Great vac!! Lots of suction, very long cord and it cleans carpet and bare floors extremely well. Easy to change suction power and the hose is pretty long, too. Filters are cheap and easy to change. Only 3 issues I have with it. The 1st - the function and power buttons should be swapped so the power button is on the left side. The 2nd issue is that it does not come with a dusting brush. I use a dusting brush a lot for cleaning baseboards and you have to call Shark and order that separately from them for around 20 bucks. The 3rd issue is that it does not pick up well along the edges of rooms or along walls. It leaves about an inch of space unvacuumed. You just need the wand and an attachment for that little area by walls or room edges or along furniture. The included upholstery brush and other attachments work very well. Dust cup holds a lot before needing emptied. Very long cord! I am glad we bought it and I highly recommend it!

I like how the hair lines up and doesnt need cutting.I like how powerful it is and how easy to clean.you do have to empty it often but its a snap

I have had this for a month now and just amazed at how much it picks up! I have a toddler, 8 year old, two cats and a significant other that make it hard to keep up but the vacuum has so far! I need to get the other attachments though to get fans and baseboards but Im thrilled with this. I had a dyson animal before and had it for 7 years or so and this has been pretty comparable except this is more on weight. The collection cup does seem to hold about the same or more so less dumping in between rooms. The ability to increase and decrease suction is a nice feature also.

Awesome suction works great for sled dog hair. Does hardwood floor, carpet, car, frig, keyboard Also got the micro kit for cracks & crevasses. Love the design. Super light, fast & easy to unclip the attachment wand. Fits under low furniture. Ran over a dog toy & found it in the clear window under label. Unsnapped. Done. No stress!!! And the headlight? Genius!

I love love love this vacuum! Its lighter then my Bissell that I had for 5 years and then it broke. I was nervous about buying a vacuum on line . Im glad I didnt cheap out and bought this one its a keeper. I couldnt believe how dirty my carpets were and I vacuum weekly. 2 dogs 2 cats!! Cord is to short and bag less container is too small but other than that its really awesome!! Light weight easy to push around and the beater brush work just like they said it would!! Nothing to cut off with scissors!! That is so great!!! Yes BUY this vacuum! I am a real customer and I was not paid to write this review!

This is my third Shark vacuum, and I have been a fan for a long time. This Shark, however, is poorly designed compared to the others. There is no light on the handle; when using the handle and small attachments (for stairs, for instance) there is no work light. The wand does not attach directly to the motorized floor head, allowing the unit to access areas under furniture; it is far too large and bulky. The ON/OFF switch is no longer conveniently located on the handle, requiring you to bend forward over the unit to turn the unit or brushes on and off. The best feature about this vacuum is the DuoClean roller in the front of the unit, but it is hardly worth the cost and certainly not worth the additional cost of purchasing a second vacuum I can use on stairs and under furniture. If Shark would simply take the convenient, innovative features from all their vacuums and put it on one, theyd outdo Dyson and every other company out there!

This is an excellent vacuum for hard surfaces flooring and carpet. It cleans up nicely, the filters are easy to clean, and I love how its multi-functional. Its a little heavy to move around on the carpet but it does an amazing job.

The suction and cleaning was hands down better than the older Dyson. I cant say as far as a comparison with the newer ones. But the cleaning, suction, and maneuverability is great. And its narrow enough to fit between the legs of chairs, Dyson was too wide. Plus the cleaning head, if you will, is low and fits under furniture the Dyson wont. One other thing, the brush and suction is so good, its almost self propelled on carpet.
