At this day and age you would think they’d be better at steam production. A trigger lock would have been great too. When you have the extension pole in place to use as mop steam takes a while to get through the mop pad to start cleaning. Also the attachment point of the pole to the main unit needs to be stronger.

All I can say is wow! I have been on my hands and knees trying to scrub the dirt off the shower floor, but this tool did the job! I couldnt get it off, I have used multiple cleaners, bleach, everything. This did it with no effort. I have not used the mop yet, but have confidence after the work its done to my shower and kitchen floors.

Ive been wanting a steam cleaner for weeks now, and after I finally settled on this model (following loads of scouring the web), I was so excited when it arrived earlier this week! I mainly wanted it to make life easier when cleaning the shower/bathtub, so thats the first thing I tried it on. Set-up was a breeze; I found the unit very easy to fill, and it is also very easy to switch out the attachments (but maybe too easy, as I accidentally twisted one of them off during use in trying to get the right angle). As I began work on the shower, I did appreciate how easily it loosened up the grime but quickly saw the drawbacks to this product as well. #1, the pad gets too wet too quickly, especially when youre using the higher steam setting. #2, the unit shows its weight when youre cleaning vertical surfaces. #3, the attachments cant pivot, and in combination with the size of the unit, I wasnt able to get all the way to the bottom of my shower door before it hit the floor. I would have had to turn the unit upside down, which Im assuming isnt a great idea. #4, the level of steam was fairly inconsistent. All in all, I would say mission accomplished in that I didnt have to put in as much elbow grease to get my shower clean, but the process actually seemed to take longer because the brush attachments are so small. Where the unit did well was in the cracks and crevasses, for which I used the grout attachment. It was able to get rid of dirt that Id never be able to touch by hand. I have yet to tackle a floor surface, but thus far, Id say jurys still out on whether its worth the $130 investment. Final verdict: The first run this Bissell had here was also its last. The drawbacks I outlined initially were too much for me to look past, especially the steam being inconsistent. I returned the item for a refund.

I love using this instead of having to make a bucket of soapy water for my tile and laminate floors. I have a dog that has anxiety during thunderstorms or just hard rain. Occasionally, he will express his anxiety by urinating in my house (frustrating, but I would never consider parting with my rescue dog). This steam mop cleans up everything very well and I have put more than one pad in the washing machine with great success. I will never go back to a regular mop.

First, the trigger is a pain it needs a trigger lock. It does streak hardwood floors a little, but it could be I have to get use to using it. The grout cleaner sucks, but I was using it at the end of the extension. I will try it directly on the unit itself and let you know. It does clean the floors as the pad did get a little dirty. I tried it on a tough job, the garage floor which is epoxy. It did fair. So I will keep it but wished it was a little better.

I literally only used it twice and I have done everything to remedy the problem and it still does not work.

I rarely write reviews, but this powerful little steamer deserves one! We recently bought an older home and it took 20 year old tile floor grout from black to a beautiful cream. And I had already used about every home grout remedy and strong grout chemical out there. Wish I had taken before and after pictures. And the tile is textured with multiple shades of cream - or so I thought. The darkest color was actual just dirt- gross! This steamer is nothing short of amazing, no more strong chemicals here!

While the device seems to do the job in most cases, it is exhausting to use. One must hold down a button for continual use. The cord is annoying to work with. Even storing it is up to the user. No hooks, etc. Overall, there must be a better version that it is less work.

Easy to use great steam output!! It got dirt up I didnt know was there!! It got so hot it took off the sealer on my floor it was wrong type anyway just attracted dirt so I was super happy it peeled it off!! The only complaint was that I had to hold button non-stop to keep steam coming my hand got sore but Id buy again way better so far than others Ive bought that have broken. Im glad I chose the name brand over the cheaper ones!! I love that its several products in one!! I can clean ANYTHING!!! But extra mop clothes and I cant find where to buy extra smaller attachment mop cloth parts. Ya gotta hang it its not easy to store unless hung.

Did almost everything Id hope it would! Did a great job of cleaning the grout. I used small concentrating tool and the the stream powered in and the built up dirt washed out, so I could just wipe it away. I believe I can now maintain the clean by just using the regular floor tool. Faucets and stainless steel appliances looked like new. You dont realize how much of those spray and wipe products build up until you power it all off and see a real shine. Tile backslash in the kitchen came back to life. Also used to to remove soot that built up on the logs outside because the grill was too close. No product worked at all. BTW floors are more beautiful than ever, and I had used a different steam machine for years that finally died. Steamed the hinging curtains and they look so much better! It is light weight, has lots of tools to try out for different jobs. It did take some time to clean out build up pin grout as I mentioned and some areas, but now that they have been de-gunked, it should be easy to maintain the clean. Love it! It does get hot so read the cautions... I cleaned for hours, on less then 1 gallon of distilled water btw, and came out unscathed.
