Price is very good, runs my son computer very, very good so I have not complaint at all... Easy installation as always.

I got this because it was on sale. I wasnt expecting stellar read performance and I wasnt disappointed. The write speed is abysmal. As soon as the devices write buffer fills up, the write speed drops down to barely above a normal spinning drive and half that of an SSD drive. Yes, Western Digital, I am blue about your drive.

Western digital has been caught red-handed, they changed the architecture of this drive without changing the model number. It writes at half the speed of previous versions of the same model number. When companies try and pull this crap, they lose me as a customer For Life. Dont support these jackholes

I had held off buying a new 1TB NVMe SSD as I thought prices were still too high. I grabbed this when the price dipped and Im really impressed by the speed increase over my previous SATA SSD. I wish I hadnt waited so long to make this purchase.

While not the fastest on the market, this is pretty fast for the price range. Super easy to install, USB port, good for every day use. We used this as an external hard drive and it did the job just fine. No issues with performance or installation. Good overall value. Solid 4/5 stars. Quite happy with this.
