I got warehouse deal and it came totally fine. We did this for the first time and loved it. Something we will do now with the kids yearly I think. Came with plenty of gloves and bands! Loved having lots of colors to choose from and the colors look amazing after going through the wash too! We are very happy with our turn out! I would get this kit again. It was powder and we just had to add water! We let it sit overnight and I think that worked great! My rating 5 star - I really like this item, really made me go wow you should get this 4 star- I like this item and it is fine, but didnt go wow you need this 3 star- this item is alright but has a few flaws 2 star- quiet a few flaws I would totally go somewhere else 1 star- junk no good dont waste your time

We bought this for a BBQ this summer and had a blast! Its easy to use and all-inclusive. Working in a lab, we upgraded from the gloves it came with since theyre not really the best. But everything else about the kit is great. All told, I think we made about 5 shirts and had a lot leftover. One has to really saturate the fabric with the dye for a strong color- we didnt really get that part right the first time so its possible we would have gone through a lot more color if we had. There are duplicates of some colors, which is nice. The pamphlet of ideas is pretty crappy and missing steps- Id recommend looking up design ideas online first.

Best set of tie dye Ive ever purchased. Bright vibrant colors, and the colors set very quickly. Great price! I have purchased 3 times! Daughter loves making clothes with these! And I enjoy tie dying shirts for myself. I feel like a kid again! Plus this project give me and my Daughter bonding time with something we both love doing! I have actually added a little bit of additional water to these when they get low and the color still comes out just as bright and vibrant. It also recommend to throw away after using, but I have saved bottles as the were still half full and used them a couple of days later, and again, they still came out just as bright and vibrant. I am actually getting ready to purchase this set again as it is better priced and better variety than the local stores carry. The directions recommend to let the colors set for several hours (I cant remember exactly as I tossed the box already but I think it was 6-8 hours), but I have washed the coloring out in just a couple hours and they came out just as bright! We even tie dyed our beach sheet and constantly get compliments as they say it looks professional. Cant wait to tie dye more clothes or items! I just bought a white pair of legging I plan to tie dye! Getting pretty good at this stuff!

This kit is so much fun. I made several shirts with different colors and still have half a box left! I checked with the Michaels store, their kits are way more expensive and they dont even carry this one. This would be awesome for a Tie Dye party!!! You will need to use any open bottle the same day so the dye is most effective. The bottles can be saved and refilled with the inexpensive Rit Dye packs. About a tablespoon would be sufficient. There are four pairs of gloves in this box but I used hospital non latex gloves for a better grip. This kit has everything in it that you will need except for a rack to put over the sink. I just borrowed the one in the oven. Perfect!! I recommend to wash the shirts out after the first dry with cold water, let it hang dry again and then wash separately in the hand wash cycle with Woolite. I ironed them after I dried them in the dryer. After that, they should not bleed in another wash.

The colors turned out great! I did soak the sweatshirt overnight in the dye. I do think if you are going to use for a hoodie you should buy 2 of these sets as I did not have enough of each color. Leaving more white than I wanted. Overall the color has held up and I am pleased with the outcome.

The colors are nice and vibrant! With plenty for numerous clothing items! We had our whole family of 6 with multiple items. The only issue was rinsing the items. But we filled the bath tub and just let them sit for a while, and the colors didn’t really bleed noticeably. I would recommend for all the variety of colors!

This is so easy! No need for any soda ash. I even did them dry so the dye would really take with bold colors. You just add water to the dye and the bottles have colored tops so you know which color is which. Came with lots of gloves, tons of rubber bands, and a great instruction sheet with lots of ideas. Shirts turned out fantastic! Very happy. Only thing that is questionable is that the replacement dye packs are $35 on Amazon, so much more than the kit itself. Why?

Love the variety of colors. Easy to mix colors and came with everything needed but the shirts. I would definitely buy it again. Bought them for my 8 year olds birthday party and had tons of dye left over. Goes a long way!

my work gives out seasonal sweaters during the holidays that are just 100% cotton sweat shirts with our company logo on them, but we wear them nonetheless. I wanted to give the girls on my crew some flare to our uniforms so I used this kit on a couple of old sweaters we had. they came out so good! now we can match at work, and stand out a little from other stores. I used this kit with the crumple method, pre-wet them, dyed them and let them sit in a plastic bag over night. I rinsed them out in my sink until the water was clear and threw them in a (laundromat) washer and dried them, they came out wonderfully! I also died them a single diluted color first to make sure I wasnt getting any white in my final sweaters. i squirted a little dye in a big bucket with about a liter of water in it and squished the sweaters around before squeezing the excess water out, bundling them up, and dying them. this gives them a soft base color for your bright saturated colors. I also kept like-colors together to prevent browning.
