Pictures made it look like these were about the same width as the outlet cover plate which would have been fine, but looks are deceiving. I need them to fit inside an electric box which is wider than the cover plate and these are larger than the plate. Its a shame they dont provide dimensions. Ill see if I can use them somewhere else.

These have been up for several months. I havent had any signal issues and they are very responsive with Alexa on the app and with my Echo devices. Lots of options on the native app and less but effective options with the Alexa app.

Some people stated that it was super easy to install and some stated it was a pain. Im siding with it being a pain. Yes I know that it only runs on 2G, but my Alexa couldnt locate the plugs, and I had to contact customer service at Amazon, which was very helpful. I had to download the Smartlife app in order for Alexa to recognize them. So, no, this was not easy to set up. It took my over 2 hours to set them up. Once they were up and running, they seemed to work well. Im decent with technology, but this was kind of stupid since I had to download a completely different app for the plugs.

So functionally,. These smart plugs do everything advertised. They have the 15 amp relay , they have timers, they can be in groups, they have an app, and they can connect to google and alexa. But everything is cloud based. When you install the treatlife app, you gotta create a cloud account. No cloud account, noise having them. Once created, you gotta create a home, family, and then rooms. Pairing the device is simple, push the botton, and the app uses bluetooth to find the new device and then you tell it what your wifi password is via the app and it registers to the cloud. All the timer events are in the cloud. In fact, to turn it on, the app contacts the cloud and the device turns on/ in about 5 seconds after the button press. There doesnt seem to be an internal clock for the timer events. So if your internet is down, your timer features are gone. This is why I dont like the cloud only features. We have to assume that treatlife could be gone in a year rendering these smart outlets useless. These outlets look like many other OEM smart plugs. From experience I have also learned that these devices which need a cloud account are disposable in a year, when the cloud policies changes . And do you really want a server in china having control over your appliances. The alexa and google features basically use the local home controller to connect to their cloud to control local devices. Ill keep them, but I am still looking for locally controlled outlets with a timer. These arent them. But they do work, for now.

I have bought several bar ads before. Some have worked 100% and some had several in the box that did not work at all. This was a box of four. One would not connect after repeated attempts. I put it away and will try again later. I am not sure what brands are 100% that will also work with Smartlife. The add device function worked easier on these than previous modules.

This works just like the GE outlet that came with my Google Mini. Easy to use, just how it should be. The only issue I found is in the installation. In the Treatlife app, the outlet is found right away and pops up in a new window on the bottom. When I installed this way, I was unable to turn it on by the app, only by the physical button. Dont use that new window. You have to back out of that window. Install it manually, like you would any other device (with the + symbol). After installation, I was able to turn it on by the app, and the physical button. If you install like that, youll have no problems

    Greater than one week

We have used these Treatlife (TL) outlets, and one other, TL compatible outlet, for about 3 years now. We have them installed at our home and in my sons home. The App is easy to use and you can group devices by location. We can access both homes from ANYwhere there is internet. You can program timers by day, multiple on/off sessions. The outlets have a button for local control. The only application that (eventually) failed was a restaurant espresso machine which probably was too high amperage. However you can get higher power outlets that interface with TL so everything is accessible from the App. Highly recommended.

I have a light switch connected to an inconvenient outlet, so I plugged one in there, and a second to a lamp elsewhere, and programmed a rule that when the light switch one turns on the other turns on the lamp and it works perfectly ❤️

Product: Treatlife SK50 Smart Plug 4 Pack The Treatlife SK50 Smart Smart Plug was very straightforward to install. If you dont want to use the app, there is an on/off switch on the side. There is an LED that shines when the plug is on and flashing when it is ready for pairing with the app. I already had the app on my phone from when I had installed another Treatlife product (actually several products). I just plugged the Smart Plug in and added the plug to the app. I did not need to use the included instructions. From the phone it is easy to remotely turn the plug on and off or create a schedule. or safety, a child safety setting is included to prevent accidentally activating the plug. it is very easy to create a regular schedule to turn on and off on any day or all seven days of the week. Other features include a 23 hour, 59 minute countdown, away times as well as an inching function. This means that the smart outlet will stay on for a preset time, up to 60 minutes and 59 seconds, when the plug is turned on.Im not sure if the manufacturer planned on allowing this to be a day or longer, but as it is now, it is slightly longer than an hour. I will use this product for a couple of things not met by other timers. During the Christmas season, I plan on setting the timer to set a daily/weekly schedule for Christmas tree lights. That way I dont need to remember to do it every day. The other use is to control a food dehydrator that sometimes has to run for several days. Most timers run for up to 24 hous, but this unit will work for the several-day cycle I need. This product works very well and is very easy to use.
