My only complaint is that you have to hold the trigger in the entire time you are using it. If you have a weakness or arthritis in your hands or fingers, I would not recommend this item.

Is this steam mop perfect? No nothing in life is perfect. But im still going to give it 5 stars. I live alone with two dogs, two cats and a gold fish. Now the goldfish doesnt make tooo much of a mess on the floors but these four legged punks do. My kitchen floor is that ugly moon textured vinyl. I mop about once a week and was doing a deep cleaning (hands and knees, scrub brush in hand) every few months and it about killed me. * Im in my 20s * This steam mop got right into those pesky textured spots like it was nothing. Yes after steam mopping the whole floor i still felt like i wanted to go back over it with a quick swiffer mop but holy cow it did a hell of a job, was 3/4 the time to do and it saved my knees/back. Easy set up, easy tear down, easy storage. it weighs probably as heavy as a jar of pasta sauce but you dont need to put much effort into it. I got the mint mop water with it and I cant smell it to save my life. If youre on the fence, just buy it. its worth the money xD

Washed bathroom walls and tiled walls perfectly!

I love using this instead of having to make a bucket of soapy water for my tile and laminate floors. I have a dog that has anxiety during thunderstorms or just hard rain. Occasionally, he will express his anxiety by urinating in my house (frustrating, but I would never consider parting with my rescue dog). This steam mop cleans up everything very well and I have put more than one pad in the washing machine with great success. I will never go back to a regular mop.

Love it!! But holding the button down to use it non stop is RIDICULOUS!!!!! I dont have arthritis (diagnosed) or carper tunnel (diagnosed) but I can not go more than 4 minutes without my hands, arms and wrists cramping to the point I have to stop because of how much pain I am in from holding down the button consistently just to mop my kitchen!!!!! COMPLETELY DISAPPOINTED!!!! The fact they couldnt make it a one touch like pretty much every other machine was very disappointing and frustrating. Back to looking for a new machine and sending this one back. I really thought this machine was the one and it would have been minus the button issue....

I have a large family room, all tile that I wanted to clean the grout. We moved here 6 months ago and have 3 dogs...so the grout was dirty, but like I said new as of 6 months ago. Within 45 minutes I blew through the grout cleaner brush. The bristles bent down to a nub. I was trying not to scrub too hard, let the steam do the work. Same thing with the green round brush. I used that for about an hour and it was gone too. It took me about 2.5 hours to do 800 square feet of tile. Another thing that was annoying (I think all steamers must be like this) is that since the water needs to heat up, you get about 30 - 45 seconds of steam, then you have to wait about 20 -30 seconds for the steam to build up again. So you cant just continually clean. We bought all attachments, extra mops and the mint cleaner. If it wasnt a gift I would have sent it back, just due to going through the brushes so quickly. I just ordered 2 more of each.

The new Powerfresh is a huge upgrade over the old Bissell Powerfresh. It is easier to load the water, warms up quicker and the cleaning area is larger. We love it!

If you have arthritis or carpal tunnel, I would not purchase this model, you have to hold the steam button down continuously and it gets really old and its very uncomfortable. I have been shopping for a new one of these for at least a year. I had to leave my old one at the old house as I didnt have room for some things on the moving truck, moving across country... I have been trying to look for the older Shark that I had and have not been able to find it, you plugged it in, and the steam would just produce, no buttons to hold down and it removed all things on my floors, I rarely had to get down to scrape anything up. This one does not do that. Even a coffee drop, takes more energy/water than it should. I never had to fill the water reservoir more than one time when doing my floors with the Shark, now I have to 3 times. Id like to return it, but I was so sure this was going to be the one, just based on the brand! I tossed the box and inserts away, so Im stuck with it. I do not want anyone else to make the same mistake. The Shark steamer I purchased years ago, was a fraction of the price, and worked so much better, unfortunately i was unable to find that one, I suspect its been replaced with a cheap, breakable like everything else these days.

First, the trigger is a pain it needs a trigger lock. It does streak hardwood floors a little, but it could be I have to get use to using it. The grout cleaner sucks, but I was using it at the end of the extension. I will try it directly on the unit itself and let you know. It does clean the floors as the pad did get a little dirty. I tried it on a tough job, the garage floor which is epoxy. It did fair. So I will keep it but wished it was a little better.
