I love the controller and I think the material and purple color is amazing. However I bought this for Splatoon 3 and upon playing a few games with gyro, my discovery is that the gyro is crap for splatoon. You tilt in one direction then come back to center and it’s off, it’s off each time you tilt so it’s like moving the center of it. I checked the update for the controller and everything. It’s updated to the newest version. The back buttons are also a little too easy to press. I just have a dedicated profile thats unmapped, with the little profile button in the bottom center. Everything else about the controller is great, apps good, buttons feel good. The joystick placement is great as I’m a PS player and it feel natural to me. Kinda bummed on the gyro and honestly I’d recommend Nintendos Pro controller. I was wondering why splatoon pros don’t use the 8bitdo and now I think I know why.

Made very well (especially for a third party controller), D Pad is awesome and all of the buttons can be reconfigured.

Really liked the controller. I can connect it with my laptop, PC or phone to play whenever I want. The longevity of the battery is so good, I only charge it when not using, and every 3 or 4 days. The feel is amazing, and no lag between the device and the action. I pair it with a 8Bit clip to my phone, so I can play any game.

As a person who plays on a PlayStation, this controller feels so natural, and the fact it has the back pattles, reprogrammable buttons, macros, and much more useful features for less than an official pro controller, I honestly this this a must have for any switch owner!

I really wanted to love this thing! Build quality is excellent and the design is so freaking cool but if you have smaller hands, or are very used to a PS4 controller, this just simply isnt comfortable. The placement of the joysticks caused a lot of strain on my thumbs. Also felt I was reaching too far for the shoulder buttons.

Hands down one of the best controllers to get for the switch. Works great with both 2D and 3D games. I’ve been using this to play Breathe of the Wild and i rather use the sn30pro+ over the pro controller for Nintendo switch. USB C charging is nice since you can limit the amount of cables needed to charge it. Battery last a long time. I bought a second one cause I loved this one so much. Great buy!

I was interested in this controller after hearing about it and I can definitely say it lived up to my expectations. The controller is perfect for all the ways I can play games (minus PS4) but for Switch and PC, its very good for switch games and PC/Emulators. I havent found a definitive use for the back buttons but the profile switch has been helpful for games where I can switch from Switch to Xbox Layout. The additional items were a nice addition and were for a reasonable additional 5 dollars compared to the regular MSRP of the default controller. I did receive the case but not the keychain but I didnt find any use out of that keychain since Im really a big keychain person. The case is good but could barely fit the controller and doesnt really seem to be protective compared to 8bitdos official case but rather be easier to travel due to how small and compact it is. So to summarize the controller is really good and the case does a good job for whats its worth.

Ive always been a big fan of the clear electronic aesthetic. I wish it was a little bit more transparent, but thats just a small gripe. The buttons are all perfectly clicky, arent gummy and feel really nice. The color of the controller is really nice to look at and the lights of the controller can also be seen on the inside which is really cool. When the controllers vibrating, you can see the little spinning mechanism, too. The controllers plastic feels a bit more grainy (?) than the other 8bitdo controllers I own, which isnt a bad thing, just different. Overall, I love this controller and I definitely welcome it to my 8bitdo family collection.

The Pro2 from 8Bitdo is my favorite controller and I liked these color options online. IN PERSON... They aight. Very opaque. I got two of these and 2 purples. Theyre like all of 8bitdo products recently, great quality, and I love that the Pro2s also have a physical toggle switch to change input styles, no more remembering button combos. If youre looking for 90s translucent memories, these arent them.

This is my second pro+, 3rd 8bitdo controller, first controller was the SN30 Pro, but the buttons stuck after a few weeks. I did hear its the same components in the pro + (rubber pad underneath buttons) that tends to wear out fast. Then I decided to get the pro+ after I returned the pro model. The first one I got always had slight drift, just enough to make it annoying, then the buttons started to stick, returned it. Went with the official pro switch controller, both went bad fast (thats for a different review) decided to give 8bitdo one more chance, because all you hear is good things! Ordered this one, didnt get the bag though. Just didnt come with it. No way to request it without starting a whole return. Thats dumb. But it works still after 26 days! Hope it lasts longer because its almost past the return window now. Comfort is incredible, even if youre not a big D Pad lover (the d pad is amazing in this controller, best out of every switch controller Ive tried) the joysticks are easily reachable and comfortable. I personally havent had problems when two controllers are connected to the switch. The ultimate software is bad ass except YOU CANT ADJUST SENSITIVITY ON R & L TRIGGERS FOR THE SWITCH. Hopefully this gets fixed in an update. They are super sensitive and annoying all the time. Overall, best third party controller Ive tried for the switch, especially if it lasts. . . and Ive tried a lot. I will update my review if it messes up in anyway and let yall know how repairing it myself goes. And still bummed I didnt get the bag with it, but the keychain is dope!
