> 3 dayThis Rocket Deluxe Pro seriously blows the competition out the water. If you’re in the market for a “good vacuum” you should read this review to help make your decision. I’ve owned this for a couple weeks now and would like to share an honest opinion about this vacuum. I would like to note that we have hard flooring and pets that shed nonstop. I needed something that would not scratch my vinyl flooring and that could get in tricky spots and pick up massive amounts of pet hair. This thing has done all of this wonderfully, and is exceeding all of my expectations over the past couple weeks that I’ve had it. Some feature that I REALLY like about it: - The headlights as they show hair that I didn’t even previously see and they allow me to vacuum rooms in the dark when I want to just quickly hit an area. I didn’t think lights mattered but they really are nice to have. - The head is extremely easy to move around. It has a pivot point where it swivels around things very easily. I was very impressed with how easy this is to maneuver and all the places I could now get with it. One cool thing is that you can almost lay it completely down (to get under things) and the base vacuum part doesn’t come off the ground at all enabling you to get under your entertainment center, bed, couch, etc. - It literally feels great in my hand while vacuuming. It feels like a nice high quality sturdy vacuum and it’s an enjoyable experience using it. I haven’t had this out of a vacuum in years and it’s a great feeling to actually enjoy vacuuming again since I have to do it every day with my pets. I did a lot of research into vacuums prior to buying this and it was really hard to pick out one that I thought would be the best for me because you can only tell so much by reading about them and you just never know until you try it. Well I assure you that I made the absolute best choice buying this and I would definitely recommend trying this one. You can always send it back through Kohl’s or something if you don’t like it but I freakin love this thing (so much that I made me want to write a review lol.) You will not be disappointed in this vacuum cleaner. Last thing to note is some people complain because it doesn’t stay upright on its own (like when you’re done using it for a moment) but its not been an issue for us at all. To store it we put it in a jacket closet. To stand it up, the handle part can actually be sat on a counter and it’ll hold the whole thing upright, or you can stand it up against a wall. Just saying this because it hasn’t been an issue at all and don’t let that discourage you.

> 3 day* I paid full price for this product. Im very demanding of my vacuums. I have 2 large high-shedding dogs and 2 cats, and I expect a vacuum to be able to handle all that comes with that. I had a Dyson when my house was wall-to-wall carpets, so my standards are high. Now my house is all hardwood and ceramic tile, which led me to this. This little Shark handles everything with flying colors: large amounts of pet hair, cat litter, dirt, dust, crumbs, and whatever else ends up on the floor courtesy of the critters. It cleans floors, corners and edges, steps, furniture, behind/under furniture, pet beds, drapes and curtains, and pretty much anything else that you would want to vacuum. The Sharks insane flexibility is due to the fact that its basically a high-powered dust buster with numerous interchangeable attachments. You can attach a cleaning head directly to the dust buster for close-up, handheld use, attach a cleaning head to the wand and the wand to the dust buster to clean floors and drapes, or attach a cleaning head to the flexible hose for more maneuverable cleaning. For floor cleaning you get a spinning brush head and a flat head with a detachable machine-washable microfiber cloth specially for hardwood floors. You also get a smaller spinning brush head for furniture, steps, etc, an edge tool, and a small flat tool for more delicate cleaning. Note that the spinning heads are not powered, they spin from the suction of the dust buster, but the suction power is still very good. Everything clicks easily together and have release buttons to take apart again - quick and simple. The dust bin is a good size, I can do a couple rooms before having to empty it. The cord is very long, so you can easily do a staircase, or go from room to room without having to move the plug every time. The floor cleaning heads pivot from side to side easily with a flick of the wrist for maximum maneuverability. Even the headlights, which I always thought were mostly gimmicky, actually work, lighting up dust and dirt that is invisible on my dark hardwood floors even with plenty of light in the room. A few minor negatives, which are not design flaws but simply consequences of the design to be aware of: - When using as a vacuum, it is top-heavy because the motor and dust bin are at the top. That said, its not actually heavy, its just that all the weight is in the top. This also means that it cant stand on its own, it has be leaned against a wall. Fortunately there are little rubber pads on the back of both the unit and the dust bin, so once its propped against the wall it doesnt fall over. It also comes with a wall mount if youre worried about kids or pets knocking it over. - There isnt space to store the attachments on the unit itself. They come with a convenient storage bag, but you have to carry them with you or go through rooms multiple times with different attachment configurations based on whatever youre cleaning. This is a minor inconvenience, but it keeps the unit light and slim. Overall Im very happy with the performance and versatility of this little vacuum.

