> 3 dayAs of about three years ago, I was an earbuds guy. The wireless over-hear headphones I had tried previously never could approximate the kind of audio immersion you get when you wedge little speakers directly into your ear canals. I never found over-hear headphone noise cancellation to work that well - often, turning it on would create more noise than it cancelled, compromising audio quality and, well, just sucking generally. Not to mention the inconsistent and typically non-intuitive affordances for powering on/off, pairing, and controlling playback on these things.

> 3 dayThough these are not made for gaming, I bought these for gaming on my PC because my friend had the previous generation and loved them. They did not disappoint. I read reviews saying the built in mic is not good but I have a stand alone mic so that did not matter to me. I was instantly able to hear footsteps easier in call of duty. Other than a few small quirks to work around with the connection to PC like distorted audio when game chat was turned on (fix by disabling hands free mode on the built in mic), these are amazing.

> 3 dayLove these headphones. Great sound. Comfortable. So many great features. My favorite is the dual-connect feature. Only challenge is that with all the powerful options, it takes a bit of effort to understand all the features and options and to set them up in the manner you prefer. I noted several negative comments that would not have been necessary had the commentor read the user instructions .

> 3 dayI’ve owned a lot of headphones including Bose QC35 II and I auditioned these against the Bose NC 700s. (I’m also trying to talk myself out of considering the Apple AirPods Max). The noise cancellation is better on these, they are more comfortable and while the sound quality of NC headphones can vary, I prefer these to all the other options. Great battery life, legit carrying case, all for quite a bit less than the others. Very happy with them.

> 3 dayThese are god tier headphones. I wanted some really high quality cans for listening to Hi-Fi and Master level audio on Tidal. I originally got the Beats Studio Wireless 3’s since all my main electronics are Apple but those were trash so I decided to try the Sony’s. These are hands down the best headphones I’ve ever used and I used to strictly stick to Bose. These blow the QC’s out of the water. I think a lot of it has to do with how customizable they are with the app. I’ve never had headphones with this level of customization before so it took a little bit to get used to. I had my mom try them on and listen to “24k Magic” by Bruno Mars in Hi-Fi and she immediately ordered a pair. Get them, they’re worth every penny. Want some serotonin? Get these headphones, get Tidal, put on full noise cancellation, get comfortable, and put on the Hi-Fi playlist of LoFi Beats. It’s absolute bliss.

> 3 dayThese were top-rated, so I had high hopes. The instant I placed them on my ears I knew these exceeded my expectations - They oozed luxury and comfort. My Dad had a pair of Bose, he liked those but he loves these, which he has appropriated.
