> 3 dayGot this for my wife as a present. She was overjoyed. If she hadnt been I would have given it just one star. She used it a handful of times over a period of a couple of years. She liked what she used it for which was mostly moping tile, that is, until it stopped working and it became my problem. Exactly what you can expect of most consumer electronics these days. A quick look indicated that it was not getting water. A slightly deeper look showed that it was not an immediately resolvable issue. Of course, out of warranty; time to break out the screwdriver. Not easy to open but once I got it open (not for the lighthearted) and ran some tests they all pointed to the water pump. Took it apart and tinkered with it. After reassembly it was working. It worked for a few minutes before the pump bound up again. It is now in the gathering-dust-in-the-corner phase of its lifecycle. My recommendation: if you know you are going to be using this frequently you might get your moneys worth. Otherwise, at least in my experience, it would be more cost effective to just buy a mop.

Greater than one weekWorks as advertised. It cleans our tile floors without using any cleaning solutions - just the steam. We also use to clean the built up soap scum in the cultured marble shower stall. Its easy to see why Consumer Reports gave it a good rating.

> 3 dayWhile the device seems to do the job in most cases, it is exhausting to use. One must hold down a button for continual use. The cord is annoying to work with. Even storing it is up to the user. No hooks, etc. Overall, there must be a better version that it is less work.

> 3 dayAll I can say is wow! I have been on my hands and knees trying to scrub the dirt off the shower floor, but this tool did the job! I couldnt get it off, I have used multiple cleaners, bleach, everything. This did it with no effort. I have not used the mop yet, but have confidence after the work its done to my shower and kitchen floors.

> 3 dayWow!! I purchased this because of the good reviews and I am not disappointed. I have used the grout tool as well as the standard floor attachment. The various attachments are SO. Easy. To attach and most of them can be stored right on the device itself in an attachment trey thing. Really loving this so far! It would be even more awesome if we could use essential oils as well but I am not sure if the plastic is rated for oils. It’s self explanatory, easy to use. I love that it comes with a wall mount to store it. Only holds 2 cups of water at a time so prepare to refill frequently. It’s worth it.

> 3 dayIs this steam mop perfect? No nothing in life is perfect. But im still going to give it 5 stars. I live alone with two dogs, two cats and a gold fish. Now the goldfish doesnt make tooo much of a mess on the floors but these four legged punks do. My kitchen floor is that ugly moon textured vinyl. I mop about once a week and was doing a deep cleaning (hands and knees, scrub brush in hand) every few months and it about killed me. * Im in my 20s * This steam mop got right into those pesky textured spots like it was nothing. Yes after steam mopping the whole floor i still felt like i wanted to go back over it with a quick swiffer mop but holy cow it did a hell of a job, was 3/4 the time to do and it saved my knees/back. Easy set up, easy tear down, easy storage. it weighs probably as heavy as a jar of pasta sauce but you dont need to put much effort into it. I got the mint mop water with it and I cant smell it to save my life. If youre on the fence, just buy it. its worth the money xD

> 3 dayLove how light it is and easy to store with the included holder. My main complaint is the trigger for the steam has no lock so you have to squeeze the whole time. With arthritic hands its hard. I thought it would go under my furniture so I dont have to move it. Not so the angle of the mop and the shape of the mechanism doesnt allow it to go fully under the furniture.

> 3 dayThis cleans my bamboo flooring well. I steam cleaned my Windows and they look great (I used an e-cloth to wipe off the moisture). It also did a good job cleaning the tile around the wood stove. Next Im going to use to get the bugs off my windshield. Great little machine, much better than my old Hoover.

> 3 dayI bought this to replace a heavier, older vacuum cleaner. After an illness which has weakened me, I have had to replace heavy items with light ones and this is definitely lighter than most vacuum cleaners. However, whereas my old vacuum cleaner needed to strength to lift it and to push it along, this one needs strength to stop it pulling you along. It really pulls itself forward on carpet. It does a good job of sucking up grunge from the carpet. I like that one can see exactly what has been sucked up in the clear plastic dust canister. You do have to be vigilant about noticing the canister it is getting more than half full or if the suction is getting blocked by something the machine sucked up. An easy way to tell is that the sound of the motor changes when it is straining against a blockage. Very easy to empty the canister into the trash and to clear the suction nozzle. I’m happy with this purchase.

Greater than one weekIve been wanting a steam cleaner for weeks now, and after I finally settled on this model (following loads of scouring the web), I was so excited when it arrived earlier this week! I mainly wanted it to make life easier when cleaning the shower/bathtub, so thats the first thing I tried it on. Set-up was a breeze; I found the unit very easy to fill, and it is also very easy to switch out the attachments (but maybe too easy, as I accidentally twisted one of them off during use in trying to get the right angle). As I began work on the shower, I did appreciate how easily it loosened up the grime but quickly saw the drawbacks to this product as well. #1, the pad gets too wet too quickly, especially when youre using the higher steam setting. #2, the unit shows its weight when youre cleaning vertical surfaces. #3, the attachments cant pivot, and in combination with the size of the unit, I wasnt able to get all the way to the bottom of my shower door before it hit the floor. I would have had to turn the unit upside down, which Im assuming isnt a great idea. #4, the level of steam was fairly inconsistent. All in all, I would say mission accomplished in that I didnt have to put in as much elbow grease to get my shower clean, but the process actually seemed to take longer because the brush attachments are so small. Where the unit did well was in the cracks and crevasses, for which I used the grout attachment. It was able to get rid of dirt that Id never be able to touch by hand. I have yet to tackle a floor surface, but thus far, Id say jurys still out on whether its worth the $130 investment. Final verdict: The first run this Bissell had here was also its last. The drawbacks I outlined initially were too much for me to look past, especially the steam being inconsistent. I returned the item for a refund.