> 3 day2 Great Danes that shed like you wouldn’t know… does a fantastic job getting all the hair and dust. Also gets all my cat litter my cat drags out the box! Highly recommend - I hate having to deal with the wire but I’m sure battery ones wouldn’t work as good as this one does!! 10/10 recommend

> 3 dayAs a professional house cleaner, I was looking for a lightweight easily portable vacuum to replace the Oreck handheld makeshift backpack I had been using. This shark vacuum is much better. For the sake of comparing similar items(oreck handheld aside), I would like to compare it to the Dyson Animal v6 model (I have used several times at a client house). The Shark has a cord. Its cord is the perfect length for a cord. I have used it in multiple houses and it doesnt get tangled, yet I dont have to keep unplugging and plugging it back in because it cant reach another room. The Dyson is wonderfully cordless and powerful. Dyson also has a battery life of maybe 20 min on the max setting before needing to be recharged, 30 or so if its on the normal setting. This shark has all the maneuverability of the dyson, maybe even better. It fits between all the chair legs I can find and has a low enough profile to slip under a lot of furniture. Also love the lights on the shark, they let you know where the dirt and hair is and you can see it lift up, and there are lights on the smaller handheld part too! Switching from the floor sweeper to the long nozzle to get into corners and cracks couldnt be easier, it can be done with a toe touch and pulled off single handedly (good design). The dyson animal cannot do that. The dust canister on the shark holds a lot and can be emptied and cleaned (the manual says to wash the filters monthly, it has washable filters, yay!) The dust canister on the dyson is awkward to empty and damn near impossible to clean, and there are hairs that always get caught up by the mesh that you cant get to by just emptying it, you have to pry the whole thing open with a tool and pray to the dyson gods that you wont break the thing while youre simply trying to clean it. The biggest complaint that I have about the shark is that it is top heavy. You cannot simply stand it up in the middle of a room, it must be laid down or propped carefully against a wall. It is not as lightweight as I had hoped, but considering the price tag, Im giving it a pass. Lightweight? Yes, but its not the best gift for granny as it is top heavy and a little clunky. Im 54 tall and the shark feels a little too tall for me, but that might just be a personal preference. I would recommend the shark for anyone who wants a versatile vacuum that is easy to use and affordable, but dont expect featherweight. It goes from hard floors to rugs and carpet with ease. Its good with pet hair, human hair, and cat litter. I still do not think it is the ultimate portable vac for professional house cleaners, but for regular house cleaning, this is a great machine. The dyson is for a wealthy grandma with one cat who vacuums every day and has a service center or grandchild that will clean it once in a while.

Greater than one weekReplaced an older Dyson that finally quit. Unbelievable how much pet hair and other debris this pulled out comparatively. Knap on the carpet looks better than it has in years. Super light weight and easily goes under furniture and beds.

> 3 dayfunny story,, kid has two dogs, his wife always sick,, he has a bigger vacuum,, i bought him this because I bought one for my house, one for my rabbit kid,, who loves it,, m y son hates this, cuz he has to empty it three times in his 1200 foot house, ,cuz it picked up dirt his other vacuum didnt,, we had a bissell bagged and had vacuumed the house and then used this,, was amazing,,,, I will say making sure your foam is clean is a pain, but a few minutes to clean or rotate with new hepa foam still beats having hair, and you can put the head on the motor and clean your couch, stairs etd..

> 3 dayWould have given this one 5 stars if it was able to stay standing up. Its too heavy and has to be laid down everytime you use it. The suction is amazing, one of the best vacuums we have owned for suction. Just have to lay it down everytime you stop for anything.

Greater than one weekI would like it if it came with the hand tools and to extra power head. the power cord is shorter than the one the original one we had.
