I prefer to use natural oils on my skin rather than lotions or creams, but I had a hard time finding one that was heavy enough but absorbed well in the winter. I tried coconut oil for a long time but still found that it was a bit greasy after apply (even after I whipped it in my Kitchenaid). Enter this oil! Its that perfect consistency of creamy feeling but it sinks in quickly. Grapeseed or Sweet Almond oil I find are not rich enough for winter and they have a drier touch which is nice when its warmer out. So the Avocado is perfect when I want something richer, but still not feel like Im sticky or oily like I do with coconut oil. Highly recommend!

I bought this originally for my skin but I found it was too oily and I didnt like it so I stared to use it on my hair &I love it! This is my second bottle bought & it works wonders. My hair is dry, super frizzy (I have curly hair) & it just helps with the frizzyness! I use it everyday after I shower. Its a life saver. I recommend for people with frizzy dry hair. I also pair it with a leave in conditioner.

Ive been a semi happy user of almond oil for my 4bc natural hair. I alternated with castor oil but castor tends to be a bit too thick, has an unpleasant smell and it makes me break out. Id heard good things about avocado oil but I feel like my hair needs an oil with a fattier texture. Avocado oil wasnt going to be worth trying if it was going to be similar to or lighter than almond oil. My research online was inconclusive. When I got a chance to try it the difference was very noticeable to me. Almond oil has more of an essential fatty acid feel to it which is right up my alley. Not so much heavier/thicker as it is denser. It has barely any scent at all and is very libricating. When it came time to purchase my own bottle I went with Now Solutions which is a tried true trusted brand. It is really rich and I wish Id tried it a long time ago. I still like almond oil but I definitely prefer avocado oil to it. Whichever one you prefer you cant go wrong with Now Solutions brand. New staple.

Great, multipurpose oil. I originally bought it as an ingredient for hair masks, but ended up also using it on my body since you get a lot of product. This is definitely a necessity for the winter months if you are averse to scaly skin. Mixes well with other lotions, which is ideal if you hate the earthy smell like I do (smells like freshly sliced avocado). Definitely a bit messy given the cap situation; oftentimes the oil will drip down the bottle after you pour some out and set it back down.

For cosmetic use only. It has been bleached and the natural scent removed. It is a thicker oil perfect for hair and body. I use it in my whipped body butters and sometimes alone. Texture is nice on the skin and it isnt gritty. I highly recommend avocado oil for cosmetic purposes. I also recommend it for foods but this isnt a food grade oil as its been specifically processed for cosmetic use.

First order was damaged upon delivery, so I contacted seller and they responded quick. Sent a new one packaging was way better then the first time.

This is great stuff. I use it from head to toe as a moisturizer. I even use it in my homemade butters and balms. It really has no scent which is good for when I want to add my own.
