Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Premium Noise Canceling Overhead Headphones with Mic for Phone-Call and Alexa Voice Control, Black WH1000XM4

I asked for this pair to be reimbursed for work to be comfortable for work over the next year. However, after using it for the past two months, I cant recommend it with it generating static noises during calls about half of the time. When it works, it works really well, but I had to do so many reconnects in order for it to work. This is unacceptable for a set that costs $300. Music over headphones and ANC on the plane are awesome but it wasnt an all around device that I thought it would be.

Im wondering if these are refurbished headphones sold as new. I purchased these because my old pair was making a crackling noise and I thought the aux cord had gone bad. This pair also has the same crackling noise. The audio and noise canceling is great but there is a godawful crackling noise which makes these headphones useless. I should have purchased a different brand instead of trying to purchase these again because its clearly a problem.

In a word, the headphones are very cool, the noise cancellation is at the highest level, the sound is clear, comfortable to wear even for a long time.

Decent headphones overall. Good sound quality and the touch and auto-pause functionality is helpful. The battery life is definitely not quite as long as advertised, but I think everyone expects this, and its still pretty good, so w/e. The main issue is that the headphones will randomly disconnect from my computer, which requires me to turn them off and back on. Tried two different BT dongles with the same issue, so I dont believe thats causing the problem either. Quite annoying while youre in the middle of watching videos or having a conversation.

I was excited to purchase these headphones but I ultimately returned them because they gave me a headache, there was a warble sound that got really annoying in the left ear, and I was not a fan of how unbalanced the sound was for rock songs. The headphones sound great for rap / more electronic music, but I rarely listen to it. I have had Bose q25s before this and I have never had an issue with those.
