> 24 hourAs a professional house cleaner I’ve used countless carpet cleaners and tools, I have a white patterned rug in my own home that has been worn down by two dogs and my son. This carpet cleaner worked wonders, it not only worked well but did it quickly and efficiently. The tank is large enough to get through enough surface area so your not having to make a million trips. It is easy to keep clean as well. Overall I’m extremely happy with it would recommend it to anyone.

> 24 hourNeeded a carpet shampooer in general but especially because I have two cats and one is very picky about his litter box and it doesnt take much for him to decide to use the living room carpet instead. Looking through different models to find a decent budget one that wasnt too expensive I found this one and saw many good reviews. I decided to check if there were any used units available to save some more money and ordered one listed as used in good condition with cosmetic blemishes. When I got it in it turned out to be brand new. Everything was still wrapped and bagged, and neither water tank had any trace of ever being used nor had any odors. So the verdict? It cleans well but I have three minor quibbles with it. The first is the position of the power switch. Its on the back and almost at the bottom. This requires you to either bend down to the floor or lift it high enough to access it. Its not very heavy but still a bit awkward and I wouldve preferred a switch near the top or on the handle somewhere. The second thing concerns spraying solution. Commonly with upright shampooers youll start by moving it back and forth over the carpet while leaning it backwards at an angle with the head up off the surface and locked so you can spray cleaning solution as a presoak where needed. Then once the required amount of time has passed for the dirt and soils to have loosened and started dissolving you put it back down and shampoo like normal. With this machine however doing this will waste a good amount of the cleaning solution as it immediately sucks what looks like half of it back up. Im guessing either the suction is that strong, the spray nozzle is too close to the intake, or both. The third thing is minor and barely warrants mentioning but its still something I wish were different. The waste water tank is held down by clamps on either side. Youll have to bend all the way over and reach nearly to the bottom on both sides to snap them open. This isnt difficult and they snap open/closed easily but having used a different brand in the past where the waste water tank simply slid up and out, I wish it were more like that. I docked only one star for all of this. Its still a nice budget machine and Im satisfied with it.

> 24 hourWow! Here is what you need to know... Did a lot of research and read reviews on other products. Took a leap with the: Bissell TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner, 2987,Green/ Black Pros: Really does a great job!!! But, be sure to get the solution that has the effect you want. More about that later. The unit is light and easy to pull back and forth, just like a vacuum. This is also very easy to clean once the job is complete--especially like that you can truly deep clean this easily if you want or need. Nice suction and really like that you can go over the carpet again and again and that truly does speed up drying! Cons: The only reason I did not rate this five stars is that you do have to change the tank more frequently as other reviews mention. To be fair, I could have just purchased the larger tank machine but since I wanted a smaller overall machine to store I choose this one. I wish there was a way to spray the solution and agitate without suction. It feels like I am wasting product as when you have it in spray only mode there is still suction. About the Cleaning Solution: The unit comes with a free bottle of the Bissell Deep Clean Pro 4x Deep Cleaning Concentrate(1) solution. I did not use that at first as I choose to buy and use the Bissell Professional Pet Urine Eliminator with Oxy and Febreze Carpet Cleaner Shampoo because I like the smell of Febreze (2). Here is what I learned about the difference between solution 1 and 2: 1) Pro 4x: did a better job on the wear stains from shoes and dog tracks; I ended up buying a large size of this solution! 2) Oxy and Febreze: did a decent job cleaning and has a powerful Febreze smell which neutralizes any dog/cat smell! I like the smell of febreze smell but if you are sensitive to smells you may not like this as the odor is strong.

> 24 hourFirstly, for context I just got this carpet cleaner today and used it for ~3 hours. If I have any issues with it in the future I’ll update. Right now, I’m super happy! I was in the market for a carpet cleaner to clean our nasty rental carpets and to have on hand for pet messes. I poured over the reviews for all the sub-$130 machines on Amazon and this one seemed to have the most positive ones. The machine is very easy to put together and use. You snap the handle together, snap in the dirty water tank, fill and snap in the clean water tank, and you’re ready to start cleaning. If you’re looking for something to clean smaller areas, like rugs or pet accidents, this machine is ideal. I have a small-ish apartment and using it over my whole living room was time consuming and took a LOT of water changes (especially because the carpet was gross), but doable. If I had a large house worth of carpet I would’ve wanted a bigger machine. But for my situation I’m okay with spending more time for less money. If you’re willing to spend more to save time and/or you’re wanting to cover a large area, look elsewhere. Pros: * Very lightweight and compact. * Easy to assemble and use. * Good suction. Cleaned out old stains in my carpet with just a few passes. It pulls most of the water out so your carpets get cleaner and you’re not left with soaking wet floors. * Separate tanks for dirty and clean water. Dirty tank is much bigger so there’s room for suds. Cons: * Small tanks. You run out of clean water and/or need to empty very frequently. It took me about 30 mins to do one pass of a 10x10 foot area, for which I needed to empty the tanks probably 3-4 times. * Small width, so it doesn’t cover very much surface area with each pass of the machine. This also means you spend more time to cover the same area. * The brush is cylindrical and spins like a regular vacuum brush. I was actually surprised at how much staining it got out, but for very dirty or ground in stains you would probably need to pre treat and scrub by hand to loosen them up before using this machine. * No attachments, like you’d use to clean furniture or car seats. Tips for using: * Vacuum VERY WELL with a regular vacuum before using this machine. If you have pets and fluffier carpet, I recommend getting some type of carpet brush to pick up embedded fur. * To use this you fill the clean water tank with hot water plus whatever cleaner you want to use (there is a mark on the water tank for each), then hold down the trigger in the handle to dispense the clean water and let go to suck it back up. * The directions recommend going forward and back with the trigger held, then forward and back with it released. I recommend going forward/back with the trigger held once, then repeat without it held until the carpet feels reasonably dry. The reviews that complained of sopping wet carpets were probably either holding the trigger down for too many passes, or not going back over enough times to suck up water. * GO SLOWLY. Especially as you are pulling the machine back toward yourself. If you go too fast it won’t have enough time to suck water back up. * Use hot water. The directions say 60C/140F. I used very hot tap water. * A little soap goes a long way. IMO just a splash of soap is enough, this was enough to pull up a lot of foam (and dirt) out of my carpets. Just plain water will pull out dirt too. * Do a pass with soap over the whole room, then go back with only water in the tank to get the soap back out. Repeat till water runs clear. * Some reviews complained that the dirty tank leaked. It won’t if you pull it straight up and out of the cleaner and then hold it upright until you empty it. If you turn it upside down then flip back upright it will leak a little out the bottom. Also, make sure that it’s properly attached when you click it back in. * If your carpets are really gnarly like mine, expect to spend a lot of time on them (maybe even a multi-day project as you complete individual rooms). I did 4 passes over the room and was still getting dirty water coming up. If I used an industrial strength machine I probably could’ve done less passes, but I’m willing to spend more time since I saved some money buying this machine. Overall, I think this is a really good purchase IF you know what to expect. Is this a professional level machine with tons of power and a huge water tank? Definitely not. Can you get a professional level clean with this? Maybe, but it’s going to take quite a while. If you want to save yourself some money but have the time to spend, and not a huge amount of area to cover, this little machine is a good option. Carpet cleaner rental near me is $60 a pop, not including attachments or soap. I was willing to spend a little more to just buy this even though I knew it would probably take me longer, the convenience of being able to use it whenever I want is worth it to me.

