Roxio Easy VHS to DVD for Mac | VHS, Hi8, V8 Video to DVD or Digital Converter [Mac Disc]

I am very happy with this purchase. It connected and installed easily and I was able to start capturing those precious home videos from VHS tapes with ease. I am sharing the digitized videos with family via cloud storage, so this is really helping us stay hunkered down during the Cocid-19 crisis.

Headline says it all. Easy to setup and use with Mojave 10.10.5. Saves to .mov format. Decent quality, considering the source technology. Dont buy the Roxio VHS to DVD for video capture if you intend to use with Catalina, at least at this point in time (May 20).

This Roxio Tape to DVD transfer device works right out of the box. I found this easy to use and reliable. I like the easy to use software interface it comes with. I hope this helps. Good luck with your project.

My experience is the video doesn’t stay synchronized when playing it back.

Product is as expected, it did take an update when I plugged it in and then it started working. Before that it was not wanting to work. Love the fact that I can capture the movies now and use them in iMovie!

The product is wonderful. But I had a problem. The CD key did not work and I had to write an email to Roxio to request support. They sent me a new CD key to register my product. I never knew what happened. But it is working.

Needed app for my new iMac to copy camcorder videos to dvd it takes an extra step due to writing the camcorder file to my hard drive. Then I need to use an app named Express Burn to write the file from my hard drive to the dvd. Before I used Instant DVD on my Windows laptop and it wrote the camcorder file directly to the dvd in one step. Roxio takes two steps but outside of that it works as advertised.

Works as advertised, but haven’t tried the dvd creator program.

Concept is great. I havent had the dropped video frame issue, but I do have the NO sound issue - over and over. I found that if you allow any other sound to be issued on the computer, it seems to shut off audio from the VHS player during capture. I have to restart my Mac to get audio again. Lots of wasted time. I read on another blog that if you unplug the cable going into the Mac USD before you start the Roxio software, this will fix it. I havent tried yet. FIX THE SOFTWARE!!!

The directions are not that great at all. Should give it only 3 starts for directions.
