> 24 hourOnly one attachment is usable with the tube extended. It seems heavy-duty and generally heavy. The suction is excellent.

> 24 hourI very rarely write reviews, but I felt obligated to do so today after using the Eureka WhirlWind that was delivered today from Amazon. Yesterday when ordering this machine after my 3-year old Bissell Zing finally bit the dust with the smell of burning plastic and loss of almost all suction, I was looking for a review like THIS ONE to let me know if I should buy the same Bissell Zing again (the devil you know) or try this Eureka WhirlWind out (the devil you don’t). For those looking for a fast answer, I will tell you right now, the Eureka WhirlWind won by a mile. This is a far superior machine and comparatively priced. For those who are looking for the reasons I feel this way I have quite a bit to write. At the beginning of the pandemic, 3 years ago, I was forced to downsize my living space significantly. I moved from a very large multiple level place to a small apartment of 500 square feet. Like everyone else during the beginning of the pandemic I was forced to buy pretty much everything online. When I moved into my new place I ordered 4 area rugs from Amazon and chose high pile shag rugs (all are in my photos) as well as a no pile indoor/outdoor rug for the bathroom. My old upright vacuum cleaner from the old place would have handled these rugs wonderfully, but it was too huge to store anywhere in my new place, so I had to give it away. What I needed was a small vacuum cleaner that could be broken apart in sections and stored under the kitchen sink. I found the Bissell Zing on Amazon and ordered it immediately. When it arrived it seemed to fit the bill. It was the right size and easy to store. But right from the first use on my high pile shag rugs and it was a struggle. The Zing was very limited- did not move easily along the shag rugs and really seemed to do a poor job. Vacuuming was HARD and it was not fun- it was like an aerobic workout and the rugs never seemed to be fully free of my cat’s hair and my long hair. Still it was all I had and I just lived with it. Also with the Zing, which is bagless, like the Eureka WhirlWind, the filter was a paper honeycomb-like thing, which I hated right away. It was not easy to clean at all. I truly hated cleaning that filter! So ok, that’s what I was dealing with and I vacuumed about once a week, hating the process. After less than a year the extension wand sections, which were plastic, began to crack. It may have been all of the pressure I was forced to use to vacuum the shag rugs. Maybe if I had just low pile rugs or floors that might not have happened. But it did. It made vacuuming ever HARDER. Oh, what a chore. I got out my friendly duct tape, bandaged the plastic and resumed and went on this way for another 2 years until yesterday when I plugged in the Zing and started vacuuming and heard an unhappy sound from the motor and smelled burning plastic. Then I lost almost all suction. It had been used approximately 150 times on the rugs and floors shown in my photos. I threw it in the trash. Since my main concern was being able to store it under my kitchen sink, I could find only 2 options under $100 here on Amazon- another Zing or the Eureka Whirlwind. I read all reviews for both. I knew the Zing quite well and knew it’s limitations and was scared to get stuck with something worse (god forbid!) but I went with the Eureka WhirlWind instead. Mind you, there are a million better vacuums out there & more money will get a better machine, but the Eureka Whirlwind is much better then the Zing for MANY reasons. First of all, it was simple & brainless to put together. I think the Zing was simple as well. But as soon as I used it today it was OBVIOUS to me how much stronger the suction was and I did not have to struggle in the same was as I did with the Zing to get it across my high pile rugs. It picked up MUCH more and I honestly think my rugs got the best vacuum they have ever experienced. They are cleaner with the WhirlWind and it was EASIER to vacuum with the Whirlwind. Other features that I found make the WhirlWind better: The extension wand is METAL with the WhirlWind, not plastic, like the Zing. So even if I had to apply the same kind of pressure, the wand is stronger and will not crack. Also, the cord is 2 feet longer than the Zing, meaning I only have to plug it in to one outlet to do my whole place. But another thing I find incredible is NO MORE honeycomb paper filter! Thank goodness! The filter on this Whirlwind is FLAT and appears so much easier to wash. Hallelujah. My vacuuming experience just now with the Whirlwind took 1/2 of the time than it took with the Zing and came out cleaner and it took less physical effort from me. So that is something you should know. This is an EXCELLENT low priced, basic, small vacuum. I will do my best to update this review only if something goes wrong and I end up hating the WhirlWind,, but so far I am thankful I did not get another Zing.

