Its definitely a lower-cost alt to the Dyson offerings, but this one just plows debris on hardwoods. If the particles are too small, they pass under the brush sucker. If they are too large to fit under the front, the front just pushes the stuff around. Lots of rock scratches on nice hardwoods. The unit will not stay upright no matter how hard you try because of physics. You must lay it down on the ground or hang it in the charger. And, that charger station is just a hunk of plastic. No electronics so the unit charges while hanging. You must fish out the charger wire. The battery seems to last ok for my 700 sqft apartment which is 90% hardwoods/linoleum. The high power mode lasts for a few sections and does increase the suction power but its not even close to my previous corded upright. (maybe 1/4 the power)

I have had two Dyson stick vacuums and loved them. But when my second one died, I wasn’t willing to spend $600+ for a new one. So I looked at different stick vacuums on Amazon and came across this one. I had never heard of this brand before and was very skeptical. I saw a link of an independent review and learned Tineco has been making vacuums for over 20 years. The reviewer showed the suction power of this vacuum about the same as a Dyson. Amazon reviews were very favorable. Now I see why. And at a little over $200 I thought I would take a chance. It proved well worth it. I have used this vacuum for six months and love it MORE than the Dyson. It is quieter and has 3 different power settings. There is also a lock to keep the trigger button on and save finger stress. The Dyson didn’t have that feature. I am very happy with my purchase!! You will be too!

I love how long it vacuums. I have a Dyson this blows that away. Oh you dont have to hold your finger to make it. You vacuum finger free. Oh. And the light awesome. I have hardwoods dude I cant believe all the dust I saw with light. Its awesome

The vacuum worked well for the first 4/5 months, however the plastic connector which supports the pole of the vacuum recently snapped for no apparent reason, leaving the vacuum unusable as its in two pieces. I have a small 650 square foot apartment so the vacuum was being used lightly, with no apparently reason for the break. Seems that it was poorly built and does not hold up longer than 6 months I would use caution if youre looking to purchase a vacuum with the intention of using it for an extended period of time.

My wife and I are seniors, have no carpet nor rugs in our house and this thing is perfect for us. Its lightweight, easy to use and does a fine job on our floors. Vacuuming our floors has never been more convenient and easy. Disconnect the wand and power head and it works well as a lightweight, handheld vacuum. (I used it to clean the dust out of my desktop PC.) I was a little nervous about buying a battery-operated vacuum cleaner, particularly one priced lower than most, but were both very pleased with its convenience and performance. We get around 20 minutes of run time at low speed, about half that at the high setting.

This vacuum is the best! My pets bring in mud and deposit hair all over the place, and my previous vacuum, a Bissell Pet Edge, failed to pick most of it up. This little vacuum picks up just about everything, and the light on it illuminates dirt and hair that I never knew was on the floor. It also lays flat, so I can get dirt under sofas and furniture which my Bissell didnt do. Plus I can easily detach the top and use it as a dustbuster or add an attachment for getting dirt out of crevices or dusting. Its also a lot quieter than my Bissell, so my dogs dont try to attack it, and its super lightweight! It also cleans my carpets and the shag run in my closet. I hung the battery charger on the wall next to my washing machine, and just slip the battery out and into the charger when needed. The battery lasts for about 30 minutes of constant use and sometimes longer, which is long enough for me to clean the main floor of my house. I have never written a review about a vacuum before, but I had to do it for this one!

I originally got this for hard wood floors. The suction isnt wonderful and it definitely does not work on carpet very well for the price I thought it would be a little better. Was really excited for this. But does what it needs to do for my hard wood floors.

I received this yesterday afternoon and have been waiting over 2 weeks to get it. I chose this over many other available options because I also own their Cordless Mop/Vacuum. That being said, I was expecting a high quality made product for the price point (which is on par with Dyson and others). What I got was a well designed esthetically pleasing look, but thats basically is it. Aside from the look, the trash bin as well as all other parts were very poorly made. the canister itself feels like a thicker plastic from Dixie cups, the unit while is light, cannot stand on its own nor does it fold. Now to the meat of why disappointing... 1st, the suction is awful! It feels like my daughters toy vacuum has more suction power, the batteries look nice, but does not have direct charge capability( must be mounted to the wall hanging port). The units will not operate on high mode for more than 20-30 seconds), it cuts off for some reason. It will not pick up cereal or chips like Cheetos or anything that size ( yes, even broken pieces). I will be returning this today and getting another brand, but very disappointed with this purchase. Wasted time waiting for it only to get a subpar and poorly made item. This is a no go for me.

