> 3 dayWow this carpet vacuum did the job! Resorted our whole basement and was even able to navigate the stairs. I was so impressed. Pro tips, definitely vacuum first to get general dirt and debris. Second tip, it does seem to go through a lot of shampoo. Might want to get two if you are doing a large area.

Greater than one weekThis thing sucks in a great way. The specs say 8 Sq feet but it does a lot more. The smaller capacity buckets are perfect size, imho. Larger machines get super heavy with both the fill and waste side. The best part is it sucks up a ton of water and debris from the carpet. Replaced a very old Hoover and I don’t regret the purchase one bit.

> 3 dayI received this thing on February 14, 2023 to replace a competitors machine that broke after only a few uses (I know. I should have read the reviews, but it was a very popular, trusted brand, so I trusted them. Silly me!) Well, this one did the same thing. It worked perfectly when it worked, but this morning I went to use it and it died. It smelled like rubber burning and then made a wretched noise so I turned it off. I called Bissell since it was past the return to Amazon date and they were awesome! They said theyd send me a new one to replace it and I didnt have to beg, threaten or plead with them to make things right. I asked if I could pay for an upgrade instead of getting the same one, but they said Id have to talk to Amazon about that, so Ill do that and, hopefully, I can pay the difference and get a sturdier model. Either way, Im very impressed with their customer service and, if the new shampooer works, Ill be even happier!!

> 3 dayI have a 3yo female doberman and have a large fenced in backyard that, since adding my girl to our family, has become a dust bowl. Worse, every time it rains, it becomes a mud bowl. Somehow, even wiping her down and washing her paws off when coming in from outside doesnt seem to help and dust and dirt had accumulated on our singular area rug to the point where I felt disgusting just existing in the same room as it. We have hardwoods throughout the rest of our home, so initially I was considering the smaller, spot-type cleaner also made by Bissel. I ultimately decided to purchase this one because the price was a bit cheaper and after reading some reviews I decided that it would be easier to clean a larger area with this one due to the vacuum style design. Off of my initial use, the pros: -super easy to assemble. My toxic trait is never reading instructions for anything, and this snaps together in under five minutes out of the box. -the device comes with a small sample bottle of the rug cleanser. Im not sure if using a different cleanser would destroy the device, but better safe than sorry. I had ordered a regular size bottle of the stuff but was pleasantly surprised to see it included. I used this for two cleans and still have like half a bottle -pretty great suction power -intuitive use. Like everything, theres a bit of a learning curve. Initially I couldnt find the lever that would allow the body of the device to angle like a normal vacuum (again, probably a non-issue if youre the type to read instructions). I found it within 2 minutes, and the thing worked like a dream after that -filling the clean water tank/emptying dirty water tank super easy and straightforward. Cons: -The device is made up of 2 tanks, one for clean water for the machine to use and the other for dirty water. The dirty water tank is actually very large, but the fill line is like 1/3 of the way down which is a bit visually deceiving. The suction power of the vacuum will be compromised if the tank is very close to full too, so you may find yourself emptying the tank multiple times during a cleaning depending on your area. -Leaves the rug a little bit wet after cleaning. Its hardly noticeable if you have socks on, but you will notice it on your bare feet. I suppose the wetness depends on how much you saturate the carpet when cleaning it Overall, super happy I purchased this. I was going nuts looking for a rug cleaner that would actually work and not break the bank and Im over the moon. Now I dont care how muddy my dog gets lol.

> 3 dayThis was so easy to use! Just like a vacuum cleaner, lightweight and does a great job at cleaning the carpet. I have tan carpet, recently purchased my home and was full of twins. The stains came right off. AMAZING!!

Greater than one weekBefore I bought the Bissell TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner, 2987,Green/ Black, I was a normal person. A normal person with a dark secret. You see, my carpets were always dirty. For some reason, stains took to my carpets like moths to a flame, college students to a bar, women to broken men…you get the idea. Stains and my carpet were intertwined, inseparable, and indissoluble. I spent hours strategizing how to clean these carpets. A normal vacuum would inevitably give up, choking on the mess of cat hair, litter, and who knows what else. I spent hours contemplating what to do. Some days I would take a broom and brush all the gunk off. I bought every pet stain remover and deodorizer the grocery store had to offer. More often than not, I was left with an immovable stain outlined by white residue–which would in turn become part of the landscape of my carpet. I was despondent. Nothing was working. I was doomed to my perennial fear: a house that smelled like “cat”. You know the smell. I could feel it clinging to my clothes. God forbid I ever drop an article of clothing on the floor. I feared dropping food on the floor, knowing that it would render the food unfit for human consumption. I bought a Bissell vacuum a while back, and while it cleaned my carpet of the top layer of filth, I knew I needed something that would reach deeper. Something that would claw its way to the depths of my carpets and purify them of every morsel of dirt to ever sully them. Then, the Bissell TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner, 2987,Green/ Black appeared in my suggested purchases feed. Readers, that was when everything changed. I stared at the screen and thought to myself: my life as I know it is about to be upheaved. Ecstatic, I placed the order for the Bissell and the pet stain and odor removing fluid. A few fateful days later, and I had the package in hand. The setup was simple, even for a person like me, who once cooked spaghetti wrong. The instructions, with clear visual guides, resulted in something beautiful: a Bissell. But there was still work to be done. Determined, I filled the clean water tank with appropriately hot water and the correct proportion of fluid. I plugged the Bissell in and took a deep breath. This was the moment of truth. I pressed down on the scarlet on button and was greeted with a resonant “vroom”. I pressed the nozzle and swiped back and forth. And then I did it again. I could see the dirty water piling up with each swipe, frothing in the bottom of the Bissell. Frenzied, I cleaned one room after another, marveling at the murky color of the water. When I finished, I looked around and felt my soul lift up. My carpets were finally clean. An easy, affordable carpet cleaning machine that gets the job done. I would recommend this to my friends, family, strangers on the street, and even my enemies. Because no one should have dirty carpets. My wedding vows will not be “I do”, but rather “I Bissell”.

Greater than one weekThis is a great product to use for smaller areas. I’ve used the large cleaners you rent at the hardware store many times. They have their uses. But for the normal situation at home this more than adequate. Easy to use, lightweight, easy to handle, this unit cleans well where there are light to moderate levels of dirt. We like it very much. One note: while this unit doesn’t flood your carpet with solution, the solution does penetrate to the back of the carpet. We found it very helpful to place an old shower curtain between the carpet and pad and to expose the back if the carpet to the air for drying. We also utilized a fan. We do not know how this unit works with wall to wall carpeting, just how it works with large area rugs.

> 3 dayI love how this cleans the carpet. The key is to clean in small sections and go over a few times so get all the water up. The main thing I don’t like is even with vacuuming this cleaner will pick up a lot of extra hair which is great except it doesn’t have a place to dispense it so it just gets stuck in the brushes so I’m constantly stopping and pulling fur out. As far as how it cleans I love it. I wish it had upholstery attachments

> 3 dayPet messes are a package deal when it comes to owning a cat or dog or any pet that is capable of puking or peeing or pooping on the floor. This carpet cleaner works very well and is super simple to use. Its got a small tank so it doesnt take long to fill up. Its not intended to scrub the whole house so dont expect it do so unless you plan on continuously emptying the reservoir multiple times. It is specifically for spot clean up. It works very well and is easy to take apart to clean after each use. No more stress of stains or smells after your pet has an accident. The Bissell carpet cleaner will take care of it.