> 24 hourVacuum made of plastic. Not the good old metal ones from years ago with better suction power. Real lightweight to carry or wheel around. I like the retractable power cord. Great for stairs as you can carry it with your hand as it has a hand grip.

> 24 hourI bought this vacuum because I’m disabled and I needed an extremely light one. This is so light i do not struggle with it at all. It’s so easy to maneuver all through the house, the emptying bin just pops in and back out no pulling or leaning to make sure it’s in the right spot. The suction was surprisingly good for how small this vacuum is. It does next to nothing in carpet. There’s a switch to bring down brushes and a three slide between carpet, hard floor, and furniture. It is decent on furniture. Great on hard floor and useless on carpet. I also have 2 kids, 2 dogs, and 2 cats so this vacuum can definitely get it done on hardfloor which is what 95% of my house is. 1 carpeted bedroom remains but not for long! So if you have hardwood floors to vacuum this can handle a surprising amount of dirt and debris. My house is 2000 sqft and 1 full cleaning of all rooms (minus the carpet one) will fill the bin but it’s so easy to empty it doesn’t matter. This would also be a great one for kids bc it’s so light and the vacuum wand is very adjustable in length. So I love it. I wish it did better on carpet because the vacuum I have to keep for the 1 carpet room is heavy and hard for me to use. A great idea to buy for elderly, disabled and kids. Able bodied people can probably find a better hardfloor vacuum but this one is ridiculously easy to use and cheap so there’s that.

> 24 hourThis my second vacuum of the same model . First one lasted ~4yrs with daily usage. This one seems as good as the first, but they put a shorter cord on it which is inconvenient. If you like a lot of attachments this isn’t the vacuum for you

> 24 hourThis little vacuum is just incredible. It performs at the quality of a 500+ dollar vaccum. It has great features like retractable cord, and a mount for the brush head. Easy to to use, simple, powerful and just a dream. Its pretty much an improved mighty might vac. And both I say are designed to have one of the strongest suction capabilities I have ever witnessed. Its up there with the Miele vacs and this bad boy goes for under 100 bucks. It almost feels illegal! This is also coming from a full-time house keeper. This vacuum even feels more powerful then a shop vac. A SHOP VAC!

> 24 hourPeople complained about not doing throw rugs but right by your hand is an airflow adjustment for all floors and it works well when open for my throw rugs. I wish the adjustment lever were tighter because sometimes is opens when I have it closed and my hand pushes it. Also on the roller head is a clip, push it and the underside lifts for carpets. Someone complained that the metal section comes off, well I cant see how that can happen if you lock it into place. The vac is perfect for people with long hair, no rollers and brush to get hair wound on. It is light but I wish the attached crevice brush tool was removable to place on the end of the longer pipe to clean my bath vents. The only thing I dont like is it needs another tool for upholstery and the pipe alone is difficult for ceiling spider webs the pipe would scratch the paint, the included tool is just not right for ceilings it needs a brush but maybe I can find one. It is easy to use, love the cord rewind, easy to pull the tank off and easy to empty it. The tool included does swivel all the way round so it worked flat under the bed.

> 24 hourI purchased this little canister vacuum so I can vacuum the carpets under our beds and get into small spaces that our upright cannot get too easily. I am not disappointed! It assembled easily. The owners guide is thorough. Emptying the dust cup is easy. The retractable cord is convenient. The suction is much more powerful than what I thought it would be. I am looking forward to using it to detail my car.

> 24 hourPurchased to clean Persian-style carpets in home, its a great little machine! I have tile floors so no need of a hefty vacuum, and this provided the suction and portability needed to clean the carpets. It also did a great job on the car interior, carpets and upholstery. Used it to help clean up the vents also. The cannister is small, so its not for everyone, but for area cleaning, its perfect. Its very light, nearly anyone can handle it.
