Nice to have a simple plug and go wiring harness. Fit the 2007 Forester factory wiring in the spare tire area perfectly. It is a little cheesy to hang the wiring out the rear door, but it is actually better than having the plug in dangling down at the rear, getting all dirty etc outside of the car.

15 minute hookup only issue was limited instructions

Plugged it into my Subaru wire harness, and everything works perfectly, installed in just a few minutes

I like this wiring harness because it was very easy to install into my 2003 Subaru Forester. I simply clipped the products vehicle-side connector into the mating connector that Subaru ships on your cars wiring harness. Its a 1 minute job. It works great with my small trailer.

Makes a plug where there wasnt a plug before. Works. 05 Scooby legacy. Sticky tape sucks.

Directions in package are not for Subarus. This car, and apparently only this car, has the plug inside the trunk and not in the taillights. Look up a youtube video for simple install.

Looked long and hard for that connector in my Tribeca, need to remove a couple pieces of plastic where the door shuts. I ended up just removing the rear trim where the tailgate closes as well as the back area where there is storage. its tucked against the wall closest to the tailgate. Then your golden... Worked perfect and i can now tow!
