> 3 dayI got this to be viewed in portrait mode. Still weird to look at, as Im used to landscape mode. The image is perfect for what I need. I use this to look at pdf files and other documents so I can see more of it at once with reduced negative space.

16-12-2024I use two monitors. I had two 22 inch Viewsonics that got damaged in our 6.0 earthquake last year. One cracked and one finally started acting flaky recently. Since I like them to match I decided it was time to buy two more monitors. I went to the local Frys and bought a couple monitors whose brand names I wont mention because I think they were counterfeits and wouldnt be fair to the company whose name was used. They were so bad I returned them and came home and got on the internet to shop for Viewsonics. I still needed DVI connectors which is what drew me to these. A little bigger was good too. (24) They were $40 each more than the junk I had returned. This price is in the moderate to low end but make no mistake there is superior design in these monitors. I am 110% happy. Great color great sharpness. Good speed for games. There is a game mode with these that I havent used because it hasnt been necessary. After I hooked them up my wife came to ask how I liked them. I said I now have 4 feet of wow.

> 3 dayNow that Im working from home again (thanks to Covid-19) I thought Id upgrade my personal workspace to match my office with dual monitors. I purchased 2 of these screens and LOVE them. Good solid construction and quality that I trust. Please note HDMI CABLES are NOT included unless you order it that way (I did not because I have several existing cables). I also used a WALI Dual LCD Monitor Fully Adjustable Desk Mount Stand which takes the 100 x 100 mm universal mounts. I did see a couple of monitors that were half the price through Amazon, which to be honest I did purchase because I have GDD (Good Deal Disease). I bought the other SCEPTRE monitors but had to return them because of bad HDMI ports. You can read my reviews on those screens. So after straying, I came back to ViewSonic and thrilled to be back. Everything worked as expected on the first try. Picture quality is crisp, clean, bright and light. My experience with ViewSonic has been, and continues to be, fabulous. Its a great value...so why by anything else?

> 3 dayI use two of these monitors daily at work for CAD work as well as programming machines. The screens provide crisp images of what I am working on. I enjoy viewsonic screens more then any brand. Viewsonic is easy to work with as well. Last year one of my monitors that I purchased from Amazon developed some dead pixels. All I needed to do was contact viewsonic, email pics of the issue I was having and I was told to send it to them and they would take care of it. A few days later a brand new replacement monitor arrived at my place of work. Very happy with their customer service. Viewsonic monitors have a 3 year warranty period, I had owned the monitor for two and a half years. Will continue to buy viewsonic monitors, once you pick one up and use them on a daily basis as I do, you will notice how inferior other monitors are compared to viewsonic.

> 3 dayWe have 20-30 of these throughout our business and they all pretty much work really well. They have 3 inputs which is nice because we have a lot of different model PCs with different video connections it makes it easier to match it up with different PCs The quality is just fine for office work, easy to mount, and seem to be lasting.

> 3 dayThe basic key to this purchase is the price offered for the combined LED, 2 ms response time, resolution, and the size of the monitor. Having used it for a week now, I can say its visuals are a great upgrade to the older models and the 21 inch. At the 1920 x 1080 resolution, the graphics in World of Tanks or Lord of the Rings online are fantastic, and there is no noticeable blurring as camera/action swings around. (Im running a NiVida GE 1050 card and a 3.2 ghz clock, so the monitor is tasked with plenty of signal.) Setup was simple with the DVI cable. Came with a VGA cable and audio cable as well. Audio cable is needed if you want to utilize the sound, which is nothing special. Two small speakers with sound emanating from behind the monitor. More than adequate for notifications or simple game sounds. But no one buys a monitor for the sound anyway, they buy for the visuals, and this serves up a visual feast, rivaling monitors costing an extra $50 or more. Negatives are a somewhat thicker bezel (read boarder) and an antiquated volume, contrast, brightness control system. Its one of those buttons brings up a menu, another one moves the arrows, the first one selects, a third one sets....etc. What a pain. Especially, when the buttons are on the bottom, back side of the monitor, not easy to reach. I found if you set the monitor visuals once and use your computer audio/volume to set sound, you dont have to use these much. All told, Id buy this again.

> 3 dayI needed to replace an old monitor for a dual monitor set-up, and was concerned with materials & construction quality and a defect-free display. So far, so good. No dead pixels or other defects noted, default settings out-of-the-box were fine, and there were no problems with monitor detection. Do be aware that theres VGA, DVI & HDMI but no DisplayPort connector (prevalent on graphics cards these days... To use as #2 monitor I needed a DP-to-HDMI cable).

> 3 dayTL;DR: Great picture quality that has held its own against video games running on the highest video settings and no issues with the coloring. Highly recommended. I liked this one so much that i just bought a second one so that i can have a duel monitor setup. I bought the monitor a little over 5 months ago when i was building a new computer that would be able to handle all of my college and gaming needs. I was really hesitant after reading about the washed out colors and people complaining about the contrast settings, but it was what i could afford at the time, so I got it anyway. I have no complaints. The coloring is just fine and the settings are really easy to manipulate if you want to change anything to meet your standards. Ive put hours of use into this this day in and day out and i have never had an issue with the picture quality. I run games on Ultra settings and the picture comes out just as beautiful as the $300+ screen that my roommate bought for his gaming rig 8 months ago. Im not saying that this could match up against video and picture editing computer screens (which tend to be $500+), but you will definitely get your moneys worth. The speakers are not the best, but they are monitor speekers and you can only expect so much (especially at this low of a price). If you want better speakers you just need to buy some for cheep on line, but these speakers will definitely get the job done until then. If you are looking for a gaming/home/work computer screen that will give you great, quality performance then look no further. I recommend using a DVI cable for the best quality.
