Avocado oil is my favorite oil for massage and lubrication. You dont have to use very much. A little goes a long way. I also like how it absorbs nicely on the skin. I have been disappointed with almond oil, olive oil, and coconut oil. They do not absorb, just sitting on the surface of the skin. I know oil will make your skin oily, but those oils are just ridiculous, just making your skin feel super oily and not absorbing. Avocado oil, for the skin, is the best in my opinion. Now brand avocado oil is top quality and food grade. I will keep buying from them.

For years I struggled with eczema which means my skin was extremely dry, cracking and itching. I have been healed from the eczema but I still have dry skin. I use the aveeno lotion which works well with my skin. Then I started using this avocado oil in combination with the Now Vegeyable glycerin and, Im telling you it has done wonders for my dry skin. My skin is softer and it does a great deal in keeping my skin moisturized. I really dont need to use lotion when I use this oil with a little glycerine. The only drawback with this oil is that, its heavy and the scent is not appealing.

I use this for my very dry, high porosity, curly 3c-4a hair. Im using it for the LCO method and its really worked out for me. The oil feels a bit thick but it goes on evenly and doesnt weigh down my hair. My hair definitely feels softer and it gives it a nice sheen.

I am on my second bottle; the first bottle lasted about 2 months (and that is putting it on 2x per day). I have tried a bunch of oils at this point--- trying to find an all natural, hexane free oil and/or lotion for my skin to (hopefully) prevent stretch marks during pregnancy. I have tried sesame oil, coconut oil, sweet almond oil, jojoba oil, and an oil from Weleda. For the price, you cannot beat the Avocado oil--- and so far so good--- at 8 months pregnant no stretch marks (which I am prone to; as I do have some stretch marks on my thighs from weight gains/loss over the years). I put it on in the morning after a shower, while my skin is still damp, and it soaks in relatively quickly for an oil. When you put it on dry skin it remains a bit oily for a while before sinking in.

This avocado oil is so incredibly wonderful ... I purchased three, one to cook with, the other as body oil for myself and the third as a oil for my infant great-grandson who has terrible eczema... The body oil has left my dry rough skin so soft and smooth and doesnt leave an oily film on my body and my grandsons eczema is almost gone. I cant speak highly enough of this product

It has no scent which I love. I don’t feel particularly moisturized afterward. I still get an ashiness on my skin after it has absorbed. I will still recommend to anyone for elasticity. I used it when I was pregnant and got zero stretch marks, even before my belly got big because I read of its elasticity benefits. I continue to use it a few times a week for the elasticity benefits

I have VERY sensitive skin and this is the very best oil I have ever found for skin and hair. Super moisturising and goes right into my skin. Does not clog pores and has no smell at all. Makes my skin glow like magic. I adore this oil!!!!!

I prefer to use natural oils on my skin rather than lotions or creams, but I had a hard time finding one that was heavy enough but absorbed well in the winter. I tried coconut oil for a long time but still found that it was a bit greasy after apply (even after I whipped it in my Kitchenaid). Enter this oil! Its that perfect consistency of creamy feeling but it sinks in quickly. Grapeseed or Sweet Almond oil I find are not rich enough for winter and they have a drier touch which is nice when its warmer out. So the Avocado is perfect when I want something richer, but still not feel like Im sticky or oily like I do with coconut oil. Highly recommend!

Ive been a semi happy user of almond oil for my 4bc natural hair. I alternated with castor oil but castor tends to be a bit too thick, has an unpleasant smell and it makes me break out. Id heard good things about avocado oil but I feel like my hair needs an oil with a fattier texture. Avocado oil wasnt going to be worth trying if it was going to be similar to or lighter than almond oil. My research online was inconclusive. When I got a chance to try it the difference was very noticeable to me. Almond oil has more of an essential fatty acid feel to it which is right up my alley. Not so much heavier/thicker as it is denser. It has barely any scent at all and is very libricating. When it came time to purchase my own bottle I went with Now Solutions which is a tried true trusted brand. It is really rich and I wish Id tried it a long time ago. I still like almond oil but I definitely prefer avocado oil to it. Whichever one you prefer you cant go wrong with Now Solutions brand. New staple.

100% Pure Avocado Oil is a nutrient-rich vegetable oil. Heavy in texture, avocado oil helps to keep skin supple, while thoroughly moisturizing and softening stubborn, dry or rough skin. When used as a massage oil, it’s soft, soothing, and leaves no greasy residue. NOW® Solutions products are not tested on animals. Clear bottle contains UV light protectant.
