Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I brought it because of the reviews that said it was great. You do have to download the clone software from Samsung but after the download I was able to clone my old to this one in a few minutes. I just tried the same clone with another manufacturer and their SSD and that took over two hours. It was a half the size of this 1TB and a faster computer. So I plan to upgrade this one with a 2TB. Good product

This is the second time to buy Samsung SSD i have had the previous version 850 Evo and it never failed me and this is the newer version and still kicking ASS :D :D

I bought a new Dell 8th gen i3 laptop for a great price. The only problem with the laptop was the slow 5600rpm drive. The laptop from day 1 slow to boot and felt sluggish and slow. A look at the Task Manager would reveal the hard dive running 100% almost 100% of the time so I picked up this Samsung 500gb SSD. Install was easy and everything worked perfectly loading the Dell factory image I created on USB. The laptop now runs as I had hoped, boots within seconds and is extremely responsive. Highly recommend this drive to upgrade a slow hard drive in an otherwise good running laptop.

I ordered this to install in my PS4 and after a couple months I don’t think I would order any other product as this does it’s job very well in speeding up the entire process of gaming.

My 7 year old laptop runs better than when it was new, w/ bootup going from 4-1/2 min to 38 seconds. It took 3-1/2 hours to clone my hard drive to this one, using Samsung Data Migration. It seemed to hang at 99%, but, after 10 min, while I researched what to do, the cloning completed. This SSD is thinner than my old hard drive, so I just put some cardboard under this one to fill that gap. Im extremely satisfied with this drive, and I do recommend it, especially if your computer is running slow.

It took me only a few minutes to install this drive into my desk top computer. Used in a desk top with a 3.5 drive, you will need a bracket. The data migration software made cloning my old drive very quick and easy. This drive has no moving parts so its completely silent. Runs cool and blazing fast. Windows 7 boots up in about 5 seconds and start up programs load instantly. There is no software disk with this drive. You can easily download the migration software and the Samsung Magician software from the Samsung website. The installation and use manuals are not very helpful but they give bulleted pointers that are good to know. Read the manuals before you install the software. Only time will tell if this drive can compete against 60 years of hard drive technology but so far, its a clear winner.

After three months using it it make me ask why I waited so long to change my HD for this SSD. There is no comparison in booting time. No need to used hibernate to avoid waiting for system to boot.

I put this into my high-powered pc that was nonetheless painfully slow. After the simple install my computer runs better than it ever has. Boot up went from 5 minutes to 35 seconds! I totally recommend. Get it and be happy.

SS drive was easy to set up. Files from older SSD transferred flawlessly to the new drive. No issues with it all. I have always found Samsung to work well with me if problems arise and few do. SSdrives are so much faster and quieter.
