> 24 hourI just recommended this vacuum for the umpteenth time (to our company owner, for our office and because hes interested in a new vacuum for his home). Since I love it so much, I guess I should take a couple minutes to review it. I am not a domestic diva by any means. So its a big deal that I love this machine. I decided against a cordless model since cordless always means a big heavy battery pack, and this has a long enough cord that it doesnt have to constantly be plugged and unplugged. Its not heavy but the suction is great. In fact, if you have lightweight area rugs, be careful because it can grab them pretty easily. The motor head has a light, which helps tremendously, and it swivels and lays flat making it easy to get around and under furniture and other obstacles. It also seems to vacuum my vinyl floor pretty well. Someone mentioned that its too loud but it doesnt seem any different than any other vacuum Ive used, so I guess the noise level depends on what youre comparing it to. When you dont need the motor head, you just step on a lever and it comes off, leaving you with a handheld vacuum that can reach the cobwebs in the corner of ceilings (depending on your ceiling height). If you want an even more compact vacuum for vacuuming stairs or your car interior, its easy to remove the stick portion. Ordinarily switching out a lot of parts makes it a cumbersome affair but its easy with this vacuum, and just as easy to click the parts back on. I bought this model earlier in 2022 but I see it has been upgraded since then, so the attachments store on the body. That addresses one of 2 issues I had with this. The other issue is that you cant leave it upright--I have to rest it against the molding of a doorway or a piece of furniture. It really hasnt been a problem but I thought it was worth mentioning. I do not have a pet so I cant comment on pet hair, but I shed a lot of hair myself and it seems to pick it up fine. It does have a bagless cup that I empty after each vacuuming session. Overall, I highly recommend this model and look forward to having one in our office to get all the paper scraps, etc. on my office carpet that the cleaning crew doesnt get to. Best vacuum Ive ever had and the only one I have ever loved (probably the only cleaning tool I have ever loved, in fact). No regrets at all. Thanks to Shark for a well-designed machine!

> 24 hourI bought this as a replacement for an aging canister vac. The fundamental design concept of this Shark vacuum is a good one, but the practical details need some work. First the good. The motor, filters, dust collector, and switch are all incorporated in a compact unit in the top, handle part of this vacuum. In most applications the handle unit will be supported by the extension tube and an accessory resting on the floor, so it is not too heavy. The dust collector has a pretty good capacity and will likely get through an average-size house before it needs emptying. The collector itself is well-designed. It can be emptied while still in the handle unit if you happen to be near a trash can, or it can be removed from the unit for easy transport to a trash can. The dirt comes out easily, with no need for shaking and banging and thereby raising big clouds of dust. The cord is long, which allows for a good range without switching outlets. On the other hand, the cord is long, which can cause some inconvenience with wrangling and tangling. It winds up on two holders, and a neat design feature allows you to swing one of the holders down to remove the whole cord without unwinding it one coil at a time. Power and suction seem pretty good, and the LED lights are surprisingly bright and useful. The turning/swivel mechanism works well. And now for the nitpicking. The business end of a vacuum is where the suction meets the dirt, and it is here where the HV322 could use some refinement. I have mostly hardwood floors, so I figured the Dust-Away hard floor attachment would be my most-used accessory. It is like a combination of a Swiffer and a typical floor brush. However, it has two little plastic wheels on it that rub along the floor, making noise and feeling like they are scraping the floor. In addition, it is about three times bigger than a standard canister floor brush, making it harder to move and to get in all the nooks and crannies. Finally, after using it I feel like I have to take it off and vacuum off the dust that accumulates on the microfiber pad. The motorized carpet attachment seems to work pretty well, with a two-speed brush for low or deep pile carpet. It can also be used on hard floors, but with pretty much the same caveats about size and noise. There is a combination crevice tool/dust brush, which seems like a clever idea but in practice is not so good. The catch that lets the dust brush move keeps pinching me, it is too long overall for easy dusting, and it has cheap flimsy plastic bristles. There is also a motorized pet brush that works pretty well. I dont have dogs or much upholstery, but it did a good job in my car, with a swivel that lets the brush adjust to the surface. I thought I could fix the shortcomings by buying a floor brush and dusting brush. But, it turns out the tube diameters used on the Shark Rocket are not the standard 1 1/4 used by most other brands. With much measuring and analyzing of specs, I finally found an adapter

> 24 hourWe waited a whole year to write our review to see if this Shark really is what they say. After a year it is still a wonderful vacuum and if you empty it and clean the filters when you are supposed to I think it will last a long time. My neighbor has a similar style Shark she said for four years now and she still likes it and approves of it. Take care of it and it will work good and last a good while. Thank you.

