> 3 dayThis vacuum was very inexpensive, and of average overall quality. It has some convenient features like the telescoping metal handle, bagless dirt reservoir and washable filters. This model also comes with an extra filter. The foot operated controls for power, cord release and carpet/hard floors are convenient. Suction is strong and provides good cleaning power. The downside is that the plastic components seem a little flimsy. The clip that is intended to hold the cleaning wand upright when not in use could be sturdier and the telescoping metal wand flexes and moves some during use. Overall, not a bad canister vac for the money for light residential use. It’s no Meile, buts it’s also a fifth of the cost.

> 3 dayUpdated Review: After struggling with this thing to vacuum my cellar two or three times, I replaced the broken hose on my Hoover and went back to using that on my cellar floor. This vacuum is just too much work for me to use, maintain, and store. Ive retired it to a corner, where it will sit until I can find another home for it. Original review: I bought this to replace my Hoover commercial portapower hand vacuum, the plastic stretch hose on which broke in two at the handle after three years of intermittent use. So, I decided to try something different. The hose on this does not stretch, a plus for me. Ive only used it once so far to vacuum my hardwoods, area rugs, and cement cellar floor. Will take some getting used to. The suction on this thing is phenomenal, due in part to the design of the floor attachment, which is flat and hugs the floor. I read the instructions and experimented with all the settings and combinations on both hardwoods and flat pile area rugs. It works well on my hardwoods using the carpet settings. The hardwood setting hugs the floor too tightly, making it difficult to move. The carpet setting works on no pile area rugs only if you pull the wand towards you. If you try to push it forward, it gets hung up on the carpet, regardless of how you use the settings. It does not work at all on my pile carpets. The hose is a bit cumbersome because its pretty stiff, but Im tall and I can work with it. So, I finished vacuuming and even though the dirt cup was only half full, I decided to empty and wash it. Unfortunately, the dirt cup does not separate from the foam filter housing (you can remove the foam filter, but not the housing), so to wash either one they both get wet. And, when I checked the foam filter, it was filthy and required washing as well. Very cumbersome to work with. Currently, the entire housing and filter are laying in front of my baseboard heater trying to dry. I got this to use on my cement cellar floors, and it appears to be fine for that using the carpet settings. Picks up cat litter, dust, and small debrs. There is a small brush for upholstery, but no decent crevice tool, which I need to clean my dryer screen housing and vents. I do like the retractable cord and that the wand attaches to the machine for storage. I also like that it has wheels and I can easily pull the vacuum behind me. Ill use it for a bit and see if I can work with its shortcomings. I like to keep my vacuum dirt cup clean with each using. Not sure how well that will go because cleaning and drying is a time eater and I have no sink in my basement. Just not a good fit for me.

