> 3 daySo this is the first M.2 device Ive ever bought. I didnt know they need screws and that my motherboard doesnt come with them. Thankfully my motherboard DOES come with a sizable heat sink and fan for an M.2 drive, but just one when it has 2 such slots, and an M.2 slot for wifi. Sadly none of them have screws.

> 3 dayLightning fast. My board isnt NVMe compatible but a $13 add-on card ( B07JJTVGZM) fixed that. Getting advertised speeds with very little heat. Amazing drive and at $100 its so worth it!

> 3 dayIt doesnt come with a screw to mount to your motherboard but for about 5 USD you can get a little kit that can help you mount it.

01-01-2025I built a new computer back in December and since daily driving it for a while now I can say that this SSD is extremely worth it, especially if you can get it into a proper Gen 4 or 5 PCIe slot. As a comparison I used to have Halo Infinite on a Samsung 850 Pro over SATA, and the initial load time was in the 30+ second range. With the game on this SSD it loads in less than a second. This is also helped by an upgraded CPU and memory as well, but its definitely the largest contributor to the quicker loads.

> 3 dayThis is the second one that I got. Cloned my previous drive over. The system loses the hard drive during boot up. Continually blue screens and then reboots. Takes over an hour to get to a stable Windows if it happens at all. Definitely will be looking for something else to replace it.