> 24 hourMy carpet is very old but with 2 old dogs, I’m not ready to change it now. The carpet cleaner worked great, dried fast, and left my carpet soft. I used solution recommended with cleaner. I was very happy for the results and price.

> 24 hourI havent used many carpet cleaners, but I cant imagine theres very many that are as convenient and effective as this one. I bought it to clean area rugs and upholstery. Ive only used it once, but it did an excellent job. It made quick work of a couple of very dirty area rugs. And the upholstery attachment worked perfectly to clean a fabric couch and a couple of chairs. It was easy to set up, fill, use, and clean afterwards. I really like this unit, and I highly recommend it.

> 24 hourI ordered this BISSELL TurboClean DualPro Pet Carpet Cleaner and a part came broken/missing. I called Amazon thinking they’d have me contact Bissell for that individual piece, or perhaps they would call Bissell. But NOPE, (!!) they opted to just send me a completely new shampooer!! Totally blew me away… Now that’s GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Might I mention I had already used the shampooer and it works like a charm, cleaning my carpet to a new condition!! Very, very, pleased with it!!

> 24 hourIt definitely cleans the carpet very well. You do have to fill and empty often but wasnt a big deal. I would be great if it was easier to clean funk from the roller and everything but overall would recommend

> 24 hourI have a 3yo female doberman and have a large fenced in backyard that, since adding my girl to our family, has become a dust bowl. Worse, every time it rains, it becomes a mud bowl. Somehow, even wiping her down and washing her paws off when coming in from outside doesnt seem to help and dust and dirt had accumulated on our singular area rug to the point where I felt disgusting just existing in the same room as it. We have hardwoods throughout the rest of our home, so initially I was considering the smaller, spot-type cleaner also made by Bissel. I ultimately decided to purchase this one because the price was a bit cheaper and after reading some reviews I decided that it would be easier to clean a larger area with this one due to the vacuum style design. Off of my initial use, the pros: -super easy to assemble. My toxic trait is never reading instructions for anything, and this snaps together in under five minutes out of the box. -the device comes with a small sample bottle of the rug cleanser. Im not sure if using a different cleanser would destroy the device, but better safe than sorry. I had ordered a regular size bottle of the stuff but was pleasantly surprised to see it included. I used this for two cleans and still have like half a bottle -pretty great suction power -intuitive use. Like everything, theres a bit of a learning curve. Initially I couldnt find the lever that would allow the body of the device to angle like a normal vacuum (again, probably a non-issue if youre the type to read instructions). I found it within 2 minutes, and the thing worked like a dream after that -filling the clean water tank/emptying dirty water tank super easy and straightforward. Cons: -The device is made up of 2 tanks, one for clean water for the machine to use and the other for dirty water. The dirty water tank is actually very large, but the fill line is like 1/3 of the way down which is a bit visually deceiving. The suction power of the vacuum will be compromised if the tank is very close to full too, so you may find yourself emptying the tank multiple times during a cleaning depending on your area. -Leaves the rug a little bit wet after cleaning. Its hardly noticeable if you have socks on, but you will notice it on your bare feet. I suppose the wetness depends on how much you saturate the carpet when cleaning it Overall, super happy I purchased this. I was going nuts looking for a rug cleaner that would actually work and not break the bank and Im over the moon. Now I dont care how muddy my dog gets lol.

> 24 hourThis has no bells or whistles and I didnt have high hopes when I opened the package and saw how small and flimsy it looked. But I was pleasantly surprised with the results! Ive only used it 1 time, so I dont know how long it will last, but it did a pretty good job getting all the dirt out of the 1 area rug I have. The cleaning solution that came with it worked great with no residue left behind!
