> 3 dayThis product is amazing. We just moved into our new apartment and after putting our area rug down from our old apartment, we noticed that our dog had soiled the same area repeatedly, but now we were able to smell the stench. I tried so many thing to get rid of it and finally bought this unit. Let me tell you, it did wonders and removed the pee stains and to our surprise, picked up so much dirt!!! Highly recommend this to apartment renters who need an apartment friendly carpet cleaner! 10/10

> 3 dayI love how this cleans the carpet. The key is to clean in small sections and go over a few times so get all the water up. The main thing I don’t like is even with vacuuming this cleaner will pick up a lot of extra hair which is great except it doesn’t have a place to dispense it so it just gets stuck in the brushes so I’m constantly stopping and pulling fur out. As far as how it cleans I love it. I wish it had upholstery attachments

> 3 dayThis is a great product to use for smaller areas. I’ve used the large cleaners you rent at the hardware store many times. They have their uses. But for the normal situation at home this more than adequate. Easy to use, lightweight, easy to handle, this unit cleans well where there are light to moderate levels of dirt. We like it very much. One note: while this unit doesn’t flood your carpet with solution, the solution does penetrate to the back of the carpet. We found it very helpful to place an old shower curtain between the carpet and pad and to expose the back if the carpet to the air for drying. We also utilized a fan. We do not know how this unit works with wall to wall carpeting, just how it works with large area rugs.

> 3 dayI received this last week. I have cleaned 3 carpets so far. I have a handheld spot cleaner and a very large sanitaire machine that holds 6 gallons of water. This machine is so easy to use. In a weird sort of way, its almost fun to use. Its great for traffic areas that take a beating. Other reviewers mentioned the small tank size. For me, it wasnt a problem. At least the water stays hot while I am cleaning the carpet. If the suction stops working, it means the float has popped up and the machine will not suck up any more water. You need to empty the tank. You can hear the change in the sound of the machine when that happens. Also, make sure the top gray cap is pushed in all the way. Some people said they need two hands to push the machine because the handle doesnt move back. There is a lever to step on so you can pivot the handle back just like an upright vacuum. For the people that have leaks, make sure the ring around the float is not cross-threaded or loose and the cap on the clean water tank is screwed on properly and snug. Of course make sure you have connected both tanks to the machine properly. I snap down both handles on the dirty water tank at the same time when I put it back on the machine. Some tips: * Make sure you thoroughly vacuum first. Really. * Use very hot water from your tap. Dont boil water and use it. There is a max of 140 degrees listed on the clean water tank. * Use the smallest bit of carpet soap. Dont use laundry or dish soap. Add white vinegar to the clean water tank too. * If you have really dirty areas, you can use the machine without the dirty water tank in place. That way you can get a fair amount of cleaning solution into the carpet. Then attach the dirty water tank and suck it up. Dont get the carpet too wet. * After you are done, put only hot water (no soap) in the clean water tank and go over the carpet again. Leftover carpet soap residue attracts dirt. * To extract as much water as you can from the carpet, lean over the machine, loop your hand under the handle on the dirty water tank and push the machine while pressing it into the carpet. * Set up a box fan on high until you are sure the rug is dry. Dig your fingers into the carpet fibers to check. * After you are done cleaning, open the side gray cap and dump the dirty water. Unscrew the ring from the float assembly and clean the float too. Put the float and ring back together. Leave the side gray cap open. * I put the cap from the clean tank inside the cleaned out dirty water tank. Unscrew the ring on the float assembly so you can put the cap inside. I put a paper towel under the clean water tank and slid it back on the grooves so it can air dry. * Take the machine to your sink without the tanks. I was amazed how much cat hair and grit there was stuck underneath. Give the underneath a good spray and check the red rubber bar next to the rotating brush. * I put it up on two wood blocks so the bottom can dry. * Pet stains are a two part cleaning project. Theres the stain and theres the odor. For the odor, you need a pet enzyme cleaner. Follow the directions on the bottle. Your pet may go back in the same place again if you dont remove the odor. Their noses are lower to the carpet and better at detecting odors than ours so get down after the carpet is dry and give it a good sniff. *** Buy this machine. Your carpets are dirtier than you think***

> 3 dayI have two dogs and this cleaner is exactly what I need! Very easy to assemble. I was very impressed as I used this for the first time. It easily glides on carpet and does an amazing job deep cleaning! I would definitely order this again and I highly recommend this product!

> 3 dayIt definitely cleans the carpet very well. You do have to fill and empty often but wasnt a big deal. I would be great if it was easier to clean funk from the roller and everything but overall would recommend

> 3 dayThis is a very easy-to-use carpet shampoo machine nicely sized for home use, although I wouldnt recommend it for a very large house with acres of carpet. It is NOT a vacuum, as such -- you want to always vac the carpets thoroughly before using this machine, because its not designed to pick up heavy sand, bits of paper or thread, or small objects like dropped paper clips. It does, however, do an admirable job on ground-in dirt and stains. I do wish the two containers -- the top for cleaning mix, the bottom for waste water and dirt -- were larger. As it is, if youre being careful and doing overlapping strips, you dont get a very large area finished before its time to dump the waste and fill up with more clean water. I suspect, however, that this complaint is probably true for virtually ALL home-sized cleaning machines. Thats why if I were doing a whole house or large empty apartment, Id probably go rent a larger machine. But for small jobs (spills, soiled entryways and hallways, etc.) this machine totally fills the bill. The unit seems to be very nicely and thoughtfully designed generally, and well assembled. It was packed very well. But do resign yourself to popping another $20 to $30 for a large container of Bissell Cleaning Concentrate (for upright machines) as the tiny starter bottle goes quickly.

> 3 dayI purchased this machine 2 years ago and let me tell you something… this machine is a power house and cleans better than others I’ve used in the past. It easily removes stains from the carpet/rug almost immediately. Side note, I only used vinegar, fabric softener and pipping hot water for the solution and works wonders. Still truly happy with this purchase.

> 3 dayI went from living in a house covered in hardwood floors to a much larger house covered in carpet. We have 2 dogs and a toddler and really needed something to help keep the carpet clean and stain free. We’ve had a few dog accidents (new home probably caused this) and our two year old spilled a red drink on the floor. Neither of these were a challenge for this cleaner. And when I say I am SHOCKED at the amount of dog hair this thing picked up, I mean it! Pretty embarrassed actually, but glad to have something to help!

> 3 dayI am surprised at how well this carpet cleaning vacuum worked! I only spot cleaned some major dirty spots on my carpet and yes! I used the small cleaning solution included and it got out my two year olds carrot vomit stain, dirt and grime under my husbands chair, a spot where a large coke was spilled, and high traffic areas. When I can find plenty of time, Id really like to do the whole room. I agree with other reviewers, go back and forth holding the spray button and then continue to go over it until you get as much water out. It was still pretty damp. Id like to be able to clean it at night where it could dry all night without anyone walking on it, but well see. The clean water tank is small, and has to be refilled often. But with the price and how well it works, Id still call it a win.
