it remains a bit oily for a while before sinking in.

I highly recommend for curly hair. I also use it on my skin and it hydrates without leaving my skin feeling greasy

This oil is so hydrating ! If you’re looking to treat your dry hair/scalp during the winter months use it as a pre shampoo treatment. I will update you guys after a few months

Good stuff for hair, but I prefer NOW almond oil since almond oil smells nicer and less rancid. Avocado oil, if fresh, is good for hair. Avocado oil gets rancid fast. We had to throw away 1/3 of the bottle, due to rancidity, even though its used daily on hair. NOT RECOMMEND if you wear latex gloves. Ok - So, in order to appreciate my EMPHATIC love of Avocado oil, you need to know that I am a skin-care-junkie. It all started when my mother introduced my 17 year old self to the magic of Salt scrubs. The way my skin looked and felt after only one use of the scrub, and I was hooked. I begin trying all manner of creams and lotions, from department store brands to the body shop. Through trial and error, I found my perfect arrangement of skincare products that would make my skin baby soft, and for 7 years, my system worked perfectly ... Until I got bit by the bug of conscious consumption. All those products I swore by? Tossed out of the window because they all were rich in harmful ingredients. Around this time, I moved back to the Midwest (Michigan) and fumbled through natural skin care regimen. It was such a challenging situation because I had to get used to the fact that many natural products were not as moisturizing as the chemical based products. (For my melanated love bugs, this translates to ASH and NO ONE has any time for that! ). Then:: AVOCADO OIL. It was the missing ingredient to my natural skin care regimen! It absorbs BEAUTIFULLY into the skin in less than 5 minutes and, with continued use deposits deep moisture to skin giving the organ a GREAT LUMINOSITY. My Process for maximizing moisture esp. during winter months: After bathing, I layer the oil on top of my lotion. For an added boost of moisture, spray a bit of Rose Water mixed with Glycerin on your clean, towel dried skin first. Allow rose water to air dry, then layer Lotion. Top lotion with Avocado oil. The Oleic acid in Avocado oil is perfect for skin that is thirsty and dry (Coconut Oil is best for oily skin as it has linoleic acid which delivers light moisturizing properties). YOUR BODY /SKIN WILL GREATLY APPRECIATE THIS.

Now Foods does it again! This product is wonderful! I make a ton of DIY bath and beauty products at home. Avocado oil is a staple in many of the recipes that I make. This is a wonderful oil to add to your favorite recipes. Avocado oil is loaded in antioxidants that are great for your hair and skin. It also contains many vitamins and rich omega 3. It works great alone as a nighttime oil for around your eyes and over those fine lines and wrinkles. It’s also suitable for all skin types so everyone can benefit for this oil.

I apply this liberally after showering to moisturize my entire body. I live in a very cold climate and usually during winter nothing keeps my skin soft and comfortable, but this does. I like it because it has no scent, so I add a few drops of essential oil for a different fragrance every day, and surprisingly if you let it be a few minutes before dressing, it absorbs into the skin and doesnt feel oily or damp like creams can. A bottle lasts about 9 months, so it is a great value. I also put a little it into a weekly deep conditioning hair masque that contains all kinds of oils and things and it helps keep my hair soft and shiny.

I use the avocado oil on my hair and face about once a month., I leave it on about 30 minutes and then shower and shampoo as regular,. It seems to leave my face softer and may be helping the very thin lines on my face (Im over 60). I think it is beneficial to my hair which is color treated and thinning. When this bottle is done, I plan to get another.

First order was damaged upon delivery, so I contacted seller and they responded quick. Sent a new one packaging was way better then the first time.