> 24 hourOnly used on laminated floors and a large area carpet, Id say it works absolutely fine. Doesnt have the suction like my old Kenmore canister but it serves its purpose just fine. It didnt cost an arm and a leg so if I have to replace in 5 years so be it. Would I buy again, probably unless I ended up with carpet throughout our house, then Id bite the bullet and spend the money for a higher end quality vacuum.

> 24 hourUpdate: Just wanted to mention that after using this vacuum for a while, weve now ordered a second one to give to one of our friends as a Christmas gift...we like it that much. Great little vacuum cleaner! Original review here: We have a large, two-story house and wanted a compact vacuum cleaner to keep on the bottom floors, more for touch-ups than anything else. So, when this product became available via the Amazon Vine program, I decided to give it a try. This vacuum cleaner really is an engineering marvel. It is very powerful, yet feels lightweight in the hand. We have ended up not just using it for the touch-up work I mentioned, but it is actually our main house vacuum now. It might be worth noting that we have a cat, so something with power is definitely a feature we need to get rid of the ever-shedding cat hair around our place. Here are some key things to note about it: It comes with quite a few attachments, including a powered carpet cleaning head, a mini motorized brush to pull pet hair out of difficult areas, a crevice tool, a hardwood floor attachment that includes a washable pad (we use it on our tile floors), a dusting brush, and an upholstery brush. It comes with a black bag to store the attachments in. We also keep the manual in there, which is very well laid-out and easy to follow. It has a very bright light, plus it can be reduced in length to be similar to a portable, hand-held vacuum (see photo). All sections come apart easily and go together easily. It is loud, but POWERFUL. It is surprisingly powerful for such a small, compact device. It has a LONG cord. I measured it at 29 feet in length. 29 feet! Of course, you have to loop it up yourself after using the machine....no self-winding cord with a unit like this, which I suppose is obvious. It has a little hook on the side to hang it on. It can be wall-mounted, making it easy to store out of the way. It has a switch for two power settings...one on high, for deep cleaning, such as carpets and heavy rugs, and one for lighter cleaning...bare floors, bathroom rugs, etc. It has a dust cup to catch the dirt, which is very easy to snap off and empty. No bags to deal with. Yes, it will fill more quickly than a large disposable bag, but since it is so easy to empty, this is not a big deal for us. It also has a filter, which like the dust cup, is very easy to access, remove, and hand wash. You would think in looking at this vacuum that you might tire over time when you use it, since the motor is up near the handle. We have not found this to be the case. It really well-balanced and hardly produces any strain at all, particularly when using the motorized carpet attachment, which provides a wider base for it to rest on when youre using it. Overall, I highly recommend this vacuum cleaner...it is practical, powerful, and easy to clean. I hope this review was helpful. Please feel free to ask me any question you may have and I will do my best to answer. If things change as we use it more, I will update the review...thanks for reading!

> 24 hourThis is a great, lightweight, yet powerful vacuum. I really love it and I’m glad that I finally found a vacuum that works for my needs. I would have given it 5 stars, except for one little detail. The replacement filters that came with it are not the right ones for this vacuum! Not only that, but you know how we see recommendations for other things that people buy, along with our main purchase? Suggesting we add more to our carts…? Well, the suggestion was wrong too. The replacement filters are way too big. They are not the right size. I only discovered this after the return window was closed. The good news is that the nice people at customer service are allowing me to return them anyway, but I am having to pay a $3.70 restocking fee. I’m not too happy about this. So, beware of this problem! Don’t buy the suggested replacement filters! I am now having to research this to find out which ones will fit my new vacuum. Luckily, they are washable. So maybe I don’t even need to spend yet more money to buy replacement filters.

> 24 hourI’ve pets, cats and a dog along with bare floors. So the grit is a constant battle. I’ve gone through MANY a vacuum and they have all failed in one way or another. I’ve been using this vacuum for a little over a month and thrilled with it! It sucks up the grit, it’s easy to empty and clean, and the most surprising feature is the carpet suction! Like surprised and gross out surprised! I wasn’t expecting much when I went to vacuum the bedroom (which had just been vacuumed by a more traditional heavy vacuum ) and what I heard was surprisingly effective!! It was sucking up litter from the carpet that I didn’t even know was there (we changed from letter to pine pellets a year ago)!!!!! The suction power is amazing! Love it!! It is heavy up but easily manageable. My only suggestion to any new purchaser is to get the extra filters. Once the filters are “full” the suction reduces and or goes to none. Over all a great product! Thanks Shark!

> 24 hourI like it because it’s light and not too heavy. What I do not like about it is when you have it fully attached there’s no way to stand the vacuum up. You have to lean it against the wall or just let it lay flat. That’s the one feature I really don’t like about it, also it comes with two attachments and there’s nowhere to put them on the stick
