SAMSUNG 860 QVO 1TB Solid State Drive (MZ-76Q1T0B/AM) V-NAND, SATA 6Gb/s, Quality and Value Optimized SSD

Pretty straight forward. Easily installed and does what I got it to do, add space.

Arrived promptly. Followed an online guide for cloning my old boot drive. Only hangup was Windows taking forever to update once I slaved the new drive. (Probably 20 minutes to boot up even after it said 100% complete.) Guide said to expect the cloning process to take 3 hours, but copying 112 GB took less than 30 mins even while I was watching online videos. Swapped out drives and new one booted up just fine. Easiest transition to a new boot drive of my entire life. My only tiny complaint is that the instruction manual was taped shut. Weird.

Ton of storage for the money. Don’t forget a cord.

This drive was used to replace a old spining hard drive that was slow. The Samsung clone software worked the first time and the new drive is running very well. I am impressed with the cloning process as I am having a huge problem cloning to a western digital.

1tb of ssd storage whats not to like and it works fine with my PC, windows install migrated fine and everything is a-ok.

I learn the hard way that this drive will write at 500mb/sec for about 70GB (4TB Version), then it goes to a crawl of 140MB/sec ! I really wish they would have shown this clearly in their product description ! Because of this I give 1 star ! It took close to 8 hour to copy my content from Samsung SSD 860 EVO Pro 4TB to this drive instead a little bit over 2 hours if I went with the regular EVO drive ! This drive need to be a lot cheaper with 140MB/sec write speed notice to be worth buying in my view.

Converted my storage to ssd for the first time. Bang for buck one of the cheapest upgrades with most return on your money!