This review is for the Tineco A11 Pet Ex cordless vacuum. I have only had it for one day but I am already so impressed! I love that it came with an extra battery. The charging dock is really convenient and all of the accessories work great. I used the vacuum on the lowest setting on my hard floors and the highest setting on my rugs. The highest setting has such strong suction that it was kind of hard to push on my rugs-- not complaining, Im glad the suction is so powerful! I had just vacuumed with my corded Shark vacuum on Sunday and I used this on Tuesday, and the dust cup was nearly full. The unit does have to be attached to the wall mount to charge, so my hubby added an outlet in our coat closet where I used to keep our corded vacuum. I love that I can hide this in a closet but still have it ready to use at any time. I will update this review if anything changes, but so far I am really impressed!

I wanted to try a stick vacuum to see if the floors would get cleaned more often if we did not have to lug out the heavy, plug-in vacuum. I did the research, interviewed family members to see what features would encourage them to vacuum more, tried out my friends Shark IonFlex, and settled on getting the Tineco A10 Hero. If it were just me, I probably would have gotten a corded stick as you can get a more powerful vacuum for less money without the concern that the battery runs out too soon, and when the battery eventually dies out completely it will either be an expensive replacement or perhaps not available at all. But other family members seemed to think that if there was no cord they might vacuum more often, so to me that was worth taking a chance on battery-power and spending the extra money. The miracle where other family members vacuum more often did not happen (I think each of them tried it once, and that was it), but I am still super impressed with this machine. First thing I noticed, it is very light: it is 2.9 lbs vs the other models I was considering that were 7 to 14 lbs. It also has a 350 watt motor - others in this price range were 180w-300w. I would have liked a self-cleaning brush roll, but my friends Shark IonFlex has this and she says she still gets hair wrapped around the brush roll anyway. The other thing I would have liked would have been a larger dust compartment, but in this price range all of the dust compartments are about this size if not smaller. The Tineco A10 Spartan is the same machine which is cheaper and has the same features as the A10 Hero but fewer attachments. What sold me on the Hero was the Pre Filter Cleaning Tool and extra Pre Filter (which may only come with the wall-mount version) - this is what makes all the difference! When the vacuum is feeling sluggish and not picking up as much stuff as it used to (and this could happen within 10 minutes, before the battery charge even gives out), first empty the dust bin. If it is still a little sluggish, then I remove the pre filter (which is inside the dust bin and easy to remove), swap it out with the spare and clean the pre filter I just took out so it is ready to go for next time. After doing this, the machine is as good as new. The easy maintenance routine is what I like the best. I probably end up changing and cleaning the pre filter about every 3 times I use the vacuum, and while Im at it I use a nickel to open the roll brush compartment and clean all the hairs wrapped around it (there is a hook tool included to do this also). Not something that I had to do as often with the corded, full size vacuum, but it is so easy to do with the Hero that it is still more convenient than dragging out the old behemoth. I have not yet run out of battery when I am vacuuming because it is so easy to take out for quick jobs that I do one room at a time and am done before the battery runs out. I have wood floors with oriental or low pile carpets - regular power does a great job on these so I do not really use the Max Power setting. I received no compensation for this review - I am just a really happy customer. --- Update: 2.5 months later and I havent used the old, plug-in vacuum at all --- Update: 2 years later - Still very happy with this vacuum! After using for 2 years, I still agree with my original review: love the easy self cleaning (still using the original 2 Pre Filters and it runs like new after they are cleaned with the included tool), but wish it had a larger dust bin because it will fill up quickly and usually needs to be emptied before I am done with a room (I have a cat and 3 people with long hair in the house). The suction is not as good as a plug in, so I have used the Max setting when more suction power is needed. The battery still outlasts my usual 15-20 minute vacuuming sessions (on regular power). Only once I went on an extended cleaning streak and depleted the battery - do not remember how long that took, but it was enough to clean up 3 rooms pretty well. Bottom line: still performing great after 2 years of use, makes cleaning easy, but if you need high powered suction then you probably will want a corded vacuum of some kind.
