Havent used yet but the plastic table cloth is missing. And had anyone use these dyes on yarn

I had several bottles that leaked when shaking to mix. The cap was on correctly. Wont return because I still used them. Color is vibrant until you wash them, then it fades

This was one of my favorite Amazon purchases. The tie dye was easy to prepare and use. The colors came out beautifully. My friends and I are ready to buy another set and dye more things. The only thing I would change about the kit are the gloves. They were big and unwieldy, we swapped them out for better fitting gloves.

Ok, so after watching a few other items availability dates fluctuate, I finally pulled the trigger on this set! My son (5) has been begging to do tie dye for awhile now and I cant believe Ive never done it myself. Great instructions inside, but the selection of colors and number of bottles made this kit the winner. The shirts we did are fairly bright, however weve only washed once. We let the color set overnight, but for the next round, well probably use a bit more color and let them sit longer.

Tulip has amazing dyes, and their kits are great for beginners. They include everything youll need, and have a great range of colors.

The best thing about this kit is that the bottles are pre-filled with the dye powder. Also, the bottles come with little caps so you can save leftover dye if you want to. This was a fun, easy for a range of ages and not as messy as youd think project for group of 15 or so people. Keep in mind, the dye needs to sit for 8 hours before the project is finished... so best for a sleepover type party if you want people to be able to take their projects home. If you care about dye staining hands, you might want to get better gloves, otherwise the gloves that come with the kit are hard to work with and kids will probably just take them off. The dye will wear off after a week and honestly was a non-issue for me. I will totally buy this again.

Bought this to make shirts with my sister on my birthday. The bottles were a little smaller than expected, but still more than fair for the price. There are a few duplicates like two red, two turquoise and two yellows I believe.it says enough for 36 projects, but we used half the color bottles on about 13 shirts. So probably not enough for 36. Still have the rest of the dye bottles to use. Had a lot of fun, and the dye is quite vibrant. I will say that some have more dye powder than container can use, so use a little bit of the dye and then add a little more water. Otherwise the powder residue will come out and onto your tie dye project. All and all, its a great product, and less expensive than buying it from the store.

I bought some soda ash to help fix this dye,and it worked beautifully. My daughter and I used not even half the kit and dyed 2 toddler shirts and 8 9mo. onesies. Maybe it was 10 onesies (some were long sleeved) anyhow..we still had some dye left over in the 7 bottles we used, could have probably done 2 more items... The thing with this kit is to know how many items you can possibly dye because once you add water to the dye bottles they are only usable for several hours. We had alot of fun with this and I think for as many colors as you get, its a pretty good deal...as we will get a couple other uses out of it still. Ive been trying to think what else we can dye with it. So far the items we dyed have held up bright and awesome even after laundering. We watched a bunch of you tube videos to learn how to tie and apply the dye. I did all the folding/banding and my 3 year old was able to apply the dyes. It was a fun afternoon project for us and the drop cloth is heavy enough that you can use it again.

Super cute kit , has everything you need except paper towels and shirts lol we had so much fun even have a whole row of color and rubber bands and gloves left over for another fun time of tie dye ,we only did 5 shirts and had so much left over note to self make sure you have a lot of shirts to do so you use all the dye ;) (which if it’s not used within 72 hours is no good but we had our fun until next time , thank you easy clean up. And if you stained your hands or face lol came right off with a little Clorox and water (we have a spray bottle always on hand .
