Greater than one weekIts a genius design. I absolutely love the fact that they made this so lightweight and powerful at the same time. I tried my sisters out and fell in love. I went straight home and bought my own. I ordered it on a sunday and had it by tuesday. Crazy fast shipping. I felt like a kid on christmas morning. It was so easy to put together. Just snapped together no instructions needed. I have 4 dogs and 1 very fluffy cat. They all go outside several times a day. And they bring the outside in with them. I sweep, dustmop, and swiffer several times a week. And lug out our vacuum once sometimes twice a week. Its not a giant old school vacuum, but its still very heavy. And I hate it because its so heavy. The shark however. Is like a dream to use. Im not talking fairytale princess, dancing in the living room with my ballgown and crown dream. But, this makes my vacuuming easier, dream. lol It cleans so well. I love the swivel head. Its much quieter the my other vacuum I have. The cord is so lightweight that it just flows with it the vacuum. I dont have to fight with the cord to keep it out of the way. I have shoulder problems and my arm will go numb pushing and pulling on my other vacuum. The shark however is a weightless in comparison. Its easy to pick up and move if I have to. And its small head gets under an in between things so great. Its so nice not having to move everything when its time to vacuum. With the shark I could vacuum everyday if I wanted, and not dread it. And extremely easy to take the canister off, and its easy to dump. It has 2 lights on it 1 at the top shining down and 1 on the head itself shining forward making everything visible so you wont miss anything. It has 2 settings bare floor and carpet. I used it on my entry rug. Its a rubber rug with scrappers on it. Ive tried everything to clean this thing. Nothing worked. Used the shark on it with capet setting and now it looks new. It comes with 2 extra tool / heads. My only complaints is theres no place on the vacuum to put the extra tools. And you have to buy the wall mounting plate separate. Other than that everything else is great!!!

> 3 dayIt’s lightweight and the swivel lets you get into tight spots. However- 2things: 1. It won’t stand on its own. To park it for a minute, you have to click it into upright position(easy) then prop it against a wall on its rubber thingys to keep it from rolling off. 2. Note the height of it. A 5’1 friend wanted to test it out & the long nozzle in the upright position was way to long for her height. I’m 5’7 so it was no issue for me.

> 3 dayThis works perfectly for my needs. It has great suction, picking up crumbs, etc. from the kitchen tile floor to the crumbs under the dining room table to a general vacuuming of the living room carpet. It does a better job than the $600 Dyson its replacing which broke for the second time. Its light weight. Easy to carry up to the bedrooms. Its easy peasy to empty the dirt cup. I havent had to clean the filter yet, but Ive taken it out and put it back, and its easy. I really like that the cord starts near the handle. I never step on it. I do wish it stood up with the motor attached, but its easy to take off the motor from the top of the handle and snap it near the bottom. Ive used the word easy a lot because its all easy. I am very glad I bought it.

> 3 dayThis Rocket Deluxe Pro seriously blows the competition out the water. If you’re in the market for a “good vacuum” you should read this review to help make your decision. I’ve owned this for a couple weeks now and would like to share an honest opinion about this vacuum. I would like to note that we have hard flooring and pets that shed nonstop. I needed something that would not scratch my vinyl flooring and that could get in tricky spots and pick up massive amounts of pet hair. This thing has done all of this wonderfully, and is exceeding all of my expectations over the past couple weeks that I’ve had it. Some feature that I REALLY like about it: - The headlights as they show hair that I didn’t even previously see and they allow me to vacuum rooms in the dark when I want to just quickly hit an area. I didn’t think lights mattered but they really are nice to have. - The head is extremely easy to move around. It has a pivot point where it swivels around things very easily. I was very impressed with how easy this is to maneuver and all the places I could now get with it. One cool thing is that you can almost lay it completely down (to get under things) and the base vacuum part doesn’t come off the ground at all enabling you to get under your entertainment center, bed, couch, etc. - It literally feels great in my hand while vacuuming. It feels like a nice high quality sturdy vacuum and it’s an enjoyable experience using it. I haven’t had this out of a vacuum in years and it’s a great feeling to actually enjoy vacuuming again since I have to do it every day with my pets. I did a lot of research into vacuums prior to buying this and it was really hard to pick out one that I thought would be the best for me because you can only tell so much by reading about them and you just never know until you try it. Well I assure you that I made the absolute best choice buying this and I would definitely recommend trying this one. You can always send it back through Kohl’s or something if you don’t like it but I freakin love this thing (so much that I made me want to write a review lol.) You will not be disappointed in this vacuum cleaner. Last thing to note is some people complain because it doesn’t stay upright on its own (like when you’re done using it for a moment) but its not been an issue for us at all. To store it we put it in a jacket closet. To stand it up, the handle part can actually be sat on a counter and it’ll hold the whole thing upright, or you can stand it up against a wall. Just saying this because it hasn’t been an issue at all and don’t let that discourage you.

