> 24 hourFor an almost-24-inch monitor in the Ben Franklin price range, this thing fits the bill. The IPS gives it good off-axis viewing which is important in its use as a secondary monitor to surround my 32-inch main screen. I dont know thats youd want to use it for gaming, but for office work it fulfills my needs perfectly.

> 24 hourThis is a good basic monitor if you are going to use it for your office. I would not recommend it for gaming though.

> 24 hourGorgeous picture and great product. Exactly as described. Can’t be mounted on an arm though without a special adapter that is pretty much impossible to find. Even for models one number off, the adapters won’t work. Might be able to Jerry-rig something from the current stand but haven’t gotten that far yet. Not sure it’s worth it. Better to just search for a VESA compatible monitor and cut my losses.

> 24 hourGreat ACER monitor, fair price, I just wish it had VESA attachments for wall and stand mounting.

> 24 hourI bought two of these for a dual monitor setup. Unfortunately there are no instructions on installing the base of the monitor. The Quick Guide states that The monitor base is attached onto the monitor before shipment and it is undetachable. This is clearly false as nothing is attached to the monitor. Rather, there are two pieces included: A round base and a middle bracket. Attaching the middle bracket to the round base was easy to figure out. However, attaching the middle bracket to the monitor was not easy. On the first monitor, we tried different things and none worked. We then thought the base is pressure mounted so we tried to push it straight into the back of the monitor, and that broke two plastic tabs on the brand new monitor! On the second monitor we were more careful. After a few more tries, we discovered that you need to angel the middle bracket into the back of the monitor and then lift up for it to attach. If you do it right, it will work easily and quickly. If you find yourself forcing it in, then you are doing it wrong! Acer could make this easier for its clients by including installation instructions. Other than the above, its a nice monitor. I have a VGA and HDMI outputs on my computer so I used the VGA to connect to one and a 6 ft HDMI cable for the other monitor: TIP: If you need to use the HDMI port like I did, order the HDMI cable with the monitor as it is NOT included. They might have included it in the past as some of the reviews says it is included, but it sure was not included with the two monitors I ordered in Jan of 2019. Also, it seems there are two versions of this monitor: one with speakers and one without. The latter is more expensive. I choose the version without speakers as I already have external ones.

> 24 hourI bought a pair to use with my work laptop. Picture is very clear and vibrant. Much better than I was expecting for the price. Do note these don’t have an adjustable stand, one of the reasons for the great price.

> 24 hourI bought this monitor to replace an old Viewsonic model that had fallen off my desk and cracked. This screen is pretty good, it is rated for 60Hz but has no problem overclocking to 75Hz which is where I keep mine. It has very thin bezels --so thin in fact that I can no longer mount my webcam to the top of it as it hangs down into the picture space. One thing I am a bit unhappy about, and other reviewers noted, the whites on this screen are a tad on the yellow side compared to my old Viewsonic. It bothered me more at first but I think Ive gotten used to it and it looks fine to me now. The base for this monitor is pretty grippy too and the whole assembly is really light. Ive always been pretty happy with the value that Acer brings to the tech. world and this monitor is really no different. I am using this screen with one of Acers desktops and it seems a good pairing thus far. I run mine with an HDMI cable but one is not included in the box, just a VGA.

> 24 hourCompré u monitor de estos, de 60 hertz, el pasado mes de noviembre y se ha roto la pantalla. Dónde puedo encontrar un reemplazo de pantalla del mismo modelo y la misma marca que no logro encontrarlo. No lo he disfrutado esta inversión, todavía.

> 24 hourGood, but not fantastic. First, some positives, then my nit-picking: Packaged well. The box was not treated the greatest by UPS, with some minor crushing. The packaging was sufficient enough to protect the panel very well. No dead pixels. Even if a company has a good exchange policy for this, shipping back and waiting again is a pain. Zero dead pixels. (A special note, I will edit this when/if they do appear) Ok, now my nit-picking: There is a bit of backlight bleeding, but it is only really noticeable if youre using it in a darkened room. I usually have other lights on to reduce eye strain, so it doesnt effect me a whole lot. I think I was hoping for a bit richer blacks/contrast. Images and games that are variations of color and light look markedly better than my older Dell LCD, but shadows and darkness dont look much better. There is another reviewer who actually took a photo of this, and Im wishing I wouldve taken a little more time reading reviews. I think for me, personally, if I would have seen this in action before ordering/opening, I would have hung in with my 1080p Dell LCD from 2010 for another year or two before going to 4k or 1440p. Im not saying this is a bad monitor, just that I was investing in getting a bigger difference than what I actually got. Maybe the IPS screens I have seen were of higher quality in that department, and I mistook how much of that image improvement was due to IPS technology.
