> 3 dayUpdate 9/15/20: One of my outlets has disconnected a couple times which required resetting it and resyncing to my WiFi. Overall for months of use thus far, its not a huge issue. The other I use daily and has never had any connection issues so I still get the impression these are reliable. Full Disclosure: Treat Life sent me this product for free in order to test and review. Ive been using these for nearly a month now. Ive used other smart outlet plugs before, but ran into issues of random disconnects, difficultly resyncing to my SmartLife app, and no automatic reconnecting after power outages. TreatLifes smart plugs suffer none of those issues. On top of the reliability, they offer other features and customizations like whether or not you want the LED on or off, how the switch functions, timer settings, and a child lock. Plus, 15amps is a very generous rating, which is why I use mine in the garage. These guys, like all other TreatLife products Ive used, just work. Theyre high quality, and reliable.

> 3 dayI liked these so much that I ended up getting two four-packs. I especially like that when you cut power to the plug, you can set it to default to on or off, or remember its last setting when power is resumed. This is useful when using the plug on an outlet that already has a mechanical switch attached. So for instance, the bedrooms in my house dont have ceiling lights, but do have light switches that control one outlet in the room. I plug the smart plug into the outlet, and then a lamp into the smart plug. Then I set the smart plug to default to on when power is resumed. Now, Im always able to turn the light on or off using the switch. And when it is on, I can then turn it off using the smart plug. This is nice, because other remotes Ive tried default to off only when power is cut and resumed, which makes it really annoying to use with a mechanical switch.

> 3 dayI am a regular user from Treatlife products, I have their smart switches, I do have other smart plug but is round endup only used one outlet instead of two, this product I can two at the same time. Price are great for a package of 4 and is a 15 amp plugs. Quality of the plugs feel solid, I used this on my 1500 watt deep fryer, and two of them for bedroom lamps. The installation is a bit different compare to their smart switches, the installation in the box said to scan QR CODE to download Treatlife app, once I download the app ask to create an account, this is one thing I dont like, the app before that come with their smart switches was Smart Life is by Tuya, I am NOT going to used two different apps to control two different products from the same company I bought them from, although I did used Smart Life app and add Socket (Wi-Fi) is work just fine, simplely fast connected. I am not sure how Treatlife app is different from Smart Life app but I would recommend the peoples that had Treatlife products before to used the same app instead of keep switching app for different products, if you using Alexa to voice everything that is great but there thing app offers that you cant get from Amazon Alexa. See pictures for more information on Smart Life app products layout and smart plug control settings. Updated 10/10/20 after a month of used two plug stopped working I recorded a video sent to tech support but answer, 5/21/21 David sent me an email asking if i want a replacement, i accepted his offer but the items was back order but he end up sending me a replacement thank you for that.

Greater than one weekThese have been up for several months. I havent had any signal issues and they are very responsive with Alexa on the app and with my Echo devices. Lots of options on the native app and less but effective options with the Alexa app.

Greater than one weekAnother great product by Treatlife. Have their smart switches and love them. Glad they came out with these smart plugs. Works smoothly and as expected. The 15A /1800W is great to control higher wattage appliances. The plug is also smaller than other brands and small enough vertically to fit two in the same outlet pair. (Note: power strips have varied pitches between outlets, so depending on the particular power strip, the plugs may not fit on adjacent outlets. But there usually are enough outlets to space them out in that case.) The manual on/off button is on the side, which may or may not be convenient depending on how things are located. Something to consider if you plan to manually control the unit frequently. Of course, this is not a problem for voice control. App works well, Overall, a great product. Recommended.

> 3 dayI like the TreatLife products in general. However, they all tend to be a bit difficult to setup for the lay person. I am an IT Professional, so I actually am able to figure out whats gone wrong when it wont connect or configure. I tend be a little more patient. But for the lay person with little experience in connecting smart devices, these plugs are quite difficult. It took me at least a dozen attempts before the app would recognize the device. The instructions dont match the app. And the name of the app in the instructions (TreatLife) doesnt match the actual app on your phone (Smart Life). These plugs are not listed under manual mode, so it was a bit of trial and error when it wouldnt connect autonomously. Overall, theyre good devices and they work well with Alexa. I also have the TreatLife color bulbs all over the house and they run their routines perfectly. I think TreatLife would do really well to revisit their enclosed instructions and make them match the actual app. Finally, they really should rework the SmartLife app so that the Option for Easy and AP Modes is more user friendly. Other smart devices have gotten around this minor configuration difference for varying Wifi configurations without completely frustrating the end user. It would be my suggestion to look at your competitors and mimick their approach. Your product is good, but the implementation is poor.

> 3 dayThe switch seems reliable, handles high power, and setting it up to operate with Amazon Alexa and/or Google Home is simple and easy (I have both). Ive used one with a Hot Pot pressure cooker and another with a toaster oven without any issue. The switch does not get hot. A nice touch is that the plug has a push button on/off toggle switch on the side left side- so when you are next to it, you can easily turn it on or off manually without bothering to speak a command or bring up its cell phone app. Some time ago, I purchased a Treatlife wall switch and had a little trouble with the initial setup. I was able to quickly contact Treatlife support and found them to be responsive and immediately helpful. This is the opposite of my experiences with TP Link/Kasa where I found their technical support to be unhelpful and had a 3-way switch purchased from them fail entirely after only a week or so in used. (As of this writing, TP Link still has not honored its warranty. I use Alexa/IFTTT for timing functions, so I have not tried to set any plug timing from the cell phone app.

> 3 dayAs an entry level smart home device, this cant be beat!! Plug your floor lamp into it, you can turn it on-and-off from anywhere. Plug your old coffee maker into it, and its suddenly a smart coffee maker! Hook your crockpot to it, and you can turn it off while running errands! Put a box-fan in your window, and you can have it automatically turn on the fan when the outside temperature reaches a low level, turn it back off when the outside temperature reaches a high level. You can also set an automatic timer, after you turn it on, itll automatically turn off after any amount of time. Or, have it turn on and off at the same time of day. It has a side-button to manually turn on-and-off the device. You can disabled the side button to prevent small fingers from fiddling with it. Lastly, if you have smart switches, you can add rules to turn this on and off with the switch. Its like adding something to the circuit without having to rewire the house! (PS: Dont plug your modem/router into it, especially if you cant reach the plug!)

> 3 dayEasy to integrate with Smartlife App and Alexa. Better shape than the round or square smart plugs; you don’t have to fight to access the other outlet.
