> 3 dayIt is pretty noisy. The picture is great for the price point but after only 2 days I lost a portion of the screen to bad pixels. Update: after receiving my second unit, it came used. Nothing was in the original packaging and when I turned it on the lamp had 194 hours of run time on it. It sucks because it takes 37 days AFTER the return is received before you get a refund. So now I am out thousands of dollars and need to order a 3rd unit. I feel it only fair that I have to drop my review to 1 star.

> 3 dayThis Benq projector rocks! 3D is perfect - with a projection size of 120 inches is a total imersion - great experience - movies wich I found not so good now lock enhanced. I was wasting my time with a 3D TV a projector is the answer if you are a 3D enthusiast. 4K HDR with a dark room is fantastic - cinema at home! Although it is not meant for living room viewing I watched the Superbowl on it and even with some lights on it is perfect image. It has VIVID TV and BRIGHT mode to make it possible some living room experience. For me a perfect purchase.

> 3 dayThis projector is awesome. I have had four different projectors over the years. Obviously this being the newest it has become my favorite. It does not support Dolby Vision, my only down side and not worth marking down because I knew that when I bought it. It puts up a clear image and the auto iris is amazing. I run a Xbox One X on it and plays 4k content with easy. The video game responsiveness is perfect and think this would be a perfect addition. Brightness is also a plus on this. Total darkness is always ideal, I have mine in the garage and I will crack the garage about 6-8 inches for airflow during the day. It lets sunlight into the garage, not a lot, but i can clearly enjoy watching TV or movies on the projector. Load time is about 1-2 minutes from start to get to full brightness. Another quality product from BenQ

> 3 daySo we purchased this and got a dead pixel a few months later. We sent it back on RMA and got it back a couple weeks later. It worked for about a week and then a different pixel went dead. We tried to just love with it, but then a 3rd dead pixel. We just sent it back off today. The Epson we had never had an issue for 5 years, this has already been repairs twice and still getting dead pixels. I was very hopeful because of the good review, but if you have to send it in every 3-4 months, it really isnt a good deal. I hope they give us back a good one.

> 3 daySo.. my Epson 5350 started having this screaming alarm when i would put in a new bulb.. decided to get a 4k.. first got the cheap epson (cant recall model but you cant get a good focus over the whole screen, sent it back) The Benq has a great picture... zero complaints.. Cept the fan is very loud.. 12-21-21 So.. i have a stuck pixel, luckily its near the edge on the right but its there and annoys me..i have tried Pixel fixers and they didnt help..This is easily the worst projector i have ever owned. I own 3 mitsubishis going back over 10 years and all 3 still work perfectly. BENQs picture quality doesnt matter if they make them loud and with dead pixels. I wish i had sent this back when i could have... DO NOT BUY ONE! So..

Greater than one weekOkay so I currently live in a dorm so I cant utilize this projector to its fullest but soon Ill have my own theatre room. Anyway heres a short video of the projector in action. Just on my plain wall which is white paint. The blacks are actually amazing. I cant imagine what this will look like on a silver or black screen. I cant stress how good HDR looks! I own a QLED TV and wow this is comparable with the extra movie emersion! As you can hear the sound is not bad if youre on a budget and cant buy a surround sound system yet. No worries this can still deliver quality sound. No changes in settings. I just plugged it in and turned it on. Only adjustments needed were the focus ring. I also liked the remote. Especially the satisfying clicking feel and sound from pressing the buttons. Overall I have poor conditions for a projector setup right now yet this projector performs brilliantly. UPDATE!! 2AUG19: the blacks produced are so good I highly recommend a white or grey screen otherwise you lose the vivid colors. I only watch in dark so its pointless to have a black screen. UPDATE!! 10AUG19: got my new silver ticket white matte screen. This paired with the projector makes me feel like Im in the movie theater.

> 3 dayThe projection is great but it is not user friendly. Adjusting this projector is more difficult than it should be. The Google stick that it comes with doesn’t have Netflix.

> 3 dayI bought the ht3550 16 months ago. It has failed 4 times. Benq has sent me 3 of them and 1 was repaired. The DMD chip fails after 4 to 6 months. A white pixel will show up. Then before you know it , there are dozens. I returned the first one after 4 months because of big white spots. They sent a new one. 5 months later I sent it for repair. They sent a new one. 3 months later I sent it infor repair. Got a new one. Sent that in for repair and it was repaired. Customer service aint great so its a real pain. The last repair I asked for bulb replacement (4000 hours) and was told the bulb should last 20,000 hours. There is no way that it true. Its only 2000 lumens anyway. Turned out they were just out of stock on the bulbs. Thats a problem too. Customer service doesnt care about making things right so look at optoma or epson.
