> 24 hourThis is a phenomenal SSD. Fairly low priced, and gives you ample headroom as a boot drive. I have a 250GB in my main rig as a boot drive and a 1TB as an upgrade to my MacBook. The drives have great read speeds, and increase in performance was very noticeable in my MacBook, along with a 16GB RAM upgrade. Launching programs like iPhoto or iTunes are instant, and Ive been seeing the colour wheel spin less. I cant say much about the 250 GB because my main rig has never had anything else.

> 24 hourSo far so good. Purchased this to upgrade my Mac book pro (2009). Install was easy. Computer is noticeably faster, especially turning on and shutting down. And for the price, Im happy with the purchase. Would recommend to anyone looking at replacing. The only thing Im still unsure about is OS X Yosemite and the hard drive support of TRIM. Im not too familiar with it, but TRIM cant be enabled on this hard drive in Yosemite without a workaround. Havent seen any issues thus far.

> 24 hourThis is a steal for the price/performance. With Windows 10 my desktop literally boots in under 5 seconds to the login screen. Absolutely amazing.

> 24 hourBlazing fast, simple to install, must have for ANY system with a SATA interface! The perfect upgrade for aging systems to boost their speed. You wont believe how fast your system can be. Make sure you install Samsung Magic and configure you system for maximum performance.

> 24 hourI am so glad I switched to a SSD from a HDD. Boot up time went from about 3 minutes to about 25 seconds and everything runs faster. The included transfer utility worked perfectly for me on my Gateway computer.

> 24 hourThis SSD is very excellent. However what was not excellent was my knowledge of cloning existing drives to new SSDs. The software that came with the drive is super useful, unlike many other products. Do not try and clone your drive from your previous one using a dual bay dock with a clone feature. Do not try to install free third party software and clone your disk that way either (or paid third party software for that matter). I did both of those and failed miserably. Then I checked the cd and gave it a whirl. Turns out it has cloning software (made for Samsung SSDs only) that eliminates all headaches of making sure your UEFI settings are correct, or making sure you have a bootable Windows recovery USB, or making sure you are copying all of the right partitions, or even something simple like formatting the disk to remove the unallocated space. I spent almost a week trying to figure out these settings, before I thought about the software on the CD, and then I kicked myself because of how easy it was. The CD comes with two packages. Data Migration (Or Step 1) This will do all of the thinking for you. Once it has detected your SSD it will run you through the wizard, and asks super easy questions because it already knows which partitions you need. Most computers have a partitions set for drivers (aka the D:/ drive), I kept mine but read it is optional. Just set it to the smallest partition size possible if you keep it so it doesnt take up too much space. Using a USB 3.0 external enclosure for my new drive, the cloning process took roughly 30 minutes to copy 100GB. Other top free software took 4.5 hours. Step 2: Install new SSD. (Maybe put the old one in an enclosure and have an extra copy of your OS laying around, or use as a new external hard drive). Step 3 (Optional, but strongly recommended) - Install Samsung Magician. This will optimize your drive for you, and make the settings best for your system. It will run in the background, but with the new SSD this is no longer a problem.
