> 3 dayWe all know the killer features, great UX and supreme comfort that enable the AirPods Max to make a complete mockery of themselves. But if youre a mac user like me you might notice some dissapointing sound quality out of the box. Theres a fix: Open your terminal and run this. thanks to u/chocodamo for the code. This increases the default bitrate so your tunes dont sound like garbage. If they do, theyre NOT the headphones fault.

> 3 dayThe battery life is good and the noise cancelling works pretty well. They are comfortable to wear and I have used them a lot but it is 4/28/23 today and Ive had microphone issues that are getting worse since about 3 weeks ago. I bought these on 06/21/21. I do use them a lot but Sony has directed me to get them serviced and wont warranty them. It is disappointing. Sony fixed a TV I had years ago well out of warranty but not these headphones. I rely on them quite a lot so this is something I will need to take care of soon and rather inconvenient. It seems to me that headphones this expensive should last longer than less than two years! I also didnt like that the touchpad is easy to accidentally hang up the phone with when using them with a cellphone, but this is a minor point.

20-12-2024Should a pair of headphones this expensive really have so many bugs? Its amazing when it works, but it seems like every day I pick them up to use them something new is wrong with them. They are prone to static, the functions stops working sporadically for reasons I dont understand, they randomly lose bluetooth connection, even when Im only a few feet away from my cell phone or if Im moving, and Lord help you if you live in a warm climate and you sweat while wearing them. It throws everything off. Im pretty disgusted with the fact that I spent this much money on these headphones and Ive had more problems from them than I have headphones that cost hundreds of dollars less. I bought into the hype with this one, and Ive paid the price.... dont make my mistake! I only wish all these problems has cropped up before my return window had closed. And honestly? I really dont think the sound quality is any better than my old V Moda headphones.

> 3 dayGreat headphones but they overheat and the ANC causes some discomfort that made me not want to use them. The mic was also terrible. The hires audio only works with specific codec and not my iPhone, to get the best quality I used the wire. Well, I got the Sony MDR1AM2 instead and they are much better in all directions of comfort and sound and even have a better mic on the cord. They are wired, no Bluetooth or anc. But I got them a 1/3 price. I think these ones are great and beautiful, but the discomfort was a dealbreaker and without the right codec or wire, they aren’t mind blowing audio. And forget using them to have calls with.

> 3 dayI will be honest, these are so light that when they showed up on my door I thought there was nothing in the box. These are some SERIOUSLY amazing headphones, though! I had put them on and was instantly blown back by the audio quality of these, but my favorite part is that it works with 2 Bluetooth devices at once, which allows me to do work or play games on my computer and then get on my phone and listen to YouTube if I want to. These are well worth the price, if you can afford to fork it.

> 3 dayGot these headphones for auditory sensory processing issues. The noise canceling function rocks & the ANC makes the world sound so much more calm than I have ever experienced. I hesitated to pay the price amount (poor college student here), but my functionality and ability to focus better makes it very worth the investment.

> 3 daythese are great. I do mixing and mastering through audio-technica ATH-M40Xs and those are great for what I use them for but, if you want 99% of that sound quality without wires and some super awesome noise canceling these are for you. I love using these for noise cancellation buy themselves as well airplanes, lawnmowers, Public transportation, all are much quieter and some slightly quieter noises are canceled out completely. these cans and a tidal subscription will be the best sound quality the average person will ever care to hear
