> 3 dayIm a professional photographer, I have a BenQ as my main monitor, but I wanted to replace the crappy secondary monitor I had. The size is great. Very thin. Straight out off the box the colors look fantastic. However, compared to my newly calibrated BenQ, the Acer was more yellow. Not sure yet if Ill ever use it for editing, but its great overall.

Greater than one weekBest monitor for the money. Excellent viewing angles (178 degrees), sharp text, and vivid colors. Has a very sturdy base that the monitor sits on. All in all, a very good monitor for general use. I dont play video games. So the rating for gaming does not really apply to my use of this monitor. I also like the easy access to the buttons that control the monitor.

> 3 dayI bought one a couple of years ago and then bought a second one last year. Both still work well. I’ve never had any issues or screen bugs. I use it for work, gaming, editing, etc. Really good multi use monitor.

Greater than one weekGorgeous picture and great product. Exactly as described. Can’t be mounted on an arm though without a special adapter that is pretty much impossible to find. Even for models one number off, the adapters won’t work. Might be able to Jerry-rig something from the current stand but haven’t gotten that far yet. Not sure it’s worth it. Better to just search for a VESA compatible monitor and cut my losses.

> 3 dayFirst the pluses: Ive only had this one day, but it seems pretty good for general home office purposes. Its bright (had to turn contrast and brightness down quite a bit for comfort), text is clear and easily readable. Color looks reasonably good to me right out of the box, which is a good thing as I cant immediately see a way to fine-tune colors in Standard mode. There may be a touch more green than I would like in skin tones. I also really like that this monitor has both HDMI and DVI inputs. This was one of the few monitors I could find in this size & price range that still had a DVI connector, which I need with my older video card. As to minuses: My biggest concern, is that black and dark colors get washed out more than I expected, especially if my eye level level is near the top of the screen (or higher). If I elevate the monitor so my eye level is near the bottom of the screen, the contrast and black level improves a lot...but then Im looking up at it. And the stand has no built-in height adjustment. Similarly, if my eye/head position is lined up with the left side of the screen, the black levels on the right side get washed out. So, it seems to me that this monitor, despite being IPS, is still quite sensitive to viewing angles/position. Not so much with bright colors fading out, but with the black levels rising to hazy gray. The control buttons are small and unlabeled (and on the bottom side of the bezel). Its easy to hit the wrong one when trying to make an adjustment or work through the menus. (Its ridiculous that manufacturers dont label or mark the controls, functionality should always take priority over style.) But, for a nearly 24 screen at this price, maybe I ask too much. It seems like not that long ago, a 17-19 CRT was considered a large monitor and typically would cost $300 USD or more.

Greater than one weekFor an almost-24-inch monitor in the Ben Franklin price range, this thing fits the bill. The IPS gives it good off-axis viewing which is important in its use as a secondary monitor to surround my 32-inch main screen. I dont know thats youd want to use it for gaming, but for office work it fulfills my needs perfectly.

> 3 dayI’ve been using this monitor for the past year without issues and think it is a great product for the price. I work from home so I am a heavy user of my monitor. My old monitor was beginning to flicker all of the time which led me down a research rabbit hole and ultimately deciding between this Acer model and an HP. I opted to go Acer because it was slightly cheaper. I could not be more pleased. Connections: there are numerous ports that connect to different cords so it is a breeze to switch from my laptop to my husband’s laptop and our Chromebook. My laptop is 99% attached. Colors and clarity: my old monitor was old and small and pixel-y so anything was a step up. I had lower expectations for this monitor given the price and really just needed something that did not flicker. The first day I plugged my laptop in I was amazed by the colors and the clarity of everything. The Microsoft lock screen that swaps new stock pictures daily is absolutely gorgeous. My eyes do better when looking at Excels too. Size: I went with the 23.8 bc I did not want to get something obnoxiously large. I almost regret not getting the 27 bc the monitor is so light and thin. The 23.8 is nowhere near overwhelming and definitely is a great everyday size that blends into a workspace, but don’t be afraid to go big. Reliability: I have been using this exactly a year and the monitor has had no issues. It’s been great. I highly recommend this monitor for anyone looking for a great monitor that is thin and light at a great price.

> 3 dayBought this as a secondary monitor for my laptop at my home office. This monitor for the price is amazing. I’m going to buy a second one for a triple monitor set up at some point. My wife tried to steal for her laptop on her desk for a second monitor for her podcasts instead of using my old 2009 LG 22 widescreen. I love having a large 2nd monitor when working on spreadsheets and other documents. I have watched some videos on it and played some computer games using it. A little latency and ghosting, but light years ahead of old monitor.
