WD_BLACK 1TB SN770 NVMe Internal Gaming SSD Solid State Drive - Gen4 PCIe, M.2 2280, Up to 5,150 MB/s - WDS100T3X0E

Ive always like WD black brand/model. Never had any problems in the past, particularly their platter HDDs version, that are still spinning up to this date. Got the 1tb SN770 model a couple of weeks ago, but have to pull it out from my new system in 2 days as it is unusually hot. It idles at 62 degrees celsius, and 89 degrees on full load. Bought two different types of heatsink for it, but still idles at high temp of 55 degrees. Will buy another of the same model (while still on sale), and hopefully get something thats within their advertised operating temp, hence 3 stars. This item is going back though.

Ive used 2 different SSDs before they would stop working or crash. Have used this for 6 mths and its by far the best, super quick and reliable

I needed something really fast on a budget, but I also needed at least 500gb of storage. I settled on this one and was not disappointed. It’s very fast and I will definitely buy another one for my next build

I dont believe this came with a motherboard screw, so be sure to source one while buying just in case. I was able to find a matching screw from an old laptop. Other than that, what else is there to say other than wow this thing is blazing fast! I quickly went over 1GB/s in real world file transfer speeds without even trying, and with a 600TB endurance rating this drive could last me for years. WD offers a 5 year warranty which means you would have to fill this thing up and empty it again every 3 days for 5 years straight in order to break the TBW threshhold in said time

You can really see the performance when you conduct a SOLID defrag and what the data whip around so quickly.

Great price for a small NVMe drive. Its not as fast as my Kingston fury drive but it gets the job done! Quick easy setup. Shipped in 1 day.

I installed this on a Z590 motherboard and instantly it was recognized. Definitely love WD products will purchase again in the future.