> 3 dayI have been looking for about a year for another vacuum cleaner. I have a very nice Hoover Windtunnel upright and it does a great job, but I bought it when I had carpeting throughout the house. Since hardwood floors arrived and I only have one bedroom with carpet (keeps the noise down) it is not as enjoyable to vacuum the entire house with a larger and heavier vacuum. So my search finally decided on the Eureka NEN110A Whirlwind Bagless Canister Vacuum Cleaner and I am glad I did. It arrived yesterday after ordering it only Friday, thanks Amazon. Needless to say, I had to take it for a spin. Here is what I can report for the newly arrived. 1. It is pretty. Yes, pretty; I dont like ugly appliances. All the bells and whistles are great, but if the unit is ugly, then I dont want it. You know what I am talking about, you seen other vacuum cleaners that look like they jumped out of a 1950 sci-fi movie. Hello, the commercial vacuum that is short, round and has eyes painted on it, or the Shark Apex or the Shark DuoClean Powered Lift Away Speed Vacuum that looks like a tower that could easily fall over, or almost all Oreck. Oh yes, I know this may step on a toe or toe, but sometimes the truth is ugly and hey, this is my review. But this unit is good looking, racey, futuristic even, and I love the color blue they made it in. 2. Power - plenty of suction power. As a matter of fact I had to adjust back the vacuum power using the handy built in suction adjustment on the hand. No problem with suction power. 3. Ease of use - this is were it really shines. It is around 8 pounds so it is quick and easy to maneuver all over the house. Easy to get down under furniture as the head swivels around, turning and twisting your floors clean. The dust cup is small, but so is the vacuum cleaner, but it is easy to pop out and dump, snap closed and your ready to go. I hate when people whine about having to empty the canister so often, seriously, why do you want to leave all that dirt in the vacuum for days. It even easily rolls over its own power cord. My Kenmore canister that weighed over 20 pounds couldnt even roll over its own cord, it would get stuck and I would have to lift it. 4. The built into the wand brush and crevice tool worked really well also. The wand, the handles plug securely into each other and the vacuum with a nice little snap. Easy to undo also. The auto-rewind on the unit is great too, a nice feature at this price point. The power cord is 16 feet, but if it was possible to have another five feet would be awesome, but I am not complaining, I just unplug and move to another area and plug into a different outlet that is closer to the work area, after all our houses come with multiple outlets. 5. Lifespan, this is always the unknown, but the unit has a one year manufacturer warranty and I purchased 3 more years under the Assurance plan. So I feel I am covered. Time will tell and Ill update these comments if something goes wrong and also if the unit keeps working just fine.

> 3 dayOkay so this canister. Im a professional house cleaner, for the past 8 years and counting. I have used the eureka mighty mite for the majority of that time and, while its a great vacuum itself, the most common thoughts I had were, man I wish this had a retractable cord, and, wouldnt it be neat if there was a bagless option? And then lo and behold. Eureka answers my unspoken prayers like theyre some kind of mind readers, or Im not the only one with those thoughts. Lets start with the basics. This thing just looks sleek and professional. Its super lightweight, maybe even lighter than the mighty mite but I cant say for sure because that would require me to read the specs and Im not doing that. Ive used it a dozen times so far and I can easily cover a whole house without emptying the canister. The retractable cord hasnt failed me once. I love that the upholstery brush is attached to the hose and cant fall off and get lost in my car. I love that the wand is extendable and metal so it cant break like the plastic one in the MM. Its quieter than the MM. It moves across the floor easily and the adjustments for hard floor, carpet and upholstery are so much better than the previous guessing game on the MM. The suction power is amazing, it picks everything up the first go round and you dont have to repeatedly run over that one stupid leaf that for some reason just cant be recognized. Not with this thing, this baby picks it up first try. I have exactly zero complaints about this thing. Zero. It meets or exceeds all of my expectations for daily use. Seriously if someone had told me in my 20s that Id be borderline forming an emotional attachment to a vacuum in my 30s Id have been horrified. Yet here we are and when I tell you this vacuum is amazing..... Honestly its amazing.

> 3 dayVery good suction (pet-free household), works well on hard and carpeted floors, super easy to clean, loving the in-built brush to reach narrow spaces, optimal cord length (can do a large room without reconnecting). Key drawback- wobbly attachment of the wand/tube, doesn’t sit tight, gets disconnected easily (you can work around it, but the design could certainly be improved).

> 3 dayThis machine is everything I needed and more. I was initially looking for a cordless stick vacuum but after ordering a couple with great reviews and which I had to return due to not living up to my expectations; I decided to get this one, which would replace an old Kenmore which was pretty good but too old and broken, and boy was I happy I gave it a chance! This machine is a beast, you can actually feel it sucking up anything on the floor, carpet or furniture. Cleaning it is quick and easy and you can even rinse/wash the filter and container where the filter sits. This machine is also much cheaper than the ones I tried before and definitely more superior in quality. Love it!!!

> 3 dayIt seems to work well and has decent suction. I got the used item and it was as good as new and I saved $10 bucks. The only beef I had is the there is no crevice tool included.
