> 3 dayThis is a great buy for the money. I striped these together in a RAID array to double the speed. Note I am a backup fanatic with both file and image backups. I have had other SSDs fail, these are solid and reliable so far.

Greater than one weekWrite speed is very slow, I get only 250 MBps max, ..and frequently goes down to single digit MBps transfer rates.. I used multiple laptops, with very high speed performing ones. We got another brand SSD, which consistently gave above 400 MBps for the same USB C external drive enclosure (which was rated for 10 GBps). Read speed is decent you can get upto just over 1 GBps, however write is not comparable for the money paid. As a backup drive, I need fast and consistent write speed. Not giving the value to me, or may be inconsistent quality.

> 3 day*Reliable* Western Digital solid state hard drives are 3 to 4 times faster than conventional SATA mechanical drives. They load the operating systems and access data much faster than mechanical SATA hard drives. These are a must in todays world. If you have the opportunity to upgrade your PC or build a new one, the recommended use is to load the operating system to a nice solid state Western Digital and keep a traditional mechanical sata drive as a STORAGE drive (these are so cheap these days). This is a tried and true method that works well! Just using this SSD drive ALONE with an operating system and for storage works well too if you dont have the opportunity to do BOTH drives in the same PC. *This 2.5 drive works well for laptops and desktop PCs*

Greater than one weekNot much to say, but very simple to install, and its a vast improvement over a mechanical HDD. If you want to speed up your laptop, then just go ahead and max out your RAM and get one of these. I have WD Blue in my other laptops, and I can see no discernable difference in performance between WD Green and WD Blue. I will only get Green in future. No need to waste money on Blue.

> 3 dayThe speeds are good enough for using this as home NAS. Time will tell how reliable this is, but it is surely more reliable then the bunch of 250gb ssds which were using a bunch of usb to sata adapters that it has replaced. So instead of 4 (some really old and crappy ssds) I have one 1tb ssd which will be used mostly as a place for downloads while the two 2tb micron ssds hold the stuff for permanent storage.
