Samsung SSD 860 EVO 1TB 2.5 Inch SATA III Internal SSD (MZ-76E1T0B/AM)

I must have installed well over a couple dozen of these in peoples laptops, mostly Macbooks 2010-2012. If you really want to make a difference in your laptop install one of these and its like night and day vs. the older mechanical hard drives. You can do either a Time Machine backup or Windows backup but if you want the best bang for your buck, back up all your files and do a clean install of either the OSX or Windows and its like night and day for performance. Ive purchased many of these. I absolutely a huge fan. The read/write speeds are amazing. I have yet to have an issue with one. Additionally if you download Samsung magician you can see greater speeds with a press of a button

Loads games fast. Put it in mypspro and everything is how it should be. Fast startup, fast loads, easy install. I’d say a must for anyone that’s into gaming. Really wakes up the playstation

This is my 4th one and love these SSDs I will never have another computer without one. Definitely speed things up and seems more durable than the traditional HDD. Lower power consumption and faster, more reliable. Isnt that what technology is supposed to be.

Bought for my PS4. Easy to install. Noticeable speed increase.

This drive sped my kid’s 2006 HP compaq 6000 pro mt up to 2020 speeds! I had to wait 10 minutes for Windows 10 to boot up and become usable, and another 5 minutes for the kid’s Launch Box (retro console game emulation) program to start up. It was so painful. Now, Windows starts up in 1 minute, and launch box starts in 10 seconds! Not to mention the benchmarks! The SSD is doing 280MB/s while the old hard drive is getting 66MB/s transfer rate. Now wonder their computer was slow! Samsung has a great Disk Migration/Cloning application on their website. Funny they don’t mention it in the manual that comes with the drive. It only took 2 hours to clone 92 GB of data including the OS. Samsung Magician is also great for getting the benchmarks. I want another one of these for my computer!

Works like a charm

I am not a fan of samsung products. But This item has an great performance. It has been 1 year since i obtained, havent faced any problem.

Installed & copied over from my current HDD and was up and running in about 2 hours. I used a free disk copy software program which worked like a charm.
