> 3 dayVery good product. I am loading all the Super 8 recordings taken years ago with my now old analog camcorder. The quality of both, image and sound is excellent. I have just a little problem. Files of converted videos are in MPG format that is no compatible with Macs iMovie. The software Easy VHS to DVD Capture that comes with the product, convert automatically the files to be read for iMovie, but this operation make a duplicate of every video with different format occupying a lot of space in the hard drive.

> 3 dayEasy setup and has versatile software. Video capture is very poor, multi colored vertical interference on right extending about 15% in to frame. Random horizontal static through out capture. Sound captured is also very low volume. Would require additional processing to restore sound levels. Source used was home movies on VHC-C. Quality was the same using 3 different devices and multiple cables ( 2 VCR players and original camera used to take videos). I had originally tried a V-Top unit by Fly Kan and while their captured video and sound was excellent the device failed after only about 10 minutes. I thought that Roxio would be more dependable, and it was, But captured video is useless. I suspect all of these video capture devices use about the same chips so quality will just be random. Ill try another V-Top.

> 3 dayI bought this to get our family videos onto my computer. It is very easy to use and worked perfectly. Made transferring all my videos seamless. I struggled at first but only because the VCR I was using was junk, but it had nothing to do with this product. If its not working for you try a different VCR.

> 3 dayWorked well. I did the hi8 conversion using my camera to play the tape. Transfers well and was easy to write the dvd. I then tested the dvd in my DVD player and worked great.

> 3 dayI am in the process of digitizing old VHS to computer. It comes with software on DVD, however our computer doesnt have a DVD drive. Tech support was easy to contact and provided me with a link to access software via email. I am having a lot of fun editing downloaded VHS into short iMovies!

> 3 dayI liked the product. it did as expected, but here was a problem synchronizing audio & video. I had to record on a medium quality setting rather than high to solve the problem. Dont expect the results from VHF tape to look good on a HD TV, unless you use a movie setting & adjust the TVs video quality down by using a sharpness adjustment.

> 3 dayNeeded app for my new iMac to copy camcorder videos to dvd it takes an extra step due to writing the camcorder file to my hard drive. Then I need to use an app named Express Burn to write the file from my hard drive to the dvd. Before I used Instant DVD on my Windows laptop and it wrote the camcorder file directly to the dvd in one step. Roxio takes two steps but outside of that it works as advertised.

> 3 dayThe software was pretty easy to use, and I liked that you could trim clips within the program. I used the adapter with both an old camcorder and a VCR to convert various tapes. It was a slow process because the tape has to play through but I could start it and walk away, and it would do its thing. Maybe just one note, check the video quality settings when recording - it was set to record a VHS tape in HD, better for professional tapes but our home movies were like 360p with a massive file size. I just reduced them in QuickTime after but found that mildly amusing.

> 3 dayI’m having a difficult time making the software work. I need to be able to load the VHS video to my MacBook Pro, which I was able to do. However I have two problems, when I run the video on my computer the movie plays with a Play Directive in the upper left part of the screen that says play with some kind of icon. Also I’m unable to transfer the video to a DVD. I assumed when the software says Roxio easy VHS to DVD it means I can transfer the video from my computer to a dvd.
