Before I bought the Bissell TurboClean PowerBrush Pet Carpet Cleaner, 2987,Green/ Black, I was a normal person. A normal person with a dark secret. You see, my carpets were always dirty. For some reason, stains took to my carpets like moths to a flame, college students to a bar, women to broken men…you get the idea. Stains and my carpet were intertwined, inseparable, and indissoluble. I spent hours strategizing how to clean these carpets. A normal vacuum would inevitably give up, choking on the mess of cat hair, litter, and who knows what else. I spent hours contemplating what to do. I stared at the screen and thought to myself: my life as I know it is about to be upheaved. Ecstatic, I placed the order for the Bissell and the pet stain and odor removing fluid. A few fateful days later, and I had the package in hand. The setup was simple, even for a person like me, who once cooked spaghetti wrong. The instructions, with clear visual guides, resulted in something beautiful: a Bissell. But there was still work to be done. Determined, I filled the clean water tank with appropriately hot water and the correct proportion of fluid. I plugged the Bissell in and took a deep breath. This was the moment of truth. I pressed down on the scarlet on button and was greeted with a resonant “vroom”. I pressed the nozzle and swiped back and forth. And then I did it again. I could see the dirty water piling up with each swipe, frothing in the bottom of the Bissell. Frenzied, I cleaned one room after another, marveling at the murky color of the water. When I finished, I looked around and felt my soul lift up. My carpets were finally clean. An easy, affordable carpet cleaning machine that gets the job done. I would recommend this to my friends, family, strangers on the street, and even my enemies. Because no one should have dirty carpets. My wedding vows will not be “I do”, but rather “I Bissell”.

Bought this new house with tons of carpet 2 months ago. Vacuumed the whole house with my Dyson then had professional carpet cleaning come. Master bedroom and office had strange smell that wouldn’t go away. I received this Bissell 3 days ago. I cleaned every room twice using the deep clean option and the smell is finally gone!! Had some weird pet hair come out, which I didn’t even know it was there (probably previous owners pet). This machine is better than Dyson, which is an expensive vacuum. I’m extremely impress and can finally breathe in my room. Highly recommend.

I have purchased almost every brand of carpet cleaner over the last 25+ years. From very expensive ($500) to this one. This works as well as the larger carpet cleaners! It does have smaller tanks, so you have to refill/empty more often. It takes up less storage space. It is lightweight. For this price, it is affordable to replace. It has been working very well and I have had no issues with it. When it breaks, I will buy another one immediately!

I ordered another small unit just to clean up pet stains and it actually didn’t work at all, it was another vendor. I called product service and was advised to return it. So I started reading the reviews again on Amazon and watching customer videos and decided to give Bisdell turbo clean power brush pet a try. Well it came in a day and I used it the same day it arrived. It works great. I have a few area rugs and have a 6 month old puppy. The Bissell is easy to put together just a few slide on pieces, instructions are clear and I cleaned all four of my area rugs. I was truly amazed how great the rugs look now. I certainly was paying the carpet cleaning a lot more than what this Bissell cost, very affordable. I highly recommended it. Just follow the instructions and it will work great!

This worked better then a rug doctor or industrial BS they try renting you at the stores. My landlord never changed the carpets boxing in, I couldnt look at it anymore without thinking ewwww constantly. I didnt even want to look down. No have washing, products and vacuuming could of cleaned this, this beautiful. Im beyond satisfied and in love. Thankyou

Carpet Cleaner Bissel Model 2987 - Unless you are cleaning the whole rug, get this small model which is easier to handle and easier to clean. It seems to do as good a job as a larger one I used until it broke. Natures Miracle Oxy formula is the best carpet solution I have found. Go over the area several times slowly to let the brushes clean the carpet. Turn on a fan to dry the carpet. Lots of fun in the middle of the night!

Was worried this vacuum would be bulky as sometimes these can be but this one is a great size and works really well! Spilled coffee on my rug a while ago and the Bissell cleaned it up well. Would definitely recommend. Super easy to assemble and use.

The last time i bought a carpet cleaner was maybe 20 years ago. I feel like there must have been some advances in the technology because this cleaner was lighter, faster, and so much better than my older one (even when it was new) I finished my living room and hall in maybe an hour and a half where as before it’d take me half a day. Carpet also dried in just a few hours. Its been a few weeks and my living room carpet still looks great. I’m very impressed!

This isn’t a carpet shampooer, it’s a MIRACLE worker. Most of my house is tile and laminate but there is carpet in my bedroom, office and then there is this 7x10 rug in the living room. I purchased the rug secondhand on market place and it needed a deep clean. My other carpet cleaner stopped working and I was desperately in need for a fix for this rug (as you can see in the photos). I have three dogs that shed like it’s their only job on this earth. I literally vacuumed over this rug non stop for 25-30 minutes straight making sure that I got it as clean as possible before shampooing. AND YET the shampooer pulled up hair that the vacuum couldn’t quite get!!! Pros: - I love that it is light weight and doesn’t hurt my back at all to use. - It is super easy to put together/ very user friendly. - It obviously does the job it was intended to do. - A little spray goes a long way for each spot. - The suction was strong enough that my carpet was barely damp at all after going over it a few times. Cons: - The formula tank is small and I had to refill it a second time just doing the 7x10 foot rug. - I wish the cord was just a smidge longer. - It didn’t completely remove stain. (However it was ketchup and it did better than I expected. So honestly I can’t really be upset at this). Overall, this is a GREAT investment and for the price I don’t believe you can find a better product. Do yourself a favor and buy this one. I went back and forward on a different option before buying this and I am SOOO glad I did.
