A very expensive product for its value

It doesnt come with a screw to mount to your motherboard but for about 5 USD you can get a little kit that can help you mount it.

You can really see the performance when you conduct a SOLID defrag and what the data whip around so quickly.

I have had the 500gb drive for right at 5 months and it crashed on me. Put me in a boot loop and I was unable to use my last restore point or disc repair. I wiped the drive to reinstall windows. with it being an SSD its pretty impossible to recover any media. Everything is lost. When I reinstalled windows and did a disk check there were bad sectors found.

Western Digital provides a free version of Acronis TrueImage made for WD and Sandisk drives that makes it easy and fast to transfer your OS drive to the SN770. Drive is quick and so far reliable. Good value for $119.

I added this to a ThinkStation P390 with ease. Its expanded my storage and the 4TB platter drive I got in the bundle has given me adequate storage for my 3D / Digital art content. That said, Ive trusted Western Digital/WD drives for years and am very happy with this purchase.

Did not work in either a Dell 5070 nor a Dell 5080 as it caused random BSOD and immediate shutdown/reboot. System was so unstable that I had to remove the drive and put into a USB adapter to get the data off.