> 3 dayI have 7 cats and only 4 areas with carpet, so I didnt need a big vacuum since most of my home is hard flooring. Found the HV322 when it was 43% off, so $150 for a vacuum wasnt a bad cost. Ended up filling the cup twice using it for the first time in my smallest bedroom and let me tell you, that was eye opening. Im sure any brush roller vacuum would have done the same job but what I like about the Shark is: -lightweight -easy to maneuver -2 power modes -bright light -decently long cord -easy to remove dust trap -brush roller indicator light -quick release is high on the stick so you can separate the motor portion, add a crevice tool and hit those tight spots -caught it at a good sale price What I dont like about it: -doesnt stand upright on its own -dust bin requires you to use your hands to clean out fuzz/hair that collects around the filter. Not a huge deal but does make the process a bit messy. -absolutely worthless on hard floors. Youll feel all the trash get kicked back onto your feet and legs from the rollers. This is on the low setting, which Im guessing the brush rollers only turn from the air being pulled past them and not powered by the vacuum. Still, at that low setting, its too much brush action. I have 2 x Mieles I use for hard floors and nothing will ever beat them at that.

> 3 dayI previously owned, for 12 years, a Shark Rocket Deluxe Pro corded stick vacuum, and I will not go back to a canister vacuum which I purchased numerous times. Its lightweight, suction is great, and it fits under the bed and most furniture. If you empty the dust cup once a month or sooner, if needed, and clean the filters at the same time, the vacuum will sevice you for many years. Mine probably would have lasted longer if I had remembered to change, or wash the filters when I emptied the dust cup this last time.

> 3 dayI wanted a vacuum that was lightweight, could function as an upright as well as a more portable vacuum, and with attachments that were easy to switch out. My other vacuum is a 13-year-old Dyson Animal – I like it, but it’s heavy at 19 lbs., hard to lug up and downstairs, and requires a lot of thumb pressure to remove attachments. I wanted high quality but didn’t want to spend what I did on the Dyson. The Shark Rocket TruePet Ultralight Vacuum checked all my boxes, and then some. 1. The “rocket” handheld part is only 4 lbs. Perfect for when I constantly need to suck up ladybugs that have squeezed their way inside in the autumn. Or for many other quick vacuum needs. When paired with the long wand and rotating floor brush it’s still only about 8 pounds. 2. Attachments easily click in, and easily detach with a rocker switch. 3. After I received the TruePet, I carefully vacuumed a couple rooms first with the Dyson, and then followed with the Shark. It picked up a little more dust than the Dyson. 4. Less than half the price of the Dyson! 5. The LED lights are awesome. They are on both the rocket and the rotating floor brush, and highlight stuff you wouldn’t otherwise see. 6. The TruePet Motorized Brush is why I sought out this particular model. Shark has several models in the HV320 series. Their website isn’t good at showing how they differ. I think they all have the same rocket, but are accessorized differently. And including the motorized brush makes this a good deal because it’s the same price as the others in the series. This thing has really good power. I have a similar accessory on my Dyson, but it is big and clunky and will fall off the hose if you don’t hold onto it. Shark’s brush clicks in securely so you don’t have to worry about it. 7. Flexible hose. It’s only about 12 inches or so, but it’s a handy extra to have when you need extra reach to get into smaller spaces or just need the flexibility. Kudos to Amazon for being the only online retailer that I could find that even mentions this accessory. Even the box doesn’t tell you everything that is included, until you open the box and see the list on the inside flaps. That was frustrating, because I bought a different model in the HV320 series first only to find it didn’t come with what I wanted. Kudos also to the reviewer(s) who posted photos of the box contents. That really helped! 8. The dust bin. This holds plenty for its size, and is easy to remove and empty without making a big mess. 9. Pushing this as an upright is a breeze. I do have low-pile carpeting, but it feels like it’s self-propelled. I can feel the resistance when I pull back, so I know the suction is good. 10. Loved that Amazon’s packaging came with not only a bigger Amazon box to hide the contents, but the original box was snugly inside another plain box from the manufacturer. Well protected and nobody had to know what had been delivered. 11. Some comment that it doesnt stand upright by itself. Not a big deal to me because its really easy to detach the rocket and hang it on the wand near the floor. Negatives? Like others have mentioned, it would be nice to have a hard floor brush tool available without having a microfiber cloth. Applications would be basement floor or if its dirty enough that youd like to pre-clean before using the tool with the attached cloth. Since the first stroke on a surface isnt always a forward stroke, the microfiber pad would stay cleaner longer if there was suction behind as well as in front of the pad. The wand attached to the hard floor tool (the one with the pad) doesnt lock in and stay upright whether the rocket is hanging on the bottom of the wand for storage or not. It would be nice if the on-board tool clip allowed you to click in the accessories instead of just staying on with friction, because they have a tendency to fall off. But then the accessories meant to go on that clip dont click in to the vacuum either. The rolling floor brush doesnt slide all the way under my coffee table, which has a shelf 3.5 off the floor. It will slide in 8, up to the point where the rolling brush meets the handle. Thats still at least 6 further than my Dyson can go, so at least its an improvement.
