> 3 dayAs others have mentioned, while this is a perfectly fine drive, it does not operate at the advertised speeds. Thats a bit disappointing.

> 3 dayThis has been a great little portable drive for me. I did not experience any of the issues described by others.

> 3 dayI used this drive to transfer the contents of my Xbox One X to my new Xbox Series X. The transfer speeds were awesome. I was getting around 1 Gbps speeds when writing to the drive and copying from the Xbox One and then 2 Gbps speeds when reading from the drive and writing to the Xbox Series X. I almost filled the thing as I had almost 2TB of data to transfer so no issues on capacity. This thing is super fast and Im very happy with it.

Greater than one weekI have several T7 drives now. These are essential computer components. Some of them have permanent jobs while others are floating drives used for different things at different times. They make great boot drives if you need to test various versions of operating systems. I boot my Mac into Windows and my Windows computers into other versions of Windows. The speed is exactly what the manufacturer promises (around 1 GB/sec). You cant do much better than that with USB 3.2. If you spend twice as much you can get a bit more performance but its not worth it in my opinion for an external drive. The T7 drives get warm but not hot to the touch with frequent use.
