SAMSUNG 860 QVO 1TB Solid State Drive (MZ-76Q1T0B/AM) V-NAND, SATA 6Gb/s, Quality and Value Optimized SSD

I got this a few months ago to use with my ps4 and it works just great, way faster that a its normal HDD. Too easy to connect (but a bit difficult to set it up with the software on my ps4 pro) you need to download a couple thing from sony (I recomend to have a look ok a youtube video to lear how to do it) Price 9/10 (Is getting cheaper with the time) Quality 10/10 Samsung always give you the best quality ! Go for the one with 2tb the new games needs a insane amount of space on your SSD

Product was and still is dead on arrival. Have done every troubleshooting step known to man but cannot get Windows or the BIOS to recognize the hard drive. Delayed my build a couple days until I could order a new ssd. Went with Western Digital M.2 and it worked immediately. Samsung disappointed me, won’t purchase any more Samsung components for PC.

I swapped my relatively new WD Blue 1Tb HDD with Samsung 860 QVO 1 TB and noticed huge improvements. My laptop runs on i7 8th gen, 8 GB RAM, and dedicated AMD graphics and it used to take roughly a minute to boot-up, and games ran at 30-50 FPS. I upgraded to Samsung QVO and threw in an additional 16 GB Hyper X 2666 RAM and now the boot-up time is less than 10 seconds, and I get anywhere between 100-160 FPS depending on the game and graphic settings. Also, The read and write speeds shoot up when you employ the RAPID mode, otherwise it is usually around 500-500 Mbps.

Love these hard drives, and Ill continue to buy Samsung products for obvious reasons. That being said, dont forget to ensure you have a spare 6G SATA cable on hand to install this bad boy. Also make sure that your motherboard has enough free SATA ports!

a very good option to upgrade from magnetic disk. Not too expensive and very very easy to install. My system performance has sky rocketted. A must buy

This thing has been the true hail Mary and bringing my old laptop back to life. Installation was a breeze and thank goodness for Samsung providing free hard drive cloning software on their website. An absolute recommend for anyone looking to breathe some life back into old equipment or gain some better performance in a gaming setup.

Easy to use and Install

It’s a tad pricy so I keep track on pcpartpicker.com whenever part prices drop. Eventually came to a good price and quickly ordered it. Came in the mail and easily installed it on my custom computer with a i3 8th gen Intel processor and gtx 1060, worth the money for a super fast SSD, especially when you have so many documents, photos and videos.

I swapped this into my Xbox One X today using Xfix’s guide. The process was straight forward and fairly easy to do. The SSD drive loads Division 2 impressively fast vs the stock internal and external drives. I have also noticed faster boot times from a cold boot. I’m probably going to buy another one do these for my PC as a second game drive.
