Need to pay for a download a custom software to mirror the hard drive in old PC. Other manufacturers like Samsung provide them free.

This hard drive was to replace the version before SSDs. I wanted a larger capacity hard drive and now I have to put the older, slower one back in the laptop. Not happy. My son works with I.T. folks and at first it didnt want to work, then tried restarting it and the case has a melted spot.

This hard drive lasted only for a year had to go for a new one. This time I’m gonna try Seagate brand.

I bought 3 of these total and upgraded my work PC, my work laptop and my wifes PC. This was the best upgrade I have made to our computers in years and it was super low cost. Boot times are 100% faster. Its like getting a new computer but better. These were really easy to install and there are plenty of instructional you tube videos but you can be logical and figure it out. I have been running drives for about a month with no issues and best of all no sound. By nature SSD have no moving parts and whats noticeable is the lack of sound or noise coming from my computers now. All in all I would buy more but dont need more.
