This steam mop has been an excellent purchase! I wish I had bought one sooner. My floors feel so much cleaner after washing them with this mop. I usually spray the floor with some cleaner and let it soak in, then steam mop and done! Smells great and dries so fast! I only wish I had got a cordless model, sometimes dealing with the cord is annoying but that’s on me. The mop itself is great. I’ve used the attachments to steam off stuck on food on my childs high chair which wouldn’t come off with just a sponge. I love how it has so many cleaning attachments. I’ve steamed my shower walls, sinks, stove top, and scrubbed the grout. etc and it cleans so well. Great product.

This is my first review on a product, if that tells you anything. I gave it a 2 star because it’s not complete junk, but not enough steam power (not even on high). Steam was inconsistent. When I pulled the trigger there was a loud constant knocking/ticking noise the entire use. They whole thing vibrates to the point it irritated my hand and arm. I’m very disappointed because this was exactly what I was looking for.

I bought this to replace a heavier, older vacuum cleaner. After an illness which has weakened me, I have had to replace heavy items with light ones and this is definitely lighter than most vacuum cleaners. However, whereas my old vacuum cleaner needed to strength to lift it and to push it along, this one needs strength to stop it pulling you along. It really pulls itself forward on carpet. It does a good job of sucking up grunge from the carpet. I like that one can see exactly what has been sucked up in the clear plastic dust canister. You do have to be vigilant about noticing the canister it is getting more than half full or if the suction is getting blocked by something the machine sucked up. An easy way to tell is that the sound of the motor changes when it is straining against a blockage. Very easy to empty the canister into the trash and to clear the suction nozzle. I’m happy with this purchase.

Bought this to do cleaning but my wife stole it. Shes using it to take wrinkles out of our curtains after she washes them. This saves literally hours of ironing the curtains before putting them up. I now have to borrow it from her to use for my stuff. May be Ill buy a second one. Its very important to use distilled water to keep the steamer clean and without scale build up. Its still a bit heavy when filled, but doesnt really do much without being filled with water.

Ive been wanting a steam cleaner for weeks now, and after I finally settled on this model (following loads of scouring the web), I was so excited when it arrived earlier this week! I mainly wanted it to make life easier when cleaning the shower/bathtub, so thats the first thing I tried it on. Set-up was a breeze; I found the unit very easy to fill, and it is also very easy to switch out the attachments (but maybe too easy, as I accidentally twisted one of them off during use in trying to get the right angle). As I began work on the shower, I did appreciate how easily it loosened up the grime but quickly saw the drawbacks to this product as well. #1, the pad gets too wet too quickly, especially when youre using the higher steam setting. #2, the unit shows its weight when youre cleaning vertical surfaces. #3, the attachments cant pivot, and in combination with the size of the unit, I wasnt able to get all the way to the bottom of my shower door before it hit the floor. I would have had to turn the unit upside down, which Im assuming isnt a great idea. #4, the level of steam was fairly inconsistent. All in all, I would say mission accomplished in that I didnt have to put in as much elbow grease to get my shower clean, but the process actually seemed to take longer because the brush attachments are so small. Where the unit did well was in the cracks and crevasses, for which I used the grout attachment. It was able to get rid of dirt that Id never be able to touch by hand. I have yet to tackle a floor surface, but thus far, Id say jurys still out on whether its worth the $130 investment. Final verdict: The first run this Bissell had here was also its last. The drawbacks I outlined initially were too much for me to look past, especially the steam being inconsistent. I returned the item for a refund.

Worked well, only problem was trying to keep a good grip on the trigger, let up at all and it stops.

This product is very light but not enough pressure for any type of deep cleaning even when using the scrub tips all dirt does not come off

When I had my grubby living room carpet replaced with tile I looked into ways to keep it (and my existing dining room /kitchen floor) clean. Must suggestions pointed to a steam mop. There are lots and lots of choices out there. I settled on this Bissel unit because it came with lots of tools (e.g., for grout, and countertops) and options. You can clean lots of surfaces with it . . . just not paint, please! It comes with a mount that lets you hang the mop and accessories on a wall. A little velcro straps lets you neatly coil the very long AC power cord. The terrycloth like mop heads get grubby quickly. I ordered the unit along with a set of OEM cloth mop heads. This lets you do a big job without having to pause to wash the mop heads. My one caveat: The unit seems fragile. The water tank is clear plastic; dropping the mop could easily shatter it.

We bought this thinking it would leave our floors sparkling. However, I dont find it any better than just using a mop. A mop is much less trouble and cost 1/20th as much. I ended up donating this steam cleaner.
