> 3 dayIf you want a set of backup drives, then these are fine, but not the first ones I would grab. They work, they load up quickly and all the files are working once you get the drive up. My main issue is that the product listing claims that these have writing speeds of AT LEAST 8mb/s per transfer, but while transferring files as low as 2gb across, it not only took at least 6 minutes to transfer over, but it never even reached 8mb/s! The attached screenshot is of a transfer that you can see never peaked higher than ~7.3mb/s. Not a total waste of time, but again, not something I would keep on hand for speedy transfers. These would be best for backing up files while youre not in immediate need of them or overnight or whatever.

10-04-2025being able to purchase more than 1 for almost the price of 1 or 2 of the other brands, I am pleased. I do alot of genealogy and have used this with no problems. I would recommend this item

> 3 dayAfter it gets formatted. It doesn’t get recognized. So not worth it. Plus it’s only a 2.0. So if that’s a concern. Stay Away.
