> 3 dayAl principio pense que el contraste seria muy pobre como para cambiar mi actual epson 2150, wow, la verdad, quede muy sorprendido lo bien que se ven las escenas oscuras y de hecho la luz en el telon fuera de la imagen ni se percibe, que es algo que te puede distraer, por supuesto la clave esta en evitar la luz en la sala.

> 3 dayWe purchased this for our boys for their Man Cave . As they would put it... this is LIT... We ran out of wall space, so Im sure it could project larger.... the 150 projection is magnificent. No need to turn the lights out to see...

> 3 dayThis unit works great! I repainted my wall with Screen paint I received from Home Depot and the picture quality is comparable to my LG OLED TV. Cant be happier with this purchase!!

> 3 dayI was hopeful that passage of time and technology improvements would make this a better projector than my unconverting 2k to 4k. ....not so much. :-(

Greater than one weekSDR quality is good, and HDR without the Wide Color Gamut filter is engaged looks very good...However, when the WCG filter is engaged, it adds a distinctly blue/green tint to the image. It doesnt just reduce brightness as I have read about. Wish I could watch in DCI-P3 HDR mode, but it just doesnt look good at all. Also, when I have a white on black image on the screen, say the white text on the Eco Blank screen, or white movie credits on black background there is a significant blue/purple shadow around the text. This is only noticeable up close, not really at normal viewing distance. Looks to me like chromatic aberration from the lens. Is this normal for this model? Finally, in 4k 24fps mode, there is a loud, annoying rattle. Maybe a fan, but I think its part of the pixel shifting mechanism...its quite loud. Maybe 2-3x louder than the fan, even on Normal lamp mode. The rattle does not occur in 30 or 60 fps modes..only in 4k/24. I really wanted to leave a 5-star review for this projector, since I decided to upgrade to this unit from the Optoma UHD50 that I was going to buy, but with the issues Im having, I just cant...I tried emailing BenQ tech support, but have not heard back from them in several weeks, and have tried calling their tech support phone number for several days now but cant get through, so not impressed with their customer service either at this point either... I havent decided whether Im keeping this projector or not yet. It has all of the features I want, and looks pretty amazing in SDR mode, so Im really hoping BenQ gets back to me soon and makes this right, so I can get the full benefit out of it. Maybe their Customer Service team monitors Amazon reviews more than they check their email or answer their phones...

Greater than one weekGreat projector! Purchased this projector to replace a Mitshibishi one I had for years and it didn’t have 4K. This projector with 4K has such a great picture I don’t know why I didn’t purchase it sooner. Very happy with the product. :)

> 3 dayI upgraded from the HT2550 I bought last year and I could not be happier. The HT2550 was a great intro to bringing affordable 4K projectors to the home but BenQ has outdone themselves with the new HT3550!!! Picture quality has improved vastly which is didn’t think was possible. This unit TRULY rivals the theater in ever way and that makes me happy to say as a lifelong cinephile. This is DREAM of a machine. Colors and clarity and unreal for a projector. Literally looks like I’m watching a giant Samsung or LG flat panel. Also throwing in the smooth motion feature has been one of my favorite additions. I get why some people aren’t a fan, and it definitely doesn’t work for all movies/shows. But throwing this feature on low goes that much future to improving the immersion of the whole experience. The smoothness brings LIFE to the picture in a unique way. BenQ must have updated the sound card as well because there much more clarity, space and deeper bass coming from this unit. My only gripe is that I can’t switch between sound modes. My “Sound Mode” feature is basically greyed out and stays on the default setting. It’s fine because it still sounds great but I’d love to test out the other modes as well. The unit is much fast that the HT2550 as well. Handshakes faster and menus aren’t as sluggish. This is a TRUE a cinematic experience for your home. For this price I can’t see it getting any better. Thanks BenQ!!!
