eureka WhirlWind Bagless Canister Vacuum Cleaner, Lightweight Vac for Carpets and Hard Floors, Blue

My vacuum that’s supposed to be multi-surface just blew stuff around on the hardwood floor but did fine in carpet or area rugs. My new house is all wood floors, but I also have rugs everywhere. I vacuumed two rooms with the Eueka and got an inch of dust and dirt and whatnot in the canister. I cannot wait to vacuum the rest of my house!!! I’ll take pictures and update soon.

Very good suction (pet-free household), works well on hard and carpeted floors, super easy to clean, loving the in-built brush to reach narrow spaces, optimal cord length (can do a large room without reconnecting). Key drawback- wobbly attachment of the wand/tube, doesn’t sit tight, gets disconnected easily (you can work around it, but the design could certainly be improved).

It seems to work well and has decent suction. I got the used item and it was as good as new and I saved $10 bucks. The only beef I had is the there is no crevice tool included.

I have a small apartment with tile floors but 4 cats. I love this little vacuum! I love the canister and the ability to see what I may have sucked up from under the couch! It has a few very cool features for carpet and for floor! Perfect for my little homestead! And worth every penny!

Vacuum made of plastic. Not the good old metal ones from years ago with better suction power. Real lightweight to carry or wheel around. I like the retractable power cord. Great for stairs as you can carry it with your hand as it has a hand grip.

Ive been using this regularly for almost a year now. Pros: + Works great on my hardwood and slate floors. It did chip a little of my slate tile when I first used it; so now I go gentle on it. Works well on the rugs I have too. + The machine is of good quality and the telescopic wand is solid metal (which might be a little heavy to lug around for some). ++ The swivel on the floor attachment is nice and smooth, better than the cheaper quality and cheaper priced little green one I had before. This has been my biggest plus. + Im happy with the suction level. I dont have to put the cleaner head directly on top of bigger debris most of the time. It picks it up with regular sliding motion. It also sucks dust along the walls well. + The machine is compact, lightweight and easy to maneuver. + I also like the easy accessibility of the suction control on the handle. + I like that the filter is more of a post filter after the dust separator has done most of the job; so the filter doesnt get too dirty and wouldnt need to be replaced too soon. The filter also doesnt start smelling if I dont empty the dust cup for a few weeks. The dust cup and components are easy enough to empty and wash. There are quite a few little things that bug me though. - Im not crazy that the parts snap fit. It means that I cant reuse parts from old machines Ive had. - I dont like that the brush head is attached to the handle. It means that I cant attach it to the end of the wand and have to lift the whole machine to reach places. Light as the machine is, thats not something I want to do. The brush head is not removable. - It only comes with the floor head and the attached brush head. I do occasionally use the attachments that come with my vacuum cleaner. So I find this limiting. - Even though the dust cup and all its components are washable, I find it difficult to get the hair that twirls around the separator. (picture attached) The blue part is not detachable unless you remove screws, which is not practical to do regularly. The gap is barely enough to fit a small scissors in, but thats the best I can do. - I wish the cord was a tad longer, but I just use an extension cord. Not a deal breaker for me, but annoying nonetheless. I could have reached the extra foot if I could have attached an extra wand to it, which I cant because of the snap-fit connections. Overall a good compact vacuum cleaner. But I probably wouldnt get it again.
