> 3 dayIf you are looking for a 4K projector but dont want to pay a ton this is the one for you. Great picture! It is above our heads- it is a bit noisy but nothing that is a game changer- It gets really hot too. Other than those two things great projector for the money.

17-12-2024This projector was a direct upgrade from an HT2050A and is my first 4K unit. I have to say, the sharpness of the image and richness of color continue to blow me away in the past few days Ive had it installed. The improved contrast due to the inclusion of a dynamic iris is an added bonus as well! My Home Theater is fairly small, being 11x13ft in size, so my front row is close to my screen. This was manageable with the 2050A as long as you didnt learn forward, but literally standing a foot from my screen I can hardly make out individual pixels. I skipped the 2550 last year because it seemed like it had a little too much baggage. But just like other reviewers have stated, I think BenQ nailed it with this projectors performance at this price point and many will make the jump over to 4K. Amazon for its part seemed completely aloof as to the stock situation with the HT3550, so fortunately I was able to acquire one elsewhere and couldnt be happier!

> 3 dayThe customer service is great - the unit was auto powering off with no notice or reason, and BenQ quickly issued a shipping label to return and replaced it quickly. Putting a lot of hours on it and working really well. Regarding the unit itself - Android integration is what sets this apart from others of similar quality. The ability to adjust the angle of the lens is nice for fine tuning. The picture quality is really impressive.

Greater than one weekThis review is for the GP500 model. Wow, this is a tremendous projector. I dont think I can ever go back to watching moves on my normal sized TVs. The picture quality is outstanding. The clarity on a huge 125 screen is mind blowing. The color contrast is excellent, bright scenes will make you squint your eyes and the dark scenes are very cinematic looking. The projector still does well even with a little ambient light, but its fully glory is only seen in total darkness. The sound is excellent, surprisingly. I can postpone my need for a sound bar (for now). All the features such as auto focus, auto keystone, etc are very helpful, though not perfect. I found the auto-keystone not working great when the projector is at a long distance and off-center. When the projector is closer it seems to work well. The projector is relatively light and small, so its easy to move around and position. Overall, I am REALLY impressed. I hope this projector will last a long long time. Theres only 2 hdmi ports, which is fine enough, I will end up needing an hdmi switch to hook up more things to this projector though. This projector is also LED, so it should last quite a long time. I will update this review in the future if the projector does not hold up well.
