19-12-2024Super easy to install. The instructions were wrong for a 2003 Subaru Outback though. We used this video to help us - [...] find the connection.

Greater than one weekThe Curt 55370 four-flat T-connector exactly replaced the one I had previously, and was simple to install. I put all but the length of wire to the trailer connector inside the tail light compartment of a 2005 Subaru Forester. The box with the connecting wires of the original harness was in the spare tire well; when a spare tire was thrown in the well after I had the tires rotated, it was bent causing a disconnection of the brake and tail light wires . Price was good, delivered quickly, easy to install, worked perfectly.

> 3 dayExcellent kit. Everything you need is included. The fact that the standard Subaru harness was built with an extra plug for this trailer wiring was a Godsend. Just plug and play. It took longer to open the package than it did to install the harness!

> 3 dayVery easy to install. Installed this into a 2005 Subaru WRX Wagon. The t-connector is inside the hatch area, under the right rear wire harness next to the body. It is tucked under there pretty good so just gently pull the harness up and run your hand along it till you feel the connector. You will need to pull up the far right floor board cover to gain access to it. You can remove the right rear tail light and there is an unused grommet, just use a razor blade to cut a line through it and run the wiring through it to the hitch.

> 3 dayThe mfg docs said it did work on a Subaru 2004 wagon even though amazon said it did not. It fits the connection just fine.

> 3 dayThis is true plug in and be done product. Towed a uhaul trailer recently and this did the job perfectly. Now sits in the spare tire area secured with the included adhesive. This is THE product for your Subaru Forester to add tow package.

> 3 dayEasy Install. So much better than trying to hack into your vehicles OEM harness and making a mess of things. Simple plug and play install. Everything just plugs in. Permanent installation is a snap and all connectors and wiring can be hidden and mounted easily inside the interior panels of the vehicle.

Greater than one weekIt is easy to install. The instructions are very generic. They directed me to look for the connector in exactly the wrong spot. So I recommend before you take all the rear interior trim out of your vehicle look for the video on Tube of You.
